    Let’s not kid ourselves – we wouldn’t be able to talk freely on this forum if others hadn’t died in foreign wars.

    Had people not fought in those wars, we would be very controlled indeed.

    But I do take the OP’s point – the more we men are oppressed in this society and the less free we are to express ourselves and the less rights we have (compared to women), the less willing we should be to fight in wars.

    Actually history would have been rewritten and we would be, or our equivalents, would be saying if it hadn’t happened the way it did we wouldn’t be able to talk freely. Human species seems to adapt pretty quickly. Even the losers of every war.

    Neither is the love for the country you live in.
    You can choose not to. .but don’t think your definition of what makes another man blue pill means a damn thing to me.
