I actually really liked the film and bought it because Best Buy has a friggin’ sweet Kylo Ren steel book case, but anytime I watch it I still find myself saying “Shut up, Rey” for nearly every line she says. I don’t WANT to dislike her character, but the fact that she knows EVERYTHING and the whole “stop taking my hand” line when Finn is trying to keep her safe REALLY annoys me. Reminds me of those chicks that they’re too good for anyone (meaning pretty much any chick).
I do like the male characters (Poe being my favorite hero here and I really love the whole First Order as a whole, like Kylo/Hux/Snoke), but it seems like Rey HAS to outsmart/outdo EVERY any of these dudes she encounters SOMEHOW or another.
What’s next, is she going to defeat Luke in a sparring match on her first try in Episode VIII?
I blew two bucks to rent it. It wasn’t that bad although Mary Sue Rey did get on my nerves.
Shiny did a spot-on satire of it in this thread: /forums/topic/star-wars-epvii-the-force-awakens-review-spoilers/
I noticed that when Finn and Rey were in a scene together, they almost always posed her upstage of him. He ended up standing behind looking over her shoulder. He usually tagged along behind her when they were on the move. She often was standing above looking down at him when they were talking to one another.
This may seem like a little thing, but it’s important to me because it works on the viewers’ subconscious without them knowing it is going on. They are being programmed, in effect.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
the whole “stop taking my hand” line
TWICE. She doesn’t say it once but TWICE. Then she tells Han Solo how to fly the Falcon and he’s cool with it. Remember when C3PO would know better and Han threatened to “shut him up or shut him down”? But they rewrite the whole character for a snotty bitch who somehow knows the ship backwards – even though she never flew it and it hadn’t flown in years.
“YEARS”. Did they have f~~~ing “years” in Star Wars?
What’s next,
A new feministed you-go-girl Star Wars story.
“Star Whores. The Fempire Sucks C~~~.”
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.Key beat me to it…I was going to mention the new Teaser for the new “Rogue” series coming out this coming December is a whole new level of low drama T~~~tage for the Star Wars universe…
Sorry guys, now that Disney owns the franchise it’s only going to descend to the Feminist depths of hell from here on out…

This is the official ROGUE ONE teaser if I was mistaken above
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.I noticed that when Finn and Rey were in a scene together, they almost always posed her upstage of him. YES! I noticed this, too!! Finn’s the poor mangina who’s trying to keep the woman safe and she’s always outsmarting him or talking as a superior over him.
Then she tells Han Solo how to fly the Falcon and he’s cool with it.
Exactly! That’s what bothers me the most as well. Han is outsmarted by HER on how to fly the ship he’s been familiar with FOR years? She HAS to tell him to “hit the compressor” (to activate light speed).
I was watching a “making of” documentary on the third disc that comes with the set, and the woman that plays Captain Phasma (Gwendolyn Christie, I believe?) had to have repeated herself about 3 or 4 times about how she loves that Phasma was “not sexualized” and was an “intimidating villain.” REALLY? She had maybe 5 minutes of airtime and was defeated even faster than the Riot Control ‘trooper that fought against Finn.
The other thing that’s really annoying me is that so many women (I didn’t believe it until I heard it in real life after hearing it online) want Finn and Poe to be a gay couple. I swear, if that happens, I’m done and I’m selling everything in my Star Wars collection. It’s a cool series and mythos, but if we’re going to start worrying about characters’ sexualities, I’m going to have to drop it, too.
want Finn and Poe to be a gay couple
No.
If that happens, I will set fire to my unopened Slave Leia action figure. It will be worthless.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.In today’s world, two men can’t be close/best friends without being fantasized or joked about by women as being a gay couple.
Glad I don’t care about society’s opinion anymore.
How much the world has changed…
I was 16 years old in 1977 when my friend called me on a school night and said we had to ditch school the next day and go see a movie.
I asked “which movie”?, and he said “it will be a surprise”.
So the next morning I left my house for school but walked down another street and met my friend sitting in his used beat up white Trans-Am and we drove down to Mission Valley in San Diego to the stand-alone huge Valley Circle Theater. We got there at about 9:00 AM. The line of people was already all the way around the building almost twice over.
The movie about to premier inside that old gorgeous Movie Palace was STAR WARS – obviously.
It was showing at only one theater in all San Diego County, and the word was out, and the crowds were YOOOGE on opening day.
The first show was at 10:00 AM. My friend and I barely got into that first showing, we had to sit in the extreme rear right of the theater, but hey, we made it in.
Then the lights went down and the 20th Century Fox Logo appeared on the Silver Screen and then Star Wars started playing and nobody stopped to take a breath for the next two hours.
And the world changed that day – for me at least.
I went back over and over to that one and only theater showing Star Wars and watched it again and again for the next year, then I went away to college.
Last year “The Force Awakens” came out, and once again I went on opening day to the first showing.
Don’t get me wrong, it was alright, and it was a genuine joy to see Han and Chewie back in the Millenium Falcon.
But Princess Leia looked like a 70 year old Crack Whore – no matter how much makeup they spooged on her – and Luke looked almost as bad. And there are no serious “Black Hats”, just a bunch of metrosexual kids pretending to be bad guys.
Compared to the original Star Wars, and certainly the Original Empire Strikes Back (which I still believe is the best film of all of them) my reaction to the new film “The Force Awakens” was like – “okay, meh”.
I will refuse to watch “Rogue One”, no matter how much my sons plead with me to see it with them.
Just my opinion guys, sorry for the rant…

