I know that CS MGTOW tried to organize one in UK, but I don’t know if it really happened. I wonder if there will be a time when MGTOWs will feel comfortable in gathering sometime, secretly or not.

Meetup groups generally have done poorly by men who have tried to do MGTOW get together. I personally don’t believe avoiding marriage alone is sufficient to really get men together to do anything, even meet. If you know some guy who you have some common other interests with, that would work, but simply not marrying isn’t enough. With myself, I am picky in regards to my interest and am not interested in hanging out for just social reasons. Throw in some games, or some other intellectual conversation, or other things relevant to how I would live, and I am game for this.

It can happen: it should be decided in the reserved area, then it should be announced that the decision had been taken, then emails should be sent to old members inviting them.
By this way someone reading the forum from the outside would be just only aware that “somewhere, in the next 3-4 months, there will be a MGTOW meeting”.

I have mixed feelings about all this. There are quite a few MGTOW here I’d love to meet in person if I ever got to the chance to, but I’m a guy who doesn’t really talk much even if I have the same interests as other men I’m around.

So I’d be pretty boring to be around for any long periods of time.

Back to the topic. When I asked about it, I didn’t have any specific idea in mind about rationale, motivations, or format. Still, considering what I’ve been seeing about MGTOW in the internet (videos, articles and discussions), I wouldn’t be surprised if undisclosed, hermetic societies comes out of this(Fight Club style or not). These discussions shows me more to believe in that. In fact, I’ve already seen things works in similar ways Anonymous activists works. There is also a guy in a forum (I will guess he is above 40’s) that casually explained how he helps young men by hiring a small room in the back of his property for a small price, mostly to help them put their life together. “It is not charity, and informal”, and he seemed kinda picky to whom he is going to accomodate.

It’s an interesting idea, being a man going your own way doesn’t automatically mean you’re a hermit. If any meetups are attempted, however, the experiences of Roosh and the ROK meetups cannot be ignored.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks it would interesting to say hello, shake hands, and talks face to face.

You could not post a mgtow meetup on the site exactly where everyone would see it because it would likely start a feminist riot (like what happened over ROK’s meetups) those c~~~s literally contacted a police department over a rapist man gathering.
