Untamed – would it be correct to reciprocate, and explain my experience with Christianity?
I’m not going to, you are my brother in our understanding of MGTOW, and that’s enough.
I’m not looking for anything, I think. Same to you Untamed, respect.

Anonymous1Indeed Christians have Lost Christmas. Just like the Norse lost Yuletide to the Christians. The Christians have lost out to Consumerism. Christmas has been commercialized and the Coca-Cola company has usurped the Holiday. The only god thats get worshipped this time of year is MONEY.
I will be keeping the day Holy by not buying any useless s~~~ or otherwise obsessing over money. A quiet remembrance of my Ancestry and respecting the traditional Family unit that got us this far as exemplified by the Nativity. Now all has been destroyed, but Merry Christmas. That’s right, no Happy Holidays bulls~~~.
MERRY CHRISTMAS.
This turn of events has been coming for a long time. In the book of Revelations. Nicolaitan doctrines are referenced in Christs’ disapproval of congregational beliefs.
This group referenced was always a mystery to me. The Epistles don’t clearly define this groups beliefs. So in first century congregations the doctrine wasn’t a high priority.
One day it hit me like a ton of bricks. Nicolaitans are people who believe God is Santa Clause. Saint Nick, etc. All are variations of the word Nicolaitan.
God is a giant teddy bear, and inoffensive to everyone. This type of core belief goes hand in hand with the enlightenment era. As well as the enormous increased living standard wrought by the industrial revolution.
Solidity of an internal compass. Is done away with, replaced with pursuit of material gain for the gains sake. If it temporarily feels good it must be good.
Behind the scenes of this type of stuff. Is a very few people, actually pyramid controlling vast amounts of people’s actions.
I’ve got more thoughts on this subject. The haze and communication process hasn’t coalesced yet upstairs.
You bring up very interesting points, Narrow Road Traveler, and I think it has to do with the “great falling away” that Christ mentioned to His Apostles.
I wished you elaborated on Christs’ disapproval of congregational beliefs and complete your thoughts on the Nicolaitans, as the name to describes today’s Xians, “Christians” without Christ. This is a heavy topic. So I didn’t want to miscommunicate critical underpinnings of the thought/heart process.
To help clarify some of the Revelations prophecies. One should understand that the first four chapters of the book. God Son of Man/ Risen Jesus is directly describing 7 archetype congregations under His banner.
He gets directly to heart of what doctrinal errors we’ve exepted. He explains the reward of staying faithful to the Pure Gospel. As opposed to letting ones self be lured away by a false depiction of Jesus. Mostly the the false views are propagated by individuals who want to steal from sincere gospel believers.
The Nicolaitans don’t have a clear analog from within the Bible that I could find. That belief is held by two of the seven archetypal congregations.
It was while I was pondering this problem. When it dawned on me. Oh s~~~, this Santa Clause crap is everywhere. When most of are babies. Santa Clause is in most all MSM and congregations. And is named just by digging at the name. Many internalizations about the nature of Almighty God are heavily cemented by the Saint Nick stuff. Good for thought brothers. God Bless Happy Nativity.

By all means, bro. Your experiences have the same value than mine and I will not suppress your point of view.
I may disagree with what you say but I’ll defend your right to say it.Don't let them Blame, Shame or Tame you!

#GenderSegragationNow!I grew up with Christianity. I’m not moaning. It takes all sorts to make the world go around.

I noticed that a lot of people who were born into a Catholic family end up hating it and working hard to undermine it.
I can understand that as many were literally forced to participate, which pretty much guarantees the outcome.
I noticed less of that in people who grew up Protestant.
I think that Atheism is a form of rebellion that is taken up later in life, I mean for those who grew up in a religious family.
Ultimately, the choice is personal and can hardly be criticised.Don't let them Blame, Shame or Tame you!

#GenderSegragationNow!There’s no athiestic badges, but I reckon I had made my mind up by about 15. I tried to incorperate a number of “spiritual” concepts into my life at that time, until the realisation came that they were all bulls~~~. Was I lost? Yes, I was. But with a bit of time, wisdom came also.

