A little off, but I personally don’t give a crap about Trump’s tax return. I understand that running a business is about maximizing profits, which requires minimizing taxes. That is the goal from the perspective Trump was in…the role he’s playing.
You cannot look at his tax return and then make a judgment on how he would react as president. It’s a different role, different goal, different perspective. It’s like saying a goalie would make a lousy striker because he uses his hands all the time.
The same holds for the Clintons really, although personal taxes do hold a little more usefulness as a measure of ethics to me. It’s all irrelevant though as Hilary has a long political track record that is much more telling then any tax return, IMO.
Ok. Then do it.

I was not making an opinion on the election itself, although your analysis seems pretty spot on.
Tax law and corporate law would need someone here who understood both. Its not uncommon for companies to have multiple lawsuits running along with audits as government agencies and private interests look to screw businesses out of money.

2016-09-22 at 7:39 AM#309435It is “Trump Organization LLC”:
http://www.bloomberg.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=344985
But the letter looks like it says “Sole proprietorship” for the business structure, so it is confusing. I am not one to want to go off and rail ignorantly. I do this enough. When I said “I don’t want to” that doesn’t mean I don’t do it.You have to think about the LLC and the sole proprietorship separately. LLC is a “legal” term describing the company you would sue, who your employer is, etc. “Sole Proprietor” is a “tax” term for a company that is reported on Schedule C of Form 1040. If you have a side business and reported the income, it would be a sole proprietor on Schedule C.
If the LLC has two or more owners, then it must be designated as either a partnership or a corporation. If it is a partnership, it must file it’s own Form 1065 and send a Form K-1 to each partner. They would then include their share of the income on their individual return. If it’s a corporation, it files Form 1120 and pays it’s own tax.
Now, if the LLC is 100% owned by one person, it can’t be a partnership. Can’t have a partnership without partners. But you can designate it as a “disregarded entity” for tax purposes. It’s still an LLC for legal purposes, but it is ignored for income tax purposes. When you do that, you look to owner for where to file the taxes. Since Trump is a person, it goes on his Form 1040.
If I were to take a guess, I’d bet you money that Trump Organization LLC owns a bunch of other LLC’s. You would create a separate LLC for Trump Tower, Trump Casino, etc. Otherwise you couldn’t go bankrupt on one company without sucking all of the other ones in. Trump Organization LLC likely is a holding company owning the LLC membership interest in each of those subsidiaries.
Since they are all LLC’s, they can all be disregarded for tax purposes. Which again just means that they are reported directly on Trump’s tax return.
If he discloses his tax return, you would be able to see the net taxable income or loss on EVERY company. And I mean company-by-company. You want to know how much he makes on Trump Tower? Find the Schedule C for Trump Tower LLC. They are each reported on a separate Schedule C.Compare that to Bill and Hillary. They would have a Schedule C for speaking engagements. With “income” on one line. Not speech by speech, just one line item combining all of their speaking fees.
Hillary releasing her tax return is akin to taking one’s blood pressure. Trump releasing his tax return is a full body cavity search.

People support Trump because he is an honest gamble. Not sure which way he will go. But, the other options are a sure bet of screw us all over.
One thing is for sure. Trump is not beholden to the lobbyists like most of the political whores. The only thing the lobbyists are more scared of than this is that he has raised around a $100 million in three months from over 2.1 million people in small donations of less than $200 each. Trump just proved that a savvy campaigner can raise money without lobbyists.
Trump is also running rings around the media. And he is not spending money on political ads for the media. This is how the media makes its money, with advertising from the candidates: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2016/09/21/cable-news-corps-reacting-to-scant-campaign-spending-frustrated-media-attempt-to-create-news/
If Trump can win the election without the support of the lobbyists and the tv/newspaper media, he will politically cripple them.
2016-09-22 at 7:18 AM#309426My guess is that they are LLC’s, but he is the 100% owner. As such, it’s a legal entity but disregarded for tax purposes. When you disregard it, it becomes a sole proprietorship reported on Schedule C of your Form 1040 individual tax return.
Not the best move for estate planning, he should have got the kids in on it when they were just starting the companies and they had no value.
The 100% owned LLC is pretty common even in the corporate tax world. Let’s say you have a company making money that owns a company losing money. You can convert the lower level company to an LLC and offset the income and losses for some state taxes. Same goes if a loss company owns an income producing company.
It is “Trump Organization LLC”:

2016-09-22 at 7:10 AM#309419It’s different here in Canada, when taking public office, politicians have to transfer ownership, usually to the kids and can’t have any business dealings with said company because it would be viewed as a conflict of interest.
Two things:
1. I am talking about what you would see on his tax returns from past years.
2. We have a similar rule, but we have never elected a president with the empire that Trump has. I’m not sure anyone here knows exactly how it would work if he wins. But a president here can’t even know what stocks he owns in the stock market. All of his investments are placed in a blind trust and the trustee isn’t allowed to tell the President what is in it.Even if Trump transfers all of his ownership to his children (and faces several billion dollars in estate taxes), he still has intimate knowledge of what his policies would do to the value of the brand. It will be interesting to say the least.
FYI, the biggest thing that Trump could do for himself if elected president is attempt to get the estate tax repealed effective his first year in office. That would allow him to avoid that tax when he transfers ownership to his children. IF he is really worth the $10 billion he claims he is, that’s about $4 billion in estate tax. I’m guessing he would be arguing that his companies are worth much less than that in front of the IRS. It would be interesting to see a tax court case make it’s way all the way to the Supreme Court over the valuation of his businesses. The People vs. The President.

