Ha ha. – I am here for all of you. 100%

You’re a little late Doc, 25 years ago I decided to go to work on my own head! Could have used you then, but now my modifications have hardened to stone! I’m still chipping away and burnishing the granite every day!

So why does Christmas make so many people feel blue.

What would your perfect Christmas be.

    Is it realistic.

    I got this one!

It’s blue from all the f~~~ing snow and ice!

    I’m not in the Bahamas!

Tell me – how do you know the difference between thise who seek to manipulate and those who arse simply crying out for help?

There’s no way to tell, so play it safe.

I am no Saint, but some of the things that I have read recently I find disturbing.

    So be gentle?

If a man is lying down on the battlefield and in agony – would you not be gentle?

So why can’t we be gentle with those who’s emotional pain is intolerable.

Well said Doc! Tender is mercy and mercy is tender…

You truly are the House Doc Sir. A big Salute to you!

    I 2nd that!

I had to tighten my own head bolts and change the gasket every time I was wrong on the torque specs! I didn’t have the manual! I reverse engineered it! Sucks when you warp your head and spring a leak!

I’m not saying don’t reach out a hand. I’m saying when you do make sure you have a firm footing. It is easier to be dragged into a hole that to drag someone out of one.

    I entirely agree.

You are good man for the job Doc.
We’re better for having you here.

Is he gonna send us a bill?

    I cant afford this!

Seek the motive out. Not the behaviour alone.

I will take your advice to heart.

    You guys humble me.

Honestly. I just doing my bit for you all. I am pro bono. Forever.

You have found your home Brother Doc. As you have seen, and from people that have not even spoken to you, your words are of wisdom, from the heart with knowledge backing them, and for the betterment of your fellow Brothers. There is much to be said in the selflessness of that my Friend. Much.

I have plans to go anywhere General. I’m staying put. I need you as much as you might need me.

This place right here right now in December 2017 is merely the start. As with every fight back the wheels turn almost imperceptibly slow. They grind over years and decades and centuries.

Like the Suffragettes and what they decided for right or wrong our wheels turn so surely yet slowly. We WILL succeed and we will be part of that change. We ARE THE CHANGE. RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW.

Trust me when I say I admire that mentality. Sometimes necessity breeds the only answer.
    Survive or die. Simple as.

You are mentally disfigured. We all are. It’s the only place it counts.

Not to be a pessimist Doc, but I feel the time for change is too late. It is time for survival, and a hard time we’ve all been thru and yet to encounter. 🙁

    Survival means changing the focus.
Not to framed as a negative. As I said on a different thread – happiness is within you and not in the world around you.

See Old Bills link to Stoicism and Marcus Aurelius. He and Buddha say that he exact same thing.

Look inside yourself – what is it that you want – how do you digest that. Keep searching. Inside.

Sounds like Tower performed Trepanation so he’s feeling no pain. 🙂

And when he expresses himself in his words we shoot him down with words.

Don’t worry about me Doc, I agree with the OP. You wont see me badgering the dude pouring his heart into a keyboard.

Many of us here are “retired booze hounds,” who sobered up permanently. We understand suicide in relation to the emotional fragility.

I would never egg on a suicidal person. But I will let them follow their behavior to its natural ending, whether its terminal or awakening. I respect the causal nature our lives which I do not believe we control. I think people are truly incapable of controlling themselves.

Our general lack of freewill gets us into scraps but it can also help us get out of them if we just stop fighting the current. Many of the “cry out for help” guys are just venting. We can politely advise them, not berate them (that’s your good message and it’s solid) but we also have to admit that both we, and the people in their actual physical lives are incapable of stopping a suicide if its going to happen.

One thing to also consider is that, the person who is actually going to commit suicide, frequently they themselves don’t even know it and don’t even feel depressed. Yet, they are a 12 pack of beer and 6 hours away from putting a muzzle in their mouth…

I think you can probably confirm that most suicides are related to substance abuse. Not saying all of them but most.

The angst that a woman causes can also initiate an emotional crisis so I’d be weary of that too. Luckily, MGTOW is here for the guys who just got run over by a female steamroller. I’m all about consoling them.

If the man is speaking about his grief while mentioning substance abuse as well, then it opens up a whole new can of worms because he will be irrational when he is intoxicated and irrational. Its like a roulette wheel at that point.

