Oh tuna. Fish is that a shame tactic????
I mean really saying oh I’m against it because of feminism having an influence on it. Isn’t this just an indirect shaming tactic for us who liked the movie?
That’s where MGTOW lost me and decided I’m not a MGTOW but I’m a IGMOW. I’ve gone my own way gender neutral.
I’m gonna go ahead and call you a tuna because you obviously didn’t read our posts. Most here don’t give a s~~~ if you watch an SJW/gynocentric media to begin with. I watch plenty of gynocentric media.
The problem I have with SJW media like the C~~~ Awakens for example, is that it’s full of feminist bulls~~~. But, you can go ahead and watch it.

Ok my first post I did on my phone so something weird happened and couldn’t edit this.
First I did read the post about the feminist element in hollywood at some point and I was referring to that.
Now you called me a Tuna so is that some sort of shame tactic??? That’s what the feminist use against us. I never called anyone names in my post and you’re acting out negatively. At least how I read it. I mean Tuna is implied as for being a pussy. Correct me if I’m wrong but that’s how I see it.
Maybe your up in arms because I do have a point from what I previously said.
If you were talking against TV shows or day time talk shows on TV I would be with you because there is a feminist element there. Now a Sci-Fi movie based on fiction??? Come on. People talk about how Rey was a strong character who could do know wrong. Well she almost crashed the Falcon on Jakku, she let the Rathtars free by pressing the wrong button, she went of by herself where Kylo Ren over powered her by using the force when she shot at him twice. I think you’re missing those points.
Also Princess Leia was a strong female character in the original trilogy so is there a feminist element there? It’s funny I don’t hear about her character because those are characters we loved as kids. Now were adults and we are so quick to judge Rey when she is the female lead. How about just enjoy the movie for what it is.
I mean as adults we take things so seriously to the point of know we have to knock Sci_fi fantasy movies
Ok I don’t mean this as a shame tactic but you will probably take it as that. Maybe you’re upset on what has happened in your life by the system or by women that’s it’s clouded things in your mind? I don’t care if that is out of line to say. I speak my mind and tell it like it is.
I did say MGTOW is a good thing for men but to beware on somethings that men will be sensitive too. This is one of them. I know a lot of MGTOW guys who loved the movie but are afraid to speak out because they think it’s wrong from them to like the movie or should think like you do because they are MGTOW or are just confused. Remember feminism lost its wheels because they went too fast asking for everything. Now more women are calling out against. I know they are doing it for their best interest because they do want to be taken care of but they are speaking out against it none the less.
I’m just saying you don’t think something like this would change opinion. Well it changed mine. I used to have YouTube channel and blog and didn’t agree with this. I said to myself this is what MGTOW is all about??? This is what I represent??? I was even going to get a MGTOW tattoo and when I started reading negative posts about The Force Awakens back in September I was like boy I’m glad I didn’t get a MGTOW tattoo. Like I said earlier if this was about TV I would agree or if it was a chick flick movie. A movie based on Sci-Fi fantasy I believe can have strong female and male characters. Again correct me if I’m wrong but never heard anything about Princess Leia or even Padme in the prequels.
