Anonymous0As to the recent Texas church shooting, I think it isnt a relgious vs non relgious motive as far as I can tell. However I have only heard about it so take this with a grain or shaker of salt. Which ever you prefer.
So basically, I know nothing about it but I’m going to make an opinion? Yeah I’m sure religion had nothing to do with it, lets just ignore the fact that he had lots of anti-Christian posts on facebook to the point were people befriended him because that’s all he would do..
Did you even read the connections in my post as to why this guy would likley target a church? Or the entirity of what I said? The point is these types of killings are promoted in the media causing them to be all more common. Facebook is full of idiots that post anything radical just beacuse it makes them “cool”.
And I do not know nothing of it, I have heard about it and glanced at a newspaper article. That is not nothing.
One incident is not a war.
So I ask brothers on here in other countries than the USA: Is TV worship and culture as fanatical and toxic in your home nation?
On a par or probably worse, in the UK and Ireland. Take the two recent adventures in Iraq and Afghanistan.
When I was at home I’d see reports of bombs and atrocities, but the footage won’t show what high explosive does to a human being. Some idiot in PPE pretending he was in real danger after the fact, reporting what happened while the last bit of tidying up is being done at the scene. “200 dead in market bombing” picture that in your head. What force is needed to snuff out 200 human souls? What would that look like? You’ll never know on our media, “Now over to Johnny Wankstain, our Hollywood correspondent. Johnny, what’s the latest on the Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie break up….?”. What sort of f~~~ed up world puts those two events on a par as “news”?
When I was over there I’d watch the local news and the pan-Islamic news stations. I didn’t understand the language, but I didnt need to. The first was horrific, people picking pieces of bodies up, decapitated heads, children blown into pink mist. Screaming of the wounded, those in shock, smoke, fire, its like a vision of hell. It was shocking. The wider Arabic channels was less in your face but still showed images that would have old grannies in Hertfordshire fainting in front of the TV.
The news they were getting is different to ours, exact same events. If CNN/BBC showed the physical reality of modern conflict then support for it would dry up pretty damn quick.
There’s more than religious extremism at work when we see chanting mobs of Muslims on the streets burning US flags. Watch their TV news.

Thats my point. Also that the a large contributing factor is the glorification by the media such any large killing gets.
Damn thats messed up, imagery is powerful. I would have guessed the first response to my question to have said the USAs TV culture is the worst. Its is all so desensitising.
Its what our huggy feely secular society does. Bomb the mud people, rile them up, but keep the plebs at home stupefied with The Spectacle. Don’t show what a drone attack, or a car bomb does to living breathing fellow humans. Here’s the new iPhone, five ways to make your bathroom smell nicer. Celebrity dancing shows. Feminist ‘problems’. Dumber and dumber until I don’t know what? What’s next?
No, back to basics, if that means ditching two hundred years of technological progress then so be it. Edged weapons mean fewer casualties anyway. Good exercise too. That’s two hundred years progress for us remember, not Abdul in S~~~cakestan, but now he wants a slice of Apple Incorporated and that liberated white pussy too.
We bomb them, they come here with no knowledge of democracy, civil rights, or feminism. That’s just genius. The centre can’t hold, it all will collapse if things don’t change. I think its past that, the watershed has been reached.

