It’s 10f. and WINDY, I watched “the MARTIAN” with Mat Damon. I can really relate to his predicament in a political way, the disconnect is just as real as being on mars when it comes to being legally enslaved no matter how soft or hard the political machinery, a mans rights are trapped in outer space and they’re not sending any missions to get them home!

Plus outside is about as comfortable as Mars, I like it here in my warm Mars capsule deep in the forest, I like going days without seeing any people. I can’t imagine living with a woman and having no isolation capsule of your own! SUICIDE!

I’m spoiled when it comes to utter privacy, to think a woman can move in and evict the man with one phone call is a risk I’m not willing to take!

I’m Happy on Mars and they can keep Earth to themselves!

Even though I spent most of this morning shoveling about 850,000 tons of sunshine off my driveway. There are so many days out of the year when you are so much better off in the forest. You’re welcome to come down into the sunshine anytime you want. I’m sure Pistol Pete the rest of the Gang would love to host you during the winter but I understand the whole idea of having that nest. Nobody can come into that space. My whole house is like that it’s an entire man cave complete with beer cans and dirty dishes just because we can. Like you said one phone call does it all

My weekend is on Thursday and Friday, so right now I’m back at work.

But I had a great Thursday and Friday. I drove way north to a small inn in a tiny town on the shore of Lake Michigan. It’s so quiet there. I go there for the quiet. This is my third time going to this inn. When I stop at the inn, open the door to my car and then step outside, all I can hear is….

Just the way I like it.

I spent all day Friday hiking the shoreline and inland forest of Sleeping Bear Dunes Wilderness Area. There was not another person in the park. Time out there heals my city-weary soul.

The inn manager told me about two new micro brew pubs in other small towns not too far away. The first pub I hit was full of poser douchebags, but the beer and food were very good. The second micro brewery was in a really small town and was packed with the sounds of happy people who know and like each other. Do you know that sound? I instantly felt at home in there. Within a few minutes, an older couple and long-time residents of the town sort of adopted me, bought my beer and regaled me with stories from life in that little town.

Before returning to my inn for the night, I walked down the silent streets of Empire, Michigan, and down to the lake’s edge. There I watched the sliver of a moon cast the most beautiful shimmer of silver over the lake and surf. Overhead were stars galore, the stars I don’t get to see while living farther south in the city.

Yep. Had a great weekend. Hope you guys have one just as good.

My well is tapped into it’s own billion gallon aquifer, the water testes better than anything in a bottle (EVERYONE AGREES) I can’t drink nasty dirty water like everywhere else! Florida=chloride/swamp (no thanks Pistol Pete)
Utah/Colorado=liquefied rocks
Vermont=Calcium and slate.
Municipal water is the worst! Chloride/fluoride/rust/lead/u-name-it

I bring my own 5gal jugs with me to VT for drinking water.

My well is artisan and drilled into granite bedrock, my water hasn’t seen the light of day since dinosaurs roamed the earth! So my Mars Capsule has two redeeming qualities, it’s entirely dominated by a man (me) and it’s plugged into an aquifer worth millions to any desert community.

Real estate on this Mars is priceless!

Been to those dunes a few times myself. Always liked the little town of Frankfort. Fun place in the summer too.

Sounds like a kind of bliss. C~~~y events had me laugh out loud.

I saw my daughter tonight, we got a takeaway. We talked about how when I get back on my feet I’m buying and selling motors again, wheeler dealing. She got my car and bike obsession. I forbid her bikes. Do as I say not as I do. She can’t wait until I have a new garage and I teach her how to mig weld and respray a car.

My weekends, are generally peaceful and quiet.

I make plans and dream.

slept in until 10 or 11. did dishes, took out trash, watched online tv, watched some webcam not liking what I saw, moved on. got a pile of quarters, went to fail mart in Oklahoma, blew up some tanks, derped some warships with my bro, had Chinese food, played cribbage on the phone, thought about going to work, nope, tomorrow fer sure.

Slept in until about 5:45. Did some chores, while listening to hits (on my cassette player) from the 40s (Woodchopper’s Ball, Take The A Train, and Pennsylvania 6-500 kick ass). Took one of my classic musclecars to a local weekly car show. Afterwards, ran a few errands (in the musclecar) and stopped by to check on parents. Then played a round of golf. Came home, and grabbed another musclecar, and ran a few more errands. Routine errand are so much more fun when you’re cruising around in vintage American muscle – big, bold, and brash. Did some yard work (lawn’s looking t~~~-on-a-ritz), sketched out tomorrow’s agenda, and am now reading MGTOW posts whilst watching some Mythbusters reruns and doppler radar. Did some prime rib and hamburgers the other night, so may likely do some tacos and spaghetti tonight or tomorrow (with the mandatory garlic bread). Weather-permitting tomorrow, I may wrench on some other cars – out of recreation, not out of necessity, nor because some woman claimed, “I wasn’t doing anything when it started making that noise.”

I have my children this weekend. It’s been raining so we stayed in our pajamas all day (we call these days pajama days and they are always relaxing and full of fun). We played indoor soccer, basketball and dodge ball (impossibility at their mom’s house -she would freak the f~~~ out). I made us a great breakfast, lunch and dinner. In between we discussed a book I am reading,”The Art of war – Spirituality for Conflict”.

The children are only 8 years old and I am sure they don’t fully grasp the concepts but I really don’t give a f~~~. My ex would have endlessly criticized me and dampened the conversation. I discussed the concepts in terms they could relate to. It is priceless to have uninterrupted dad time with my children. I never had quality time with the children with the ex around. She.always had to try to control everyone and everything.

If it stops raining, tomorrow we may go for a hike in the Redwoods or the local park so the kids can run around.

Whatever we do it will be c~~~ free; relaxing, fun, spontaneous with no drama.

Had company over last night, slept like a king with her, banged it out with the help of my Trojan brother this a.m., went Butterfly Knife shopping with my godson this afternoon, took a nap, chilled for the most part today, and drinking a Heineken as I type this. Yo Joller! I changed a glass windshield in a horrible HINO trucks. I had to boot f~~~ the glass out. Kick, kick, KICK, boot f~~~ this glass out! Shards everywhere.

Trapper, if you make it back to Frankort, make sure you stop in at Stormcloud brewing. Their Imperial IPA was fantastic. Even better, stop in at Lake Ann Brewing for an even better time.

One reason I keep going back up that way is because I’m scouting the area as a possible place to move to. Not sure I could handle the tourists in the summer though.
