Most of the things taught in church happened 2000 years ago and has hardly been updated.
If the church were for real then they would talk about the dangers of today.
They would speak about people losing their lives to chemically contaminated homes…
I almost died and got sick from a danger I did not find in the bible.
Yes, talking about big companies making huge profits on selling highly toxic wood preservatives for use in “inhabited spaces” (!) is not advertiser friendly.

I have a very unipue way of how i view god and jesus .
I beleave everybody should have there own interpretation of the bible in an individual way and not in a mass way like a church .
MAYBE THIS COULD BECOME UNIQUE TO MGTOW .

The point of my life is for it to be a good one, a decent one.
The ten commandments could possibly be a decent basic guide.
I am sure were i to dig out Books other than religion i would find more decent guides.But my childhood teachers of those commandments, what Gargamel describes as No church will ever tell you about truths and wake you up to the flaws of our system. have turned me away by showing me they have two faces and hide dark truths that go against their own teachings.
So i no longer listen to them, what’s more i take a negative stance against these Churches – wishing for their power to vane away.
But as a mortal, i cannot change the Church just as little as i can not change the Matrix itself.
So i unplugged. Walked away.They can no longer shackle me to their teachings and i am free to connect to any other man and his spirituality, should i ever be curious about it.
Whoever doesn’t like a particular subject matter, all they need to do is ignore and scroll on.
Anybody who is attracted to the subject matter to derail, pre-empt or disrupt the discussion, is attempting to censor what they see as heresy.
The tire fire happens because someone wants there to be a tire fire, in order to prevent discussion.
If you don’t like it, don’t involve yourself in it and there will be no tire fire.
I think most men here don’t have an issue with discussions on any subject.
Personally, I find discussions on American politics to be tedious and will generally just skip over them, but I accept that a high percentage of men here are American and it is important to them. Occasionally, there may be something that is interesting, perhaps about liberal double-standards, and might read in further detail.
I think most men do the same when seeing posts on subjects that are of little interest.
As with any group of men, there are disagreements, which often generates interesting, and usually respectful, discussion. Problems occur when opinions are stated as irrefutable facts and any disagreement is met with personal insults.
For example, if I were to state that the only proper football is what most Americans would call soccer, and that American Football is just rugby played by men in body armour, and that anyone who disagrees with me is a feminist-loving mangina who doesn’t understand MGTOW, I would not expect that to go down very well with anyone whether they like American Football or not.
It is not the subject matter (American Football) that would cause MGTower to bring out the tire fires, it is the lack of respect for those who may hold a different view. It would be obvious that the intent was not to discuss American Football but to cause discord, and that is unacceptable.
(By the way, I quite like American Football).
Religion is very important to a great number of MGTOW, and should be discussed as it is a big part of the life and support mechanism for those MGTOW, and as long as normal levels of respect for other MGTOW are maintained there won’t be any significant issues.
That said it is also worth noting:

This is what we totally agree on. And it is not limited to any religion or faith.
It is worldwide and I think it is magic that all men here come to the same conclusions and go though the same hell regardless of faith and origin.

I am not upset, I actually would like to see more critical and analytical thinking being posted about all religions.
Religion is part of our blue pill programming and we truly must get over it.
Being MGTOW will bring you into confrontation with almost all religious belief systems. Almost all of them want you to get married and play the game.
This is not a thread on religion, it is about keeping the brotherhood together and not lose our s~~~ over small differences.
It’s about the higher goal of getting men to realize reality and stay away from what will ruin us.
I would post the same if we had constant fights over the car you drive of the sport you participate in. But that is private matter.

The main problem with threads on religion is that we tend to have been around long enough to have a clear idea what we believe about God and releigion
So if we are religious we tend to be uncompromising and if we are Atheist we tend to be uncompromising.
I don’t contribute to religious threads for thst very reason. But it matters not a hoot to me what other members believe. They are entitled to their belief and it’s as valid as the next person’s.I know that to engage in debate and offer a different perspective is highly unlikely to alter another member’s perspective. But on top of that I have no interest whatsoever in trying to do so.
Religious believe – or lack of- is often a deeply held believe which can’t possibly be overturned in a post on a forum. Who wants to anyway.

I don’t know why all the down riding of belief in cats as “the” divine being in this thread. I judge my god by how good he makes me feel.
I worship the god that brings up feelings of warmth, love and wonder at these divine beings.

I would say that discussion, so long as it does not devolve into something divisive. Can lead to learning. Be productive.
Faith is difficult to argue or debate, as it is something personal. Everyone has their own set of beliefs. But I do enjoy reading what others write, as it can sometimes inspire much deeper thought and inquiry.