I agree, the consequences of the actions are coming full circle. In all the effort in the creation of The Spectatcle the establishment has rotted its core population disconnecting it from reality.
Also with the introduction of the people the establihment has made war upon to its native populace, the war torn jackles eat away at the rotten core. It is a house built upon sand.
Water is the giver of life, what better way to kill an opponent than to cut of his natural resources to life? The lack of moderen convieneces and technology does not make people imferior or stupid.
Somewhere that new iphones value peaked above human life.
The basics are the core of survival. The basics forged the way for the rise of the age and can forge the way to a better tommorow when the house of cards collapses inward. I believe in a brighter future.
History is more cyclical than linear in my opinion. Some people were crying “the end of history” not so long ago. Since then we’ve had terrorist attacks that make the IRA look like boy scouts. The hubris to even declare that history was finished, that we’d reached some post modernist Utopia.
People didn’t fly planes into buildings deliberately back in the bad old days.
As progress and technology grows to benefit a luxuriant minority two things have happened in utopia – the mollycoddled have started creating problems where there aren’t any – feminists being the prime example. Secondly, those have nots have gotten more vicious towards us in their attacks on us.
Sound familiar? The Romans thought they were impregnable. Where are they now? The Chinese dynasties – wiped out by barbarians on horseback. Cyclical. How are we different? Because we have WiFi and #MeToo ? You are right, we are a decadent society built on a house of cards.
We are so far removed from the natural way of things that if the electric went off for 48 hours our whole system could collapse within the same time frame. At least the Romans had time to run out of steam and get sacked and then split in two.
Ozymandias
BY PERCY BYSSHE SHELLEYI met a traveller from an antique land,
Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal, these words appear:
My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.”
Anonymous0So damn true. You write things I have said myself. Those that fail to study history and learn from it are doomed to repeat it.
I have not read any of Shellys poems. Thanks for sharing that. It wonderfully illustrates the point.
I have obserbed the same weakness for electricity. I normaly say that TV is the opiate of the masses, however I should say that of electricity.
I agree that tv is the synagogue of those who say they are Jews but are not. (SJW)
revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
revelation 2:9 “I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
Freedom is the right to create your own choices without influence from others. I was recently Kick out of a church for pulling my fathers identity document out and calling him my heavenly father because I felt I had every right to believe my earthly father went to heaven. He was the one who provided for me and protected me when I was young and in spirit guides me now. I am thinking of staging a graveside vigil from thanksgiving through Christmas and claim my right to choose the heavenly spirit that does the lords work for me specifically as this would not infringe on anyone’s right to their own religious or spiritual beliefs.
If Christians like myself wish to avoid this kind of social backlash we should get control of our media not our government.
The internet does not limit my opinions to only those choices others create for me. I have creative control of my own opinions. Those who cannot think for themselves need to be protected from the lies that tv knowingly and willfully spouts out. tv does it just to create a victim mentality. I have not owned a tv in ten years.
My heavenly father Winston McKinney once told me “son, when you are presented choices make a presumption that every choice that you did not create for yourself is a wrong choice” Having more choices will not give us more freedoms, but choosing to do good works will.
Those faithfully attending state created 501c3tax exempted corporate buildings every Sunday will make themselves easy prey for those who per-sieve themselves victims of a white male Christian run society. I have a church that congregates in spirit everyday not just sunday, and it was created by a marriage to jesus like the bible says a church is created.
Taking the last name of my husband my married name is Bob Christ who’s heavenly father Winston McKinney’s spirit has most assuredly risen in. The dead in Christ shall rise.
If every church is a state created corporation 501c3 status making it so, then there is no separation from church and state and they really are not churches at all but corporate charities for the benefit of the public not the private. Every corporation is created by the state and what the state creates logic says Jesus could not have created it.
If a preacher or pastor escorts anyone out of a church they are escorting that persons god out with them. They are being very disrespectful and could be contributing to someones feelings of victimization.
After being escorted out of the church I was within 15 minutes arrested had $1500 taken along with a chevy s10 automobile and jailed. This all happened in an area I have worked in for years and considered the bible belt. I love that area and the people are the salt of the earth in heavenly Haskell county Oklahoma. It would be easy for me to feel victimized had my fathers spirit not been guiding me.
The officer asked “who’s truck is this?” I replied “I am doing the lord”s work it belongs to god.” He would here no more of my truth and jailed me. after I was released the impound would not let me have the truck until it was in compliance IE: tagged and insured in Oklahoma even though I have a Texas license and a home in Texas. I picked up insurance and registered the truck in my fathers name so when my court date came up I could argue that my statements were true because the truck belongs to a man who’s flesh is in a Fort Smith
Arkansas National Cemetery who I consider my heavenly father, simple because he could only be in heaven.
I suspect The preacher who Kicked me out of church called the civil authorities. If so he is a religious Bigot who believes only those who accept his beliefs may attend his place of worship.
Consider the words of wise men from our past concerning freedom of beliefs.
The works of John Wesley, vol 8
Condemn no man for not thinking as you think.
Let every man enjoy the full liberty of thinking for himself.
Let every man use his own judgement, since every man must give an account of himself to God.
Abhor every approach in any kind or degree, to the spirit of persecution.
If you cannot reason or persuade a man into the truth, never attempt to force him into it.
If LOVE will not compel him to come, leave him to god, the judge of all.Benjamin Franklin said
” When A religion is good, I conceive that it will support itself and when it cannot support itself and God does not take care to support it, so that its professors are obliged to call for the help of the civil power it is a sign, I apprehend, of it being a bad one.My own tribulations bring me to this conclusion
Humans tend to cling to their beliefs and when the beliefs of another run counter to theirs instead of being open minded they become confused and even hostile. In 1865 Sir James Mackintosh wrote these words:
“the doctrine which, from the very first origins of religious dissensions, has been held by all BIGOTS of all religious sects, when condensed into a few words and stripped of rhetorical disguise, is simply this: I am in the right and you are in the wrong and when you are the stronger you ought to tolerate me because it is your duty to tolerate the truth, but when I am the stronger I shall persecute you for it is my duty to persecute error.I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.
Did you even read the connections in my post as to why this guy would likley target a church? Or the entirity of what I said? The point is these types of killings are promoted in the media causing them to be all more common. Facebook is full of idiots that post anything radical just beacuse it makes them “cool”.
But that just proves the point that Atheism is at play. Only those who have no moral structure would be convinced to take suggestions to shoot up a church from a post on Facebook, or would be he ones posting on Facebook that doing so is “cool”. Not all Atheists are that way, I know lots of Atheists that are extremely moral and have high virtue. But they are the exception, not the rule. And they would be the first to admit they are the exception not the rule because they obey the rules of logic (one of their virtues) and to attempt to argue that the exception is the rule would make them logically illiterate.

