I won’t be polite here…. Sandman would produce a video on how to make chicken soup and slap a MGTOW label onto it and call it “MGTOW chicken soup”. He’s the MacDonald’s hamburger of MGTOW. You know exactly what it’s going to taste like before you bite into it.

Maybe you weren’t there for the whole Sandman shaming MGTOW thing, but it was pretty nasty how he one day decided to say “MGTOW just need to get over it… stop whining… they‘re just bitter.”

He even talks about “MGTOW” like “THEY” (in the 3rd person, like he isn’t one himself) are “wallowing in their own filth and misery”.

I like a lot of his stuff. Some of his videos I don’t care for, but he definitely has a good number of classics. One that I particularly like is the Magic Wallet Maneuver video.

Barbarossa is my favorite as far as creators of MGTOW videos. He goes really deep into female nature, how society treats men, and the risks and double standards that men deal with in the world today. His videos really wake men up on how s~~~ty they are treated today, as well as how s~~~ty they have been treated throughout history.

Barbarossa did a great video about “commensurate exchange“. It is permanently in my memory and I quote:

“As a business owner or employee, when I provide a service, I expect to be compensated to a degree that is COMMENSURATE with the value of that service.”

( I even said that word-for-word in a job interview years ago, when I was asked “what are your salary requirements?” )

Women actually speak and behave like dating her is a “job”.

I do not have the time to watch the video right now Chauvinist, and I do not know what insights and conclusions Barbarossa comes to, but I have thought on this topic a few times over the years and here is my two cents-

This is a ingrained caveman instinct for many females that they cannot separate from. I am sure it comes from two alpha males fighting over a female (or larger entanglements with the winners taking the women), with the winner (s) getting the right to mate. Sex with a proven alpha male (s) who was willing to risk his life, or at the very least, a severe beating, must surely induce the cream to flow down below. I need no more evidence than the fact that I have heard many stories of women who get wet from watching boxing and or fight sports… I am sure this is a dark secret amongst females that makes many of them not even admit to the phenomenon, we will likely never know how prevalent it is amongst the females of our species.

We all know Barbarossa lays down some serious MGTOW motivation. I’m sure this one has been seen by many, but I’d like to highlight it. It’s worth spending the 30 minutes watching.

This one strikes close to me. One of my best friends has a daughter who five years ago was a very beautiful and intelligent 21 year old who hardly drank. She got involved with a series of thugs. She has now fled the State of Georgia to a State unknown having multiple felony charge warrants and a meth addiction. She added a lot of weight and lost teeth. She’s the second petite non-whale female that ballooned after getting hooked on meth that I’ve known in my lifetime.

tl;dr: considering this discussions, sounds like it is a terrible idea.

I had similarly bad experiences described here. Some of them was to be accused of (concern) trolling when I challenged the echo chamber nature of some so called “manosphere” circles. Others I was attacked, being accused of (wait for it) not “being a real man”(I can’t be the only one who sees the irony), because, yes, I can be very sensitive and vulnerable sometimes(But hey, I can also kick your f~~~ing ass with my two hands down even if you are much stronger than me. Do I deserve more of your respect now? Anyway…).

Most of the times it happened, I either ignored or mocked it. I don’t care if “it is just how internet is”, I’m old school and will address anyone the same way I would do in person, with any kind of power on him (being a boss, etc) or not, and I only deal with the same. Rudeness, disinformed opinionated comments I simply pass beyond it. There are too many kittens roaring like lions on their keyboard. I’m too old to deal with that.

I also notice that there is somekind of “MGTOW idols” going on. Barbarossa, Stardusk, Sandmans(urgh…). This is just weird to me. I contacted some of them before with suggestion, and didn’t get any return either. Not that I care, but “oh, what’s really going to bake your noodle later on is”: a woman did.

Things seems to unreel quite fast on MGTOW. Things discussed were usually personal experiences, opinions, allegories. Now we have the kinds of blacknostic speaks and CS MGTOW locked and loaded with historical data, empiricism, pragmatism. Some schisms are already happening, based on how much contact you have with women.

All of these are related to my question and subsequent comment. All these makes me more convinced that some men will just leave all this bulls~~~ behind and create small, simple hermetic “brotherhoods”. Maybe it is already happening and we don’t even know it (Illuminati confirmed?).

That was a GREAT post (as far as I am concerned) — for more reasons than you know.

Let me rewind a few years.

I ,too, was shut out from a MGTOW online/ discussion group/forum – before I even got a single chance to post. Not only was I not permitted to participate , but I submitted a short intro – TWICE – and they actually banned me for NOT A SINGLE reason – or communication – about it, no matter how hard I tried to wrap my brain around what I could have possibly said to warrant this kind of reception.

Not only could I not join, but I was not even permitted to visit anymore.

Much like the enthusiasm our members have when they arrive and leave a VOLUNTARY introduction expressing their delight at finding us….. I was thrilled, and the door was brutally slammed in my face.

But I was not angry as you are. I was sad. Very, very saddened. In my opinion this is the WORST thing you can do. Slam the door in a genuine MGTOW’s face. I know what it takes to get here, and when a man is standing at the door asking to be let in, you don’t do that.

