Look, this incident is very ironic indeed concerning the recent topics posted on here and that is why I started this one.

This crime is horrific and any human being should be disgusted by it.

What I am sick of is the false argument that Atheist continue to spout and will continue to that “all ‘religion’ does is start wars or lead to violence or death”.

There are at least a couple logical fallacies in that statement.

1. Christianity does not promote violence.

Rom 12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
Rom 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Rom 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

And from the Lord Himself:

Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

2. Atheism is a religion itself!

Does the act of one individual represent the group as a whole? No

Because Islam teaches violence does that mean that all other religions do? No

Do the Crusades or does a sect who claims to a certain religion represent the whole group? No (Catholics aren’t even true Christians by the way according to Scripture.)

Does the Old Testament justify killing in the name of Christ? NO

So I wanted to start this topic, once again in hopes to get it through Atheist’s heads to learn that “All religion does is cause violence” is a stupid f~~~ing false statement to try and justify Atheism and make it look good and make it seem as if it is not a religion which is a lie and smear other religions, mostly Christianity which is what Atheists really despise.

I already see that someone stated on this topic, “But Islam” yes Islam does teach violence! Ding! Ding! Ding! We got a winner. So stop with the “All religions lead to violence” s~~~ and focus to the real issue. “ISLAM TEACHES VIOLENCE”

Let’s say that you were completely correct.

What do you see as the solution to this? Meaning, how can anyone impose a belief structure on anyone else?

You’re a Christian. You love God. Maybe your Faith brings you fulfillment and purpose. Myriad of other things. It answers questions that are important to you. Perhaps you want to share this with others.

But how can anyone force their belief structure onto those who choose not to believe. Would that not violate their free will?

Meaning, if you see atheism as the problem. What do you think is a possible solution?