Or the guy could have chosen to kill folks of a different sect or entire religion he felt were against his own beliefs and morals or lack of. Hypothetically.
I know not all athests are that way. I know good folks on both sides of the issue of faith. I am in no way participating in the athests vs religious arguments.
Regarded, you guys have mentioned every horror in the last 2000 years and everyone of them is associated with religion, in religious countries, by religious people and somehow you blame atheists who basically don’t even count as a demographic.
Its dumb c~~~s like chu, surf, ontrue etc that are the problem.

This was some f~~~ed up asshole with family problems looking on the internet for stuff to use against his christian mother in law.
The important words there are “mother in law”.
All this could have been prevented if that asshole had Gone His Own Way five years ago instead of f~~~ing up and getting married and becoming an asshole.
MGTOW save lives. It could have saved those lives.

Agreed, I don’t see this as an act of terrorism, more of a punishment/revenge thing. I have little doubt that if his mother-in-law was into Jazzercise, he would have shot up the studio instead of the church.

Firmly disagree. From what I’ve read (which is not much, admittedly), this guy had mental issues. Marriage certainly didn’t help his situation, but the guy would have been a messed up powder keg if he was married as well.
The only way MGTOW saves lives in this case is if it were so common place that men chose to avoid women without having any rational reason to do, just to be part of the crowd.
Ok. Then do it.
the guy would have been a messed up powder keg if he was married as well.
But he was married.
Clearly he had issues. Among other things, I strongly suspect he was raised by a single mother. But marriage only gave him a target for those issues. It certainly didn’t help him in any way.
But what if he’d come here instead of getting married?
My feeds link mainly to Christianity sites and some Muslim, I don’t view atheist material on line or communicate with atheists; no need . never heard a word by Dawkins, not interested in him, all I know about famous atheists and what atheists are is what Christians tell me.
Your bonehead analysis would conclude I am a christian.
Back a few posts, your cherry picking interpretation of scripture is bizarre as it is inconsistent.
Sorry, meant to say WASN’T married. Point is, it’s pure speculation on whether someone who clearly has some mental instability could become stable/non-violent/whatever if exposed to MGOTW principles, raised in a stable home, etc.
There are far too many clear cut cases where MGTOW could have saved lives to need to use this as an example. In the hypothetical situation of giving this guy mental health treatment or giving him MGTOW, I’m going with mental health treatment.
Ok. Then do it.
pure speculation
Not entirely. But I did say “could” not “would”.
Regardless, though, we can clearly see how marriage helped the situation: not at all.
In the hypothetical situation of giving this guy mental health treatment or giving him MGTOW, I’m going with mental health treatment.
But the two aren’t exclusive. Had he come here he would have been advised to seek mental health, among other things. And been helped to find one of the good ones out of a sea of charlatans.
A lot of young men come here with anger management issues, and I have to say the forums help them deal with that far better than most.
I think we can all guess how wifey and mommy-in-law dealt with the situation.

Anonymous12how about this:
war…christians versus atheists…
i hope we win.
bwaahahahThis crime is horrific and any human being should be disgusted by it.
Not really as s~~~ just tends to happen as that is a way of life.
If someone decides to do something it is gonna happen and it does not matter what decade or time period it is (school shootings began far before the 90’s, people have been killing each other in the name of God for thousands of years and all sorts of murders are common place in history).
So while i do think children should not have died (especially as they had no chance to live) i just have to accept that alot of s~~~ is part of reality and life just happens.
Does the Old Testament justify killing in the name of Christ? NO
Loaded question as the old testament does actually justify killing but the character of Christ is not in the old testament (sure as an upcoming messiah but the people of the day killed for Yahweh instead which is the supposed God of Christ)
The people killed in the name of Yahweh or Jehovah not for Christ (or any other of the 7 terms for God in Judaism).
I already see that someone stated on this topic, “But Islam” yes Islam does teach violence! Ding! Ding! Ding! We got a winner. So stop with the “All religions lead to violence” s~~~ and focus to the real issue. “ISLAM TEACHES VIOLENCE”
Islam does teach violence but Christianity is no exception to it and you cannot just use the no true scottsman fallacy to get yourself out of it (non Catholic Christians have killed in the name of God plenty of times).
Just an east coast asshole who likes to curse, If you get offended by words like fuck, cunt, shit, piss, bitch or any racial slurs then you just scroll down.