Exactly. we all reached this place in different cars on different days on different roads in different weather.
I could go on. You get my meaning. Point is – we came HERE. that is what binds us. Permently.

I agree Doc. Every man is different. With different upbringings. We all feel pain in our own unique ways. It’s one of the aspects that define us. This site needs to be a genuine refuge for those of us in various stages of red pill realisation. Hell it took me 4 marriages to wake up and take the pill. We need to be better than those who s~~~ on us. We need to be manly examples in our own ways to those that need it.

For in much wisdom is much grief, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.

Great post Doc I myself am trying to be stoic as possible
at 55 I should set an example for the younger guys but I am flat broke after Returning from almost two years of hard labor in another state where I was stripped of everything I made in 2016 and jailed for the better part of 2017. Back home with out enough to open a bank account.
This is what being a man is in this day and age.
I still love everyone (even those who lined up as my enemies)
    I still respect everyone.
Was thinking about a gofundme project to get back on my feet but it requires a bank account.
I have for the last ten years Ghosted society living on less than 10k a year and my bank was in my pocket.
I am an old salty stealth camper who has not payed a regular monthly bill in all that time.
I do not have Gas money to get to work if I had work. Sometimes the hardest thing for a man to do is admit he needs help because all we can normally expect is someone to kick us while we are down and take what little we have just so they can say you should have appreciated and been thankful for what you had.
I am guilty of defining what a man is but I learned it from the man I admired and loved most in the world.
My own earthly father who’s spirit I will never let die. His flesh is below ground so I relate to your loss.
When I first joined this site I was told the urban dictionary would never publish the definition of MGTOW from this site.. I took that as a challenge and stayed at it until it was published as the sixth definition. The guys at this site jumped on board and started up-voting it until those who wrote the definition from this site can be proud that it is now in the top spot. I take no credit for writing it only staying at it until the urban dictionary published it.
Being selfless enough to give without asking for anything in return was what my father said a man was.
these men at this site made me feel like who I was mattered as much as what I was doing, and showed appreciation.
My father insisted that just because Jesus was a man
is proof enough for him that a man is much more than a human being.
He put it this way once and it made a lot of since.
If you put ten human beings in a race for a prize, it would be safe to bet on self interest every time. It may not be the horse that wins but will be the one trying the hardest.
If you put ten men in a race for a prize they will talk it over and decide who needs the prize most and that man will win even if he is the slowest horse.
I must stay in his spirit so laughter comes more easy.
He wrote my epitaph for me:
Here lays a selfless man and a stoic’s stoic
He is dead now but who cares anyhow.
I can only laugh when looking at the world in his
    spirit.
He will eventually write a full page newspaper add thanking the government for regulating me UP to an indigent condition and moving me from a camp site with no running water or other public utilities to put me in a county jail where I had a roof over my head and three meals a day.
He will follow the thank you add with a public apology on behalf of his son for being a burden on the tax payers who had to foot the bill for the governments
    wonderful act of kindness.
The states declaration that I am impoverished is a wonderful thing because I get to confess with the same words JESUS used. “IT IS AS YOU SAY” What more can you take from a man who has nothing but the product of his faith and that is the spirit of his father who could only be alive in heaven on earth..
My self evident truth completes and proves both God’s law of the Bible and Man’s organic law of the declaration of independence.
Rights are unalienable because You can never take away rights no matter what you have done
The spirit of a heavenly father will never be taken from the heart of his faithful son.
No mater how long it takes eventually the authorities
have to accept responsibility and face their own bosses. My fathers pen will be mighty as well as funny.
Can a dead man write a book? I think not.
    Soon he shall publish:
“THE BOOK OF BUD THE GOD OF BOB”
by the Honorable Lord Winston McKinney
Yes we should help rather than hurt those who are trying to get back on their feet.
I have put full faith and trust in my fathers spiritual guidance and that prescription will provide me with a full cure. I have no doubts.
I love and respect everyone at this site.

I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.

Outstanding Topic and post DocDJ. Probably Top Gun material.

If we can’t offer words of support or wisdom we do better to leave that man be and let others lift him. Carry him even. Set him down when his heart is stronger and ready for the fight.

Christmas is painful for almost all of us. For some it is intolerable.
Emotional pain is worse than physical pain so if a man cries out and needs to say how much pain he feels – especially if the greatest pain they have experienced is around Christmas past we should carry him.

You must own a better Crystal ball than I
