The personality and character with which you responded to our accusations does not mesh well with the big badass that you were in your story. Your response to the accusations comes off as defensive and supplicating, despite your claim that you’re not here for validation.

The last day of work at my former, s~~~ty, below-me job I simply cut my shift. I didn’t show up. They all knew I had another job. They all knew I didn’t give a s~~~ about any of them. And I didn’t need the $65 after taxes. I went and saw The Dark Knight instead. Totally f~~~ing worth it, and it was only a 4-hour shift on a Friday night (slowest day of the week after Monday morning).

I didn’t make a grand display. I didn’t tell anybody I made a grand display. I just skipped work because it wasn’t worth it to me to be yelled at by s~~~ty customers and sit there with nothing else to do for half a work day.