I was petrified during her scenes, worried that someone would bump her and it would all come apart.

As far as I’m concerned, Star Wars is dead.
I will not be seeing any of these new movies.
I don’t mind strong females, female leads, or any combo.
However, these movies are just female indoctrination.

Just as I anticipated if not to say were close to predict it and that is one of the main reasons why I still haven’t watched episode VII yet and I don’t even plan to do so for the foreseeable future, never mind the fact that I used to be a Star Wars fan.
I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

Feminist and multicultural hell.
It wouldn’t surprise me if they just Title the next one:
Star Wars: All White men are evil bastards who deserve to die.
Marriage is the process of finding out what kind of man your wife would have preferred.
I still actually haven´t seen the ep-vii. As a SW fan I really wanted to but spoilers found me first and now I honestly don´t even want to see it. Even if it didn´t reek of feminism I just can´t stand that disney killed the Expanded universe and made THIS the canon.
And after seeing that trailer I don´t want to see Rogue one either. I generally don´t mind female heores in movies and some games but this is pure stinking propaganda and imo movies/games shouldn´t really be used to force someone´s retarded social opinions on viewers/users.
Hurts even more it´s SW. I watched the original series first as a 5y old kid.
SNAFU really nowdays.

I bought the blu-ray only because I didn’t want to make the wookie angry…
Feminists and SJWs infiltrating great franchises like Star Wars are making me hate most media altogether. Even the older media. Not because the older media was bad, but because the newer version (like Ghostbusters) make me hate the entire franchise itself. And I don’t ever want to hate a movie or franchise such as Ghostbusters. But, SJWs ALWAYS have to take a good thing and s~~~ all over it. I bet most of them aren’t even real fans of Star Wars. They’re just butthurt because they’re a MINORITY and will always be a MINORITY.
I’m seriously on the verge of banning all types of media from my mind. Especially Star Wars because it’s a f~~~ed up franchise.
Disney and other companies are f~~~ing up every thing we loved as kids and are turning it into an SJW s~~~ting hole. The other thing that’s really annoying me is that so many women (I didn’t believe it until I heard it in real life after hearing it online) want Finn and Poe to be a gay couple. I swear, if that happens, I’m done and I’m selling everything in my Star Wars collection.
I’m seriously getting sick of this as well. I don’t give a s~~~ about a person’s sexuality. SJWs care too much where another man puts his dick to begin with. Especially if that man goes monk and avoids women altogether. I f~~~ing hate that.
If they want a gay, transgendered, bisexual, pansexual, [insert minority here] midget, who slays dragons and sucks they’re enemies dicks afterwards, then by all means, MAKE AN ORIGINAL CHARACTER! DON’T F~~~ UP FRANCHISES IN THE NAME OF YOUR STUPID CAUSE!
SJWs need to know if they keep f~~~ing up franchises based on their stupid ideologies, they’re going to keep FAILING BIG TIME! No one will buy their heaping pile of bulls~~~!
Social justice warriors instead just s~~~ on everything good until it stinks so bad that no one wants to be near it because it’s officially been branded a pile of s~~~!
I wouldn’t be surprised if they remade the original Star Wars movies in 5-10 years and made Darth Vader a woman while f~~~ing up other characters along the way.

