How did Hillary dupe Trump and conservatives on Obama's birth?

Trump now says that Hillary Clinton is the originator of birtherism. But, for years, you saw that Trump, and a bunch of conservative media ended up implying Obama was not born in the United States, so he wasn’t a U.S citizen.

If Hillary is behind it all, how did she dupe Trump and conservative media to run with it all these years, like someone with a bad case of Stockholm Syndrome?

She is the originator of birtherism. She started it in the ’08 Dem primary via Sidney Blumenthal. See the recent reports of McClatchy media et al actually sending folks to Africa.

You just haven’t heard nearly as much about this as you should since most media are Dem operatives with bylines.

The question here is about how trump and a bulk of conservative media got duped into pushing the birther question over and over. You have numerous articles on this in drudge. If it is false why did trump and conservative media push it? Answer questions on how they got duped? How could they be so stupid to buy into a conspiracy that was false. They didn’t buy into 9/11 was an inside job, but why Birtherism? The liberal media was screaming for years on how bad it was. They weren’t promoting it. Sites like breitbart did. Alex Jones got into it. How could they be so stupid about it?

Blumenthal likely brought up the rumor “People are saying Obama was born in Kenya” to a couple of journalists and they looked into and found it wasn’t true.

Trump is the idiot who believed it (or was promoting his brand) for years.

I am getting confused as to what the substance of this brand is, if now it is like, “Hillary started it” is what it gets spun into? So Trump promotes a rotten egg and then tries to stick it with someone else? The way things are going, sometime in October, he is going to say the wall was Hillary’s idea, and he just put an end to it.

Obama sated in writing on a public document for all to see that he was “born in Kenya.” If we cannot believe the man himself, then who can we believe?

Yes, Hillary’s 2008 election campaign did beat this drum. Yes, the man who sued Obama to release his birth certificate (this was after his election) was a Hillary campaign MVP.

The Hillary campaign were the ones who published those photos of BHO in full up Muslim garb, photos which were taken in Kenya.

Yes, I am forced to believe that Hillary and Co. did honestly believe BHO was really born in Kenya. By the way, his grandmother and other close relatives said so too.

What gun did Hillary hold to trump’s head to continue pushing the birther thing? What record is there of an ongoing pushing if the birther question by Hillary the way there is with trump? Or do you hold that ongoing speculating counts as ending a rumor?
