a) Jet fuel is similar to Kerosene, highly explosive certainly but able to melt steel? No way, and most of it burned off in the initial explosion.
The jet fuel didn’t have to melt them. Once the jets hit them the impact was enough to move some of the support beams, and steel weakens as you heat it. You now had weakened steel carrying loads at angles it was not designed to and we all know what happened after that.
b) How many burning building pancake? I can only think of two–the towers. Plenty of tall building caught fire yet none others seem to do this? And if this sort of thing occurred naturally why does it take demolition crews hours of work to produce the same effect.
Can you find any other examples of burning sky scrapers that also got smacked by a jet or some other tremendous force strong enough to move support beams before the burning began?
Besides if you watch the footage of the towers collapsing they initially collapse from where they got hit up, and its that tremendous amount of weight with momentum behind it that pancakes everything below it. If those pilots hit the exact floors that were laced with explosives so they’d start to collapse in the right spot, those were some pretty badass pilots.
c) Follow the money and the power—who wer the winners and losers? The government ended up giving itself vast unconstitutional power as a result and as a door prize was handed an excuse to go to war with Iraq–again. For the government it was a two-fer.
Iraq was because of WMD’s…we knew Hussein wasn’t a radical Muslim and he kept that s~~~ out of his country, and it was the radical Muslims who were blamed for 9/11. We wouldn’t have ever heard the WMD excuse if 9/11 was the excuse for Iraq.
d) Only about a third of the normal amount of people that would have been present were there—all the high power big shots were strangely absent—can you say tipped off.
Wondering if you can back this up. I’ve never heard this one, and with minimal research I came up with…
“The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) estimated that about 17,400 civilians were in the World Trade Center complex at the time of the attacks. Turnstile counts from the Port Authority suggest 14,154 people were typically in the Twin Towers by 8:45 a.m. Most people below the impact zone safely evacuated the buildings.”
I found figures that suggested bigger numbers went there over the course of a day…but they all obviously didn’t pack in at the same time, work the same hours, and leave at the same time. Maybe some big wigs weren’t there as well…but if you look at a 15,000 person sample size I’m sure quite a few were on vacation, called in sick, had a scheduled day off as not everyone works mon-fri schedules, was scheduled to come in later in the day, worked out of more than one office, or was away for some sort of conference as that isn’t atypical of upper management types…I bet you had a ton of low level employees who worked out of the towers who just happened to be lucky and not be there on that day at that time as well.
e) box cutters as a lethal weapon? Not in this life time without a lucky shot. Yes it can grievously injure but two guys armed with these held off the crew and passangers of the Penn. plane. Not buying it.
Well it was 4 of them…and after initially taking control of the plane they claimed to have a bomb on it. Once passengers heard about the other planes going down and tried to fight back because they realize they were f~~~ed if they did nothing. All the terrorists had to do was turn it into the ground…sure they didn’t hit their target but they wanted to die that day anyhow and still took a plane full of people with them.
If you could walk to the front of a diving plane with all that g-force pushing you back and 4 assholes slashing knives at you just to get into the c~~~pit of a plane you have no clue how to fly and straighten it out all before hitting the ground you are a better man than I, because I know I couldn’t do it.
Plus there was only 40 people on that flight. How many do you think were fit men that could really do anything even if they wanted to, maybe 10 of them? 10 on 4 when you have to fight in a narrow walkway and the 4 have knives isn’t exactly an easy fight for the passengers. They weren’t using those little box cutters that only slide out 1/4 of an inch either, they were using the breakaway ones that you can slide out 4+ inches, and they didn’t have to be lethal…they just had to make some nasty bloody cuts to make people panic.