Anyways, I’m not going to change your mind and you’re not going to change mine. The fact I don’t want to go around in life nit picking at every little thing that is insignificant. Hollywood is the real source. They are just afraid of what the feminist might do or say so they try and cater to everyone “in their eyes”. I do feel in Sci-Fi if you were cheering on Princess Leia or Batgirl or Wonder Woman. I don’t get how people can knock Rey’s character for being perfect picking up her skills fast. Luke did too compared to Obi-Wan, and Anakin. How long was Anakin a Padawan for? 10 years. Now Rey isn’t a Jedi yet and maybe she fought Kylo Ren toe to toe but so did Luke with Vader. People will mention cloud city and losing his hand and his lightsaber. He still used to force calling out to Leia to get out of the situation. We don’t know what happens in the 8th film yet but I do think Rey will lose a hand. Anakin lost it in ep 2 and Luke in ep 5 so won’t be surprised if they follow this.
Anyways, that’s my opinion. Just remember the thing being contradictory is one of the reasons feminism has a black eye. That’s what I see happening to MGTOW if people are saying for e.g Princess Leia is good but Rey is bad. Now I know you’re going to say this post didn’t say this. It’s a metaphor. I mean you are obviously reading into things that I’m saying is negative and I’m doing the same with those who didn’t like The Force Awakens due to feminism. We agree to disagree. You’re not going to change mine and I’m not going to change yours. Period.
I realize I’m a bit late to the party here but eventually got around to seeing the movie. The mangina friend brought it over to see what I’d say about it.
From my perspective, the thing that stood out the most for me was how Ford and Fisher have aged. While he looked old and haggard, though somewhat softened by time, she looked plastic and bitter… and it was clear that all of her lines were dialogue replacement, whereas Ford’s sounded more natural, even if they were replacement (which is common in movies, regardless).
Yes, it was obvious this was a girl power movie. Worse than that, though, was the ass-kissy Finn who seemed to really have no motivation aside from first being a coward and then trying to nail the girl.
Poe was a badass. Ren was a goofy looking emo f~~~ who was not at all menacing. The battle station leader ginger guy was WAY more kickass and should have been the big baddie. They should have left C3P0 out of the movie entirely. The little orange lady sounded too much like Whoopie Goldberg / Oprah.
Other than these complaints, I found the movie rather enjoyable. The fight scenes and cinematography, particularly the aerial battle sequences, were lovely and the bit with Poe and Finn in the tie fighter was fun.
It was better than I expected, but less pandering, more Star Wars in the future, please.
Nope, it’s not a shaming tactic. I’m just calling it like I see it. You’re a tuna.
I’m also not up in arms about your post. I’m just giving rebuttals to your stupid arguments. And yes, they’re stupid.
Also Princess Leia was a strong female character in the original trilogy so is there a feminist element there?
The thing is, in the original Star Wars, there wasn’t feminist bulls~~~ in it. For example, Princess Leia was wearing a collar and sitting beside Jabba The Hut in one of the movies. You’ll never see a woman doing something like that in a feminist film.
I did say MGTOW is a good thing for men but to beware on somethings that men will be sensitive too. This is one of them. So you’re saying MGTOW is becoming “feminism for men?” HAHAHAHA! That’s f~~~ing hilarious. MGTOW isn’t a political movement. Feminism is. MGTOW is about improving men. Feminism is a misandric cult. Big difference.
This is why I’m calling you out as a tuna. if I’m wrong I’ll apologize. But, as of right now, I just see you as a tuna.
That’s what I see happening to MGTOW if people are saying for e.g Princess Leia is good but Rey is bad.
Well you can be a mangina for Rey all you want. I simply don’t give a s~~~.
I don’t mind female leads in media. However, I hate FEMINIST female leads in media. Western media especially, has a huge track record in promoting this kind of bulls~~~ and destroying franchises because of it. Just look at the new Ghostbusters film and tell me it doesn’t have feminist bulls~~~ in it. Go ahead, I dare you.

