    PistolPete’s phone came back on line 45 minutes ago and he is doing great.

    Power should be restored by Saturday but his generator and solar panel are providing plenty of power. He will need to get more gas tomorrow but the stations have plenty of gas, those that have power of course.

    A few trees came down but no damage to the house, decks or cars.

    He wanted me to give a big shout out to Greg Honda for fixing Pete’s generator during Honda’s visit. Pete says that you are F**KING AWESOME!

    While he has a backup propane stove, cooking off the generator just makes it much easier.

    Fair warning, Pete is going to be posting lots of threads about prepping and surviving for everyone who were whining, criticizing and complaining.

    He sends his best to everyone, especially everyone who actually suffered damage.

    He did have a truck load of boys come by last night looking to loot some gasoline.

    As Pete says, “The four asses pulled into the driveway with their truck lights on, I was on the back porch with my Shotgun about to shutdown the generator and cut through the house to meet them. I did not say anything, they did not say anything, but when they saw my flashlight and shotgun, all got back in the truck and drove the f*ck off very quickly.

    FYI, Pete uses combat loaded: Dbl 00 buck, slug, #4 shot… two rounds each alternated.

    You realty really want to avoid this saying hi to you.

    He will not be posting his “Friday Night Music” but hopes to be online Saturday.

    His prepping has him living like a King, in a very small country, but a King regardless.

    Will send another update tomorrow.

    Same here Pete, I’m the only glow of artificial light for several sq miles during outages, Nothing changes, heat, shower, hot water, refrigeration, air conditioner, wash, everything is powered up while the lines are down.

    I’m taking hot showers days into a winter ice storm while others are helplessly watching their pluming freeze and rupture.

    Will pass it along Nerd. I may call him later tonight and read some Drudge to Pete later, if so I will read him these threads.

    Just had a thought, Pete is currently MGTOW’s Helen Keller… can’t wait to call him that and see what he thinks. He can’t see or hear or speak MGTOW at the moment!

    I wonder how hard it was for him not to just unload all those rounds into that trucks windshield.

    Heroes blast looters during sh1t like this. At least the folks around areas where this is going on think so.

    We’re still f~~~ed up here though getting better. There is little food in the stores. Stations are still running out of gas. Mail delivery and trash pickup are suspended until further notice.

    It was the worst 50 MPH storm I’ve ever seen in my life. Dark Sith sent me photos of the storm surge where he lives, and the same thing happened to the marsh side of my neighborhood. The center was 250 miles away from us.

    That thing chewed up Florida and caused a lot of disruptions here too.

    Thanks to Publix not being cowardly, I never had to hit my beans and rice.

    The only silver lining is that I can sell things that execs would normally dismiss as never going to happen. Also, not having trees in one’s house is nice too.

    Great question! I will ask him and will post tomorrow. If they had actually entered his house, road kill.

    Given that they were in the driveway, only approaching the house and immediately left… their acquiescence probably had the same affection on Pete as a pup rolling on its back in front of the alpha male.

    Absolutely right OldBill, we both have done a lot of research and test firing on this particular combo.

    It is very devastating, especially in areas with minimal cover or concealment.

    One of the reasons we don’t worry about folks around our houses.

    Frankly, it’s best not to shoot. Pete made his point. They will not return.

    I’m a little leery of putting slugs in Dr. Mossberg in an urban environment. I may move to 00 Buck alternated with #4.
