It would have been better just to be looking at Thelema material or just claim to be part of Thelema rather then explain to her what a mgtow is. There is far less objection to Thelema then mgtow but it is similar in nature (meaning you won’t get f~~~ed at some sexist at work and lose your job yet still adhere to the idea of mgtow if you had to explain it).

If someone asks why are you single just say you practice the religion of Thelema and the religion which commands the followers to adhere to doing their true will in life (basically mgtow).

From what I understand, she requested information on a subject matter you had passion for. You responded in a manner that was respectful and reasonably comprehensive.
She proceeds to go on an impassioned tangent on the subject matter you feel passionate about. You respond in turn with a tone inline with the conversation. She didn’t make an attempt to understand the subject matter or raise concerns but rather went off on you for your ideas and beliefs. By the sounds of this the only one doing the discrimination was the who one attack another person for their beliefs.

2 Hours later I get called into her office. She tells me how she was “brushing up” and reading into MGTOW, and how she found it, and I quote, “absolutely repulsive and sexist”. The second I read that, I gave her a funeral style card saying “Im sorry for your loss” on the front. Inside it said: “Since you can’t recognize the value I provide, maybe your competetion will. Consider this my 2 weeks notice”

I made sure she saw me filling out the application for their competitors on my break, using their computer to do so. She said I could not apply for them on “the clock”, so I asked her to check the time of my lunch break and just smiled as I input the final details of my resume. I also printed a copy of my resume, for the sole purpose of them seeing it being printed, because our printer is in the HR office.

It was about the double standard, I can see this thread has generated much attention, well for those of you thinking its fake, everyone is entitled to an opinion, and since when does age have to do with your writing proficiency? Im 18, yeah, I write well, yeah.

Regardless, this happened to me, I couldve handled it better, and thats it. You can doubt me all you want, but im not here for validation, I was simply sharing an experience as it occured.

Anywho, it was a s~~~ty job, s~~~ty bosses, and no long-term consideration from my part. You may continue to discuss, but understand this did happen.

Thinking the same thing Jim01. Worked with HR a lot in my career, and never had one that said anything close to comments this HR person supposedly made about the MGTOW site.

They may indicate a certain web site is off limits to employees, due to their interpretation of sexism, but to go on and editorialize so boldly about loser men that use that site, something like that would be passing strange.

And we are a sweden-based company and have the option of surfing youtube, and whatnot whilst we wait for inbound calls, that really die down after 5PM due to most of our clients being from a european timezone compared to EST, so I usually browse MGTOW with no issue on “incognito mode”
