SPOILERS AHEAD

It was just as I called it. Finn was great. Poe was great….but guess who they took a back seat to?

Rey

Where do I begin? Remember how Luke got his ass kicked on Tattoine? Not Rey! She’s beating up multiple men with her staff. Remember how Luke could barely keep up with the training remote even with Obi-wan right there training him? Not Rey! She’s able to not only use the jedi mind trick despite zero knowledge of the force……and apparently is good enough to beat Kylo Ren saber to saber despite, as I said, Kylo being trained. She actually beats him….soundly. Did I mention she can fly the Millennium Falcon? Fix it? AND tell Han Solo what he’s doing wrong? Did I mention she’s treating Finn like he’s dumb while she repairs the Falcon? Did I mention she has only just discovered the force and is able to probe Kylo Ren’s mind?

Remember when Han give her the blaster and she says she can ‘handle’ herself? She forgets to take the safety off.

Toward the end of the movie, Han Solo dies. Then we get the final kick in the nuts. She sits in his seat in the c~~~pit of the Falcon while they fly off to find Luke.

There are female pilots and techs running around the resistance base as well.

Rey is nothing but Kathleen Kennedy’s Mary Sue, and I can’t believe I just figured this out this morning. This movie can’t get negative reviews because of the cast. One negative review gets you labeled a misogynist or racist.

I was actually going to go see it with a girlfriend tomorrow but after reading a few of your spoilers I think I better not. I don’t want to pay 10eu to end up completely disgusted after two hours of feminists torture. I’d rather remember Star Wars as it was under Lucas’s direction than witnessing the death of a successful franchise.
I think I’d rather go to the Jurassic Museum, the War Museum or a contemporary play, go eat couscous at a nice Algerian restaurant then get a nice hotel room and go at it with her like they do on the Discovery Channel.

So they f~~~ed Star Wars and took a dump on George’s well-crafted world. It’s no surprise really.
So what’s next? A remake of 300 à la T~~~ with a bunch of Amazons riding to the help of the Spartans or a new Iron Man with Pepper Potts piloting the armor and saving the world with more panache than Tony Stark?
I don’t put anything past them these days.

I never go to the movies but was going to see this one due the CGI. Now I will wait for it to come to payperview and pay 7.00 with 4 people watching it.

Your talking about a franchise that only 2 out of 6 movies were good. George Lucas created it, then f~~~ed it up.
Plus Star Wars fans made The Phantom Menace into a billion dollar movie, that movie should’ve Bombed.

That’s the entire irony. Before Star Wars was ‘in’, that’s exactly what they said. Most women my age still do. To them, it’s always going to be ‘nerd’ s~~~.

Do I think it will turn them in to Star Wars fans? No. At least not like we are (were). I was so embarrassed that I packed a Star Wars shirt for work, I stopped and bought a new Pink Floyd shirt to wear. The Rey wank fest has already begun, check out YouTube.

Six years (3 between movies) we had to wait for the character development, training, skillset and maturity of Luke.
It was like he was off somewhere in training between films and FINALLY we got to see it – leaving much to the imagination.

Rey is all powerful right out of the box.

Does anyone else see the poetry in that?

Oh god …..well I owe myself $20. Star Wars was the man and the man was Star Wars. Yeah it was about Luke, but Han Solo made humorous, humane, heroic, humble , s~~~ was always broken, and space was imperfect and FUN.