I’ve also seen the first half of the new Star Wars film. i loved the universe, but I had to leave the theater half way through because REY is a f~~~ing c~~~ that’s annoying as s~~~ to even look at.

Isn’t the anthology rogue series supposed to have different characters with different stories? Are they going to do the same thing and put a female lead for the other two?
If they do, I’m outta the theater.
You know what I seen the movie 38 times. 4 times in the theatre and 34 times using kodi add-ons.
I’ve read things over and over about Rey’s character and relating it to feminism and so forth. My question is there a line???? I really liked the movie and it’s 247 days for the next one.
Oh and by the way, I bought the blu-ray/DVD/Digital HD copy plus the Digital HD on my xbox one. Plus I will but it when the 3D version comes out. Call me stupid. I don’t care.
The fact I accept the trilogy for what it is including the prequels. All this stuff about boycotting the movie because it has a female lead and now they are saying it about Rogue One.
I know I’m not going to change anyone’s mind who is against the movie which is fine but I’m not going to let anyone’s opinions about the film having a female lead change my opinion on the film.
I mean really saying oh I’m against it because of feminism having an influence on it. Isn’t this just an indirect shaming tactic for us who liked the movie? I mean I know feminist use shaming tactics to try and control men. The fact is I really see no difference in that and those who boycotted the movie because of the feminist element which I say really doesn’t exist in my opinion. Then implying in an indirect way I should be against this.
I could understand if someone didn’t like the movie because they copied things from A New Hope and claim it wasn’t original. A friend of mine actually didn’t like it for that reason but we’re still friends. Or let’s say it just wasn’t their speed because it was a movie they decided to see because everyone was seeing it.
Saying that you didn’t like the movie because of the feminist element implying if you are MGTOW you should feel that way too. That’s where MGTOW lost me and decided I’m not a MGTOW but I’m a IGMOW. I’ve gone my own way gender neutral.
I still believe in most of what MGTOW has to say but when you went to Star Wars that’s when I said this is not for me. Maybe I’m fanboy which I am because I even accept the prequels for what they are.
In addition, You may think Star Wars is for young boys but when I was in school I knew girls who had Star Wars action figures. The fact is a lot of women and young girls love the trilogy so to say it’s should be on a male perspective maybe haven’t read the books or comics where you do see more of the Star Wars Universe.
A bit of advice guys, you know for some of us Star Wars has been a part of our lives forever. For me I was 6 years old when I saw the first Star Wars movie before it was labeled and Episode and I was in senior kindergarten. The fact is this is what made me say I’m not a MGTOW because I can’t go along with this and I know I’m not the only guy.
That YouTuber Red Pill Philosophy who usually gets a lot of thumbs up. On this topic because he was negative had more thumbs down than thumbs up and that’s when I unsubscribed to the channel. If he didn’t like the film for other reasons not relating to feminism and saying it wasn’t MGTOW friendly, I would still be watching his videos. He had some good insight but lost me on this issue.
One thing I remember Tom Leykis said about his show that you don’t want to offend the audience. He was saying this about topics he doesn’t talk about that will offend men and yes has those topics.
So guys remember you have a good thing going with MGTOW but you have to pick your battles better. If you nit pick on every little thing especially your followers unless they don’t have a mind for themselves, will walk in the other direction.
Anyways, guys those are my thoughts. I really don’t post here too often anymore but still come on once in a while. I figured since The Force Awakens went on sale April 1st someone would be talking about it. So this post wasn’t meant to diss just why I decided I can go my own way without agreeing with what MGTOW says. Cheers!

I’m gonna go ahead and call you a tuna because you obviously didn’t read our posts. Most here don’t give a s~~~ if you watch an SJW/gynocentric media to begin with. I watch plenty of gynocentric media.
The problem I have with SJW media like the C~~~ Awakens for example, is that it’s full of feminist bulls~~~. But, you can go ahead and watch it.