2016-09-22 at 6:39 AM#309385I figured I would run this by this board here, for anyone else who may be up on things, and may have an answer. This is the letter Trump is using to explain why he won’t release his tax returns, because he is being audited (it is on his site):
https://www.donaldjtrump.com/press-releases/donald-j.-trumps-u.s.-federal-income-tax-returnsIn it, at least some of his businesses in that letter are said to be in sole proprietorship. I am curious how many he is doing that with. I ask this here, because my experience with the realm of starting a business, from numerous places, say to go LLC at least, if you can. A think about a sole proprietorship, is that it opens you up to being able to be held personally liable for what the business does. It is said, if possible, to be in an LLC.
So, in regards to this, I am curious how many of his businesses he is going this way, and what advantage it has for him not to use an LLC? Anyone have answers? He said he never went through a bankruptcy personally, so I am having a hard time fathoming him using a sole proprietorship much at all.
Anyone have an answer here?

2016-09-22 at 6:28 AM#309378In reply to: MGTOW Does Not Hate.
In principle, hate is not a part of MGTOW. There is no requirement to hate women and hating is in contradiction to what MGTOW is about.
However, if you want to argue that there aren’t any MGTOW that are hateful to women, or that MGTOW don’t say things that can easily be interpreted as hate…you’re kidding yourself. If you consistently refer to women as c~~~s, you shouldn’t be surprised when someone concludes that you hate women. You can argue over the definition of hate, but you must admit you’re skirting the line, definitely in the grey area.
Case in point, in a thread like this where everyone wants to show that they don’t hate women, suddenly the volume of ‘c~~~’, ‘bitch’, ‘whore’ drops dramatically. That happens because we know that using those words doesn’t send the message that we don’t hate.
When Clinton calls Trump supporters a basket of deplorables, only her supporters are argue that it’s not a hateful statement.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not telling people to watch their language or go PC. I’m saying let’s not pretend the other side has absolutely no reason to look at MGTOW and conclude there is a lot of hate there.
I agree to an extent that hate is a natural emotion. As a society, we take it way too seriously and consider a permanent emotion…which it absolutely is not. And it is an emotion. Part of the problem with our feminist society is we put way too much emphasis on emotions, overriding all logic. A hateful MGTOW is no less right about the state of our society then an emotionless MGTOW or a NFG MGTOW.
Ok. Then do it.

I think of it as a renunciation of the cultural revolution that has been foisted upon us.
I’ll take some time, think things out,
This is called analysis paralysis. Men don’t need time to think things out. The employer can’t wait around forever for you to make a decision. Men make decisions, we act on them, we f~~~ up, and because we aren’t women we make adjustments along the way.
Everyone here is right: the women in your family are shaming you because you are a resource to them. They believe that if you move out, some girl will snag you, and then she’ll be draining your resources, not them. They won’t tell you that directly, but they believe this because they are women, and that’s what they did!
What I want does not fit in a career.
Yes it does. You just don’t know what you want you.
I want to become a philanthropist because I really admire them; you need to be a completely different person to be a philanthropist.
A philanthropist is someone who was so bad-ass in their career that they made ultra-wealth, and then decided to give away tons of money to get their name on stuff, like the Rockefellers, the Melons, and Trump. These people were cut-thoat killers (in business) who busted their competitors’ b~~~~ in business. It was only at the end did they become philanthropists. That’s how philanthropy works, so just get that idea out of your head.

If you follow the reasoning of the Skittles analogy and then apply it to what is with the M&M, then for the safety of women, all men must be deported.
Of course, if you view things one way, then you end up bankrupt of all consistency as you go, “See, see! The other side does it!”
If you find the M&M argument insane, why do you find the Skittles one acceptable? Only reason, is that you hold certain views, you will defend hell or high water.
And if you want to talk odds, a woman is more likely to get raped than an individual die in a terrorist attack. It isn’t 1 in 10, but the odds are higher than the odds of getting hurt in a terrorist attack.
In these cases here, it is all playing off the fears of people to get them to go along, no matter how low the odds are.
Actually, you are more likely to die of choking on food than you are from a terrorist attack also.