That’s why I call St.Nick, or St.Nicolas as he’s known in Europe, a usurper. That red and white-clad bearded dude is nothing but a blasphemous echo of what the Nativity is all about.
Christ is born and brings gifts with Him, Salvation and the several other spiritual gifts like the gifts of tongues, prophecy, healing, the casting out of demons and the power of forgiveness.
St.Nick only brings a huge bag of stuff but incites the children to be consumers of cheap gifts that pale in comparison.
Christ has been given dominion over our realm when He showed Himself worthy of carrying the sins of the world on His shoulders, thereby proving God’s grace and faithfulness towards all who would believe. He is the literal embodiment of Forgiveness and Goodness, let alone the Word of God.
Again, St.Nick pales in comparison, being known as the jolly good fellow who doesn’t reward naughty children but in whose spirit adults gift each other presents after having been selfish all year.
Thanks for elaborating a bit, n.r.t
I did hear about the Nicolaitans in a sermon but it’s been too long ago.
Thanks for bringing it up!Don't let them Blame, Shame or Tame you!

#GenderSegragationNow!Not so here Untamed. Church of England ruled and still rules here.

Yeah, and Santa Claus really has nothing to do with the historical St. Nicholaus either. Santa Claus as we know him today was Coca-Cola’s version of Father Christmas.
Father Christmas in turn was a take on the old God Wotan or Odin. According to the Legend Wotan would ride his horse and lead a Ghostly Hunt across the sky. Like Santa and his Reindeer. Its just a misappropriated misappropriation that got used as a Corporate Mascot so that you can “Enjoy Coca-Cola.”
Hehe, Red and White are also the colors of the Coca-Cola label. Father Christmas used to wear a green coat, but that was changed to match the Coca-Cola label.

And, according to the Bible, they will be held to higher standards of accountability, just like Moses who was punished by not being able to thread on the promised land for doubting God, those who pretend to be shepherds but use the position for their own gain will have a lot more to answer to than any mere Christian sinner will.

It’s so f~~~ed up that I have trouble keeping the chronology of what was changed, what was copied or reappropriated, when and by whom.

Anonymous14I’m not a Pagan mate, but I do like history. Xmas is the winter solstice and easter is the spring equinox. What exactly have eggs and bunnies to do with Jesus?
Many religions that came long before Christianity have gods born on the 25 of December. Horus, Mithra, Chrishna, Buddha, Osiris, and many more were born on the 25th of December. So, there seems to be an extremely long running theme of giving a winter solstice birthdate to Gods, because the list is long and there is zero chance of it being coincidence, and therefore all are likely not based on anything resembling a fact.
Christmas to me has always represented religion whored out for the sake of Consumerism. I have always despised it and have often wondered if this Christ guy were alive today and the real deal if he would have the same feelings as I do about it.

There is no doubt in my mind, that Jesus Christ would be shocked and appalled at the typical American Christmas. Anyways, since Jesus was Jewish he would have probably only celebrated the Jewish Holidays like Passover.

Jesus Messiah of Nazareth was most likely born in September. The Roman Catholic Church 1400 years ago wanted a kinder more inclusive Jesus. They put His birthday wherever pagans had their own most high holy day.

Jesus wasn’t even born on December. It was a date chosen by a Roman emperor as to ease Christianity in alongside one of their pagan holidays.
Scripture tells us that, “Mary gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped Him in cloths and placed Him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them. And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night” (Luke 2:7-8). But shepherds were not in the fields during December. Luke’s account suggests that Jesus may have been born in summer or early fall. In December, Judea is cold and rainy, so it is likely the shepherds would have sought shelter for their flocks at night. The weather would not have permitted shepherds watching over their flocks in the field at night.
Also, Jesus’ parents came back to Bethlehem to register for the census. The census or enrollment which according to Luke 2:1 was the occasion of the journey of Joseph and Mary to Bethlehem where Jesus was born, is connected with a decree of Augustus, embracing the Greek-Roman world. Luke carefully distinguishes the census at the time of Jesus’ birth as “first,” in a series of enrollments connected wither with Quirinius or with the imperial policy inaugurated by the decree of Augustus. Because temperatures often dropped below freezing and roads were in poor conditions, the census was not taken in winter. This time of year didn’t permit it.
Also, there are no evidence that Horus, Mithra, Chrishna, Buddha and Osiris were born on December, none whatsoever besides the word of a popular documentary with a cool name.Don't let them Blame, Shame or Tame you!