Ok Tuna is a shaming tactic for one.
Second my comment aren’t stupid maybe you’re going thru the redpill phase and are still angry but these are true.
Third, Stupid comments another shaming tactic maybe you should wonder why you’re so upset about a fictional movie on how it relates to society. If this was TV I would be with you but in a world where people have super powers I think this a bit off.
Fourth, Mangina another shaming tactic to someone who is simply pointing out a difference in opinion. See this is why I left the community because it seems like if you have a difference in opinion you’re labelled as a tuna or my comments are stupid and so forth.
Fifth, I never called you a name once. Never said you comments were stupid and you called me a tuna and said my comments where stupid implying that I’m stupid. Which really exposes your insecurities.
As far as feminism going the same direction as MGTOW. The fact you said the above you used shaming to argue your points which are weak and resorted to name calling so whocan be the more mature one with having a discussion with resorting to shaming or name calling. It certainly not you.
If you are what MGTOw has to offer, I’m glad I went IGMOW because if MGTOW had stripes you wouldn’t be worthy at all.

To Fearless MGHOW:
I think you should be asking yourself that question. You said I was a tuna, my comments were stupid and called me a Mangina.
Before that I never said another thing about you. Oh when I meant red pill phase I meant red pill rage phase. Maybe you are in that phase. Anyways, pretty much done here.
A word of advice people can agree to disagree. There is nothing wrong in that but when start name calling and so forth. You might think it’s burn on the person but really the burn is on you because you had to back up your points with name calling and so forth.
Now you may be young and don’t see this but believe me I’m 45 years old never married, no kids and as matter of fact I had a vasectomy because I didn’t want to contribute to a one sided corrupt system. So does that sound like a Mangina to you. I pretty much know society has kicked around men for 50 years. That’s why I opted out but now because I have a difference in opinion I’m not worthy???? That’s the reason I said to myself I don’t need this. I’m doing everything right with the above mentioned and never dated a single mom and also invested and saved money. So Mangina I am because of a movie I liked that had a female lead???? Anyways, life is short and good luck with stuff in the MGTOW community.
Oh by the way to the administrator you can take down my account because I’m done here. Guys like this is where you lost me.
Oh when I meant red pill phase I meant red pill rage phase. Maybe you are in that phase. Anyways, pretty much done here.
I’m justified in every single way to be in a f~~~ing red pill rage mode. And if I have a problem with feminists c~~~s ruining good franchises like Star Wars, I’m fully justified to be p~~~ed off about that as well.

okay dude. I’m back. i decided to give this forum a chance again but go thru your red pill rage mode. Just do a favour. Don’t fight thru it. Just go thru it. I did and it developed into depression but I had OCD, and anxiety issues before. So I went on some stronger meds that eliminated it. I still have OCD and anxiety issues. I hated being depressed. You just don’t want to do anything and find joy with nothing. So with that a side we agree to disagree. Period. I came back to the forum not to say I’m a MGTOW again. I’m just a Dark Knight IGMOW. I just don’t like the idea of starting on hating on something I’ve loved since kindergarten all of a sudden due to a new movie. I just find there was picking and choosing going on on the subject relating to other stuff involving other movies. Saying this is ok and that isn’t Anyways, not going to explain anymore. If you don’t get what I’m trying to say, your mind is made up and that’s fine.

I honestly don’t give a s~~~ if you liked the new Star Wars movie. I loved the actual world itself in episode 7. What I hated was Rey. She’s a total c~~~ and only wins at the expense of men.
When Luke fought Darth Vader, he actually struggled A LOT and even got his hand cut off. You’ll never see Rey struggling like Luke did.
Modern western media is plagued with feminism. I don’t mind strong female characters such as these:
THOSE are actually lovable female characters that are strong by their own merits.
Compare that with Rey in this scene:
See the difference in what I’m saying? In this clip, Rey wins without struggling at all. It’s pure feminist gurrrl powah in Star Wars.
That’s what I hate about modern western media. It always has political agendas attached to it. And it ruins the f~~~ out of good franchises like Star Wars.

Gwendolyn Christie’s overacting is so f~~~ing horrible in ep 7, she sounds like she’s faking her own british accent. The best part about her character is that she barely had any lines.

Definitely. I could only stand watching Star Wars for about half of the movie. I had to leave because of characters such as hers and Rey’s. They’re annoying c~~~s.

Trying to be objective and constructive here. Most of your posts result in a bunch of TL;DR. From what I did read, most of it is typing in circles. Don’t get butthurt about men disagreeing with you and call it “shaming”. That is a feminist tactic and the reason why you get labeled a tuna. Just think it through and proofread before you hit submit.