He’s been shut out and shot down too many times already.
That’s WHY he’s here in the first place.

And then one day not long after, I happened across Barbarossa on youtube. I saw his video asking for someone’s help to create an “online archive of MGTOW / Manosphere content”. I (we) offered to assist with that with such enthusiasm, but there was no reply. I learned from him directly that he didn’t remember, which is fine. I wouldn’t blame anyone for thinking we didn’t have the ability or skills to do it – or even if they questioned our intent.

But the reception was not a warm one. Not even a cold one.
So I said “If we build it, they will come”. And sure enough that’s what happened.

We opened her 2 months after that forum shut down. And again, the reception from the community was not a good one – or a bad one really. It was virtually non-existent. I would have thought the reception to be OVERWHELMINGLY positive. Like “HEY!!! You guys! This is AWESOME!!” But that took a long time.

The reception we got was :

• “Who are you guys and what are you up to?” (questioning our motives)
• “I don’t need a manifesto” (referring to the old MGTOW Manifesto which we first posted on the about page)
• And “Are you Paul Elam? Are you Sandman?”

I don’t blame them for asking that, but when they got answer, we didn’t hear from them again. And when we carefully rewrote the about page to something succinct, we never heard “boo” about it again. Nobody from the MGTOW sphere has ever pushed back on anything we’ve done here – which Is rather surprising because MGTOW are a tough crowd.

They will chew you up and spit you out before you have a chance to even TRY a fragment of horses~~~. So I suppose what I like about MGTOW, I originally did NOT like about MGTOW either.

I was treated like “blue-pill mangina troll” as well. But I’m not.
I was just… misunderstood.

In this space and method of communication, that’s too easily done.

It took 10 months before Barb made an introduction and I JUMPED to chat with him on Skype. It was an unbelievable thrill to hear from him and speak with him. Nobody else reached out (except AVFM) but we had sensed some real tension between them and another MGTOW forum…. and we were totally unaware of it.

( AVFM didn’t even really EXIST to us, and we really didn’t understand the friction that existed – certainly not to the extent others did. So I agree with you, it’s not a “friendly” bunch at first glance, and there is much palpable friction to be found. )

Barb asked us to create an theatrical intro for his channel (on a Friday), and I stayed up personally to finish it sending to him on Sunday morning at 5AM. He loved it, and we were glad to give it to him – no charge or anything – and in exchange we hoped he might join and make an intro. He joined, but hadn’t been in touch since….. except to request a high resolution still of the fighter jet we created for him.

Days before we opened, I actually had a pleasant exchange with Sandman and sent him a video which he loved. The banned Toyota Commercial “Men getting their own way”. It was a Tuesday morning and we commented, and then he commented …. but when MGTOW.COM opened, we never heard from him. Or Stardusk – in spite of my running over to thank him for his impact he made on many lives.

If there is one thing we are not in a position to do, it’s criticize MGTOW for “going their own way” because that’s the whole point, but we were not expecting “nothing” or complete radio silence. Certainly not from the youtube gents. We actually worked weeks to showcase and “frame” them here.

After a while, some veterans (Zuberi Tau, Cap , Plato (the first poster here), Beja Flor and many others) heard my story , spoke of nearly identical experiences with that “other forum” and it was GREAT to see them here. It meant more to me than I can express.

I also saw the face-book group that has a “leader” who calls himself “Dave” or something. With something like “6 levels of MGTOW”. I wouldn’t consider being ousted from that group as any indication or measure of anything.

Eventually Shining Light and Messenger (very new at the time – not even a MGTOW for a full year yet) reached out to have a Google hangout. It was scheduled to be a introduction for about an hour, and I was pretty sure we could expect some tough questions.

….. but it turned into SEVEN HOURS and we had a GREAT time.

I laughed until I cried. Not kidding. A few weeks later, we connected again, this time with Niko Choski and it an another entire day flew by. It was better than ANY first date I was ever on. I couldn’t hang up. The most “fun” I had in a long time. Belly aches. Our faces hurt from laughing. It was like meeting my brothers I never met for the first time. I can’t even describe it any other way.

As one of the great MGTOWs put it (either Barbarossa or Thinking Ape) there is a part of the cortex called the Lizard Brain – this controls all the lower instincts and we are hardwired to think that way for the sake of procreation and survival of the species.

If a greater threat than procreation (i.e. in our case male extermination or slavery) comes to the forefront the smarter males will move away from this conditioned reflex, exhibiting control over their lower impulses, in order to survive.

Yes. PUA started me on the path toward MGTOW, as I imagine it did for a lot of MGTOW.

I was not a good PUA. Jesus f~~~ing Christ, three seconds in and I wanted to close the video. But I listened to the whole video, and it was painful as hell. There’s nothing “war-like” with MGTOW; if anything, that describes the feminists and these c~~~s. If you can’t handle seven minutes (and seven c~~~s) of girlish giggling and women talking, save yourself and don’t watch it.

As someone on these forums said, these c~~~s are willing to target Mayor of MGTOWN and anyone else they deem as easy pickings.