I never accept the “Manly Pursuits” labels that are Gynocentric propaganda. Rotten parasitic C~~~s always want to cut off my b~~~~ and my sources of strength. The Hive and the fools who are influenced by them can go f~~~ themselves.
The worldwide Gynocentric media has been waging war against all Folk Music Traditions everywhere as a mechanism for Universal Pussification.
Our Great Enemies would have us believe that this wonderful honest music is weak, but it is really a source of great strength.
They would have us abandon our Natural Folk Music and replace it with some form of addiction. Addiction is pussification. But, there are pockets of resistance surviving in spite of their efforts. Many of us still understand the power of our Folk Music Traditions.
Yesterday, I was at a pub where everyone, including myself, was singing along with a Live Folk band playing Irish Rebel Music.
Here is one of the songs:Last weekend, I went to a small House Concert that featured a Harp and Classical Guitar Duo visiting the USA from the UK. They were mostly playing the music of my Ancestors and my own Folk Music Tradition which is still played and enjoyed all over the world by a variety of people. The Guitarist who played that night sounded just like John Renbourn and this Guitarist from the UK was playing the following ancestral Tunes. Also, a man must have serenity in order to fully appreciate this particular type of Folk Music. And Serenity Trumps Addiction:
Having a Folk Music Tradition has given me the ability to interact and enjoy all of the other Folk Music Traditions from other cultures.
Most European American Folk Music Traditions are informal and friendly.
Another example is Cajun Music:
The Folk Music Traditions “South of the Boarder” are also fun:
Wherever I travel, I can find others like myself and make acquaintances even though their Folk music and dance is foreign.
Last year, I enjoyed a variety of Traditional South Asian music. Sri Lankan Folk music was my favorite.

I am yet to meet anyone who’s genuinely racist,
I meet them all the time. Have not met one yet who wasn’t liberal.
If you count that as racism, so yes, there’s plenty of that among low-educated Trump supporters.
But are those Trump supporters really anti-arab? Or are they just against unrestricted immigration and inevitable welfare support of undocumentable unvettable people from unstable third world extremists states that hate us and have a history of terrorism both domestically and abroad?
Because that’s not racism. It’s common f~~~ing sense.
I think people who think that alt-right are racist are saying so because they’re convinced that racism is the basis of his immigration policy and nationalistic stance.
I know that people who accuse the alt-right of racism only do so because they don’t have any actual, logical, supportable responses to his immigration policy etc.
They can’t actually come up with a reason why building a wall is bad, so they call it “racist”. Meanwhile Obama is giving Mexico millions to build a wall on their southern border. When we are already 20 trillion in debt.
Why is Trump’s wall bad but Obama’s wall good?
“Racism” is the rallying cry of losers who have already lost the argument but refuse to admit it. Whenever you see an accusation of racism you can rest assured there’s no actual racism present, because actual racism can be easily argued against with facts and logic. Wild, baseless accusations are unnecessary when dealing with actual racism.
I’d say MGTOW more leans toward anarchist/libertarian than to alt-right anyways
To quote Heinlein:
Political tags – such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and. so forth – are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. The former are idealists acting from highest motives for the greatest good of the greatest number. The latter are surly curmudgeons, suspicious and lacking in altruism. But they are more comfortable neighbors than the other sort.
I would say MGTOW fall into the better neighbors camp.

2016-09-20 at 6:42 PM#307974The question here is about how trump and a bulk of conservative media got duped into pushing the birther question over and over. You have numerous articles on this in drudge. If it is false why did trump and conservative media push it? Answer questions on how they got duped? How could they be so stupid to buy into a conspiracy that was false. They didn’t buy into 9/11 was an inside job, but why Birtherism? The liberal media was screaming for years on how bad it was. They weren’t promoting it. Sites like breitbart did. Alex Jones got into it. How could they be so stupid about it?
Both the media and Trump love one thing – MONEY. Birtherism sold ads and Trump got free publicity for his brand.
I am getting confused as to what the substance of this brand is, if now it is like, “Hillary started it” is what it gets spun into? So Trump promotes a rotten egg and then tries to stick it with someone else? The way things are going, sometime in October, he is going to say the wall was Hillary’s idea, and he just put an end to it.

Considering how much the word “RINO” gets thrown around as a way to discredit those some disagree with, and if the word actually referred to the animal, there would be next to no chance of the animal going extinct.
It is interesting that supporters of Trump would throw this around now. Trump is a candidate that threw out much of the GOP platform in his run. Currently shrinking the government is out. Trump had gone all over the map politically, and gave money to numbers of Democrats over the years also. And then to go off and say those who don’t support Trump are “RINOs” is to stage a coup with the GOP and conduct a purge of it who have been in the party for years. Numbers of NeverTrumpers are far more Republicans than Trump is. Ted Cruz is one, in particular.
Also, what was forgotten here is a a bulk of NeverTrumpers who are hard core conservative, in regards to fiscal policy and shrinking government, who wanted the GOP to have a shot of being able to expand to more of a base than what Trump pulls in. They saw how much Trump is making the GOP go extinct and felt that, if they didn’t speak out, they would be dead politically. The thing is, if Trump loses this election, those who aligned with them, will get purged. And don’t presume for a minute that can’t happen.
But believe whatever you will. Consider the likes of Ted Cruz and Kasich “RINOs”. You can say everyone one of these who contributed to this article are “RINOs” if you like:
https://www.nationalreview.com/nrd/articles/430412/conservatives-against-trumpYou can shape whatever you want the political landscape to damn well whatever you believe. It doesn’t make it reality.
