Christians Lost Christmas !

That’s right gents, and the Grinch didn’t have a thing to do with it.
That’s what Dublin-based priest Father Desmond O’Donnell said, arguing that believers should use the word “Nativity” instead of “Christmas” from now on because the latter has lost all its meaning to commercialization.
“We’ve lost Christmas, just like we lost Easter, and we should abandon the word completely,” Father O’Donnel stated, adding that “we need to let it go, it’s already been hijacked and we just need to recognize and accept that.”
He then clarified his statement with:
“I am not seeking to take anything away from anyone, I am simply asking that space be preserved for believers for whom Christmas has nothing to do with Santa and reindeer,”
O’Donnell’s comments come after the popular British bakery Greggs was forced to apologize after replacing baby Jesus with a sausage roll in a picture promoting its new advent calendar.

Christmas has long become a secular holiday where the usurper Santa and his reindeers bring all sort of goods and merchandise to good behaved children… and runs over grandma with a reindeer on her way over on Christmas Eve…

I’m surprised that this missive to abandon the word “Christmas” wasn’t already given a couple of decades ago, when it was clear that anything even remotely touching on Christianity wasn’t welcome to an ever-increasing secular society (so-called) and where having a Bible on your work desk was tantamount to conducting an Inquisition on an employer’s premises.
Christians have known for a long time now that Christmas was being used for the commercialization of products and services to a consumers society, which is blasphemous and irreverencial to the occasion while for most everybody else it’s mainly a kids’ affairs or an occasion for a family reunion that they know will turn into a tug-of-war between the most manipulative family members.

Growing up with a Muslim father and a Christian mother, I was completely aware of the meaning of Christmas even though we weren’t allowed to celebrate it in a Christian fashion, but my father always stressed the importance of recognising what it means for Christians and Santa had, rightfully so, no place in the discussion.

I’ve been a Christian for my entire adult life now and I can only agree with Father O’Donnel. It’s high time Christians gave up the use of the word “Christmas” in favor of one that hasn’t yet been corrupted, used and abused.
So from now on I will call this “holiday season” the Nativity, a period of the year when Christians celebrate the birth of Yeshuah, the Savior while secular folks decide to give each other gifts for no apparent reason whatsoever besides the fact that international and multinational corporations want them to spend money and the Mass Media invite them to do so with TV programs and commercials they seemingly can’t ignore.

So on Dec.25 I’ll be wishing a merry Nativity to my Christian brothers and a merry Xmas to all the others.

I just enrolled in a few classes to keep my edge over the competition and, beside the heavy Blue-Pill conditioning, they keep me busy with important updates on today’s Blue-Pill work environment.
Thank God there are only two c~~~s in the class, the others are men, a mix of deluded simps and purplepillers. Same for the professors, all men except a couple of c~~~s whom I’ll have to be diplomatic and sharp with.
