Disagree. The first Bond movie I saw was Goldeneye and I mostly think that movie was campy trash. Boris (Alan Cumming) was the only thing saving that film–it definitely wasn’t poncy Pierce.

My dad pulls me aside, shows me a Connery film (I think Goldfinger but maybe From Russia With Love, I can’t remember which anymore), and I immediately forgot about the mediocre Brosnan bonfire. Not only was it a better film with more suspense, it had Henry Jones Sr as not-an-old-man.

Absolutely, look at the other franchises they tried to take over such as Ghostbusters and Oceans 8. Both Both films flopped, not because they are s~~~ films but apparently due to the patriarchy and men giving them bad reviews.

The real problem is that a female 007 would never suffer any real risk, either of failure or personal or otherwise. They straight up fu​cking tortured the Bond in Die Another Day, but there’s no way in hell they’ll be able to so much as tie a female 007 up to a table with a laser pointer pointing at it. Add to that the fact male audiences won’t identify with a female 007 and female audiences won’t want to f~~~ a female 007 and NOBODY is going to see this film. All this film will do is once again demonstrate the glaring disconnect between the corporate media and audiences. I predict another 90% critics and 10% audience score on the review sites. Of course the media will once again blame (and insult) the audience, because that’s always worked so well in the past /sarcasm.

Im one of the many who paid to go to theater for Skyfall and Spectre… but now I will Wait-Til-Redbox because Im not interested in seeing Daniel Craig get waxed or seeing Bond retire…

The point is, based on reception in the first week, Ill decide if this unflattering female 007 crap is worth watching.

We dont really know how they bodged it yet, we just know theres a Woke angle that may have spiked the whole movie, or maybe just the last half hour… who knows?

USUALLY I will never watch Trailers and definitely not read anything if Im planning to see a film at theatre. For example, the moment I knew Brad Pit was in a big budget astro movie I deliberately plugged my ears and hummed for 2 months until it hit theatres and I paid full price opening day with zero knowledge going in. That is the proper way, zero expections and no spoilers. Same thing I did with Alien Covenant and Bladerunner 2049

But with Bond ‘woke culture’ crap, you have to read reviews and watch Trailers before even daring to buy a ticket.

The new plot should be Daniel Craig gets upset with himself for realising he’s been a tool of the patriarchy all these years and been mansplaining. So Q performs reconstructive surgery and he James bond becomes a woman – Jamie Bond. But now he’s a hundred times stronger than before and torpedos and nuclear missiles bounce off him. And he falls in love with Blofelt and gets married. The End.

That was one thing I gave the newer “Casino Royale” credit for. They absolutely ravaged Bond. It wasn’t quite the slow torturous death of suffocation in being coated in gold, but it was brutal.
