I don’t think theists are manginas cos of their beliefs. I think they are manginas because of their persecution complexes and the way they stonewall all debate as a personal attack.

You are first of all presuming to know an awful lot about others you really don’t know at all. How do you know we are atheists until s~~~ hits the fan? Trust me, s~~~ has hit multiple fans in my life, and I didn’t call upon God for help. I got up off my ass and did something about the situation.

I never make up imaginary theists, I directly address the specific claims an individual make.

Hitler was a Christian, his most brutal men had belt buckles with;

on them. According to census data basically every German soldier was a Christian from a Christian home. How did that stop their worst actions?? Hitler made atheism illegal, refer free thinker society.

Stalin trained as a priest, not one of the people you mentioned ever killed a single person in the name of atheism and they killed a lot of people.

Blaming them is like blaming shirts for serial killers because they all wore shirts.

Religion has killed millions in the name of God from day one to present.

Can you provide a peer-reviewed article in a scientific journal to provide evidence for your claim that God exists? Furthermore, you haven’t even stated of which God you are speaking.

Ok well then. I’m going to go on and continue with my point.

So in a world where God does not exist- and there is only man. Nothing after death, no afterlife.

Morality wouldn’t actually exist- what people consider right and wrong, or rather, it would all be subjective. Now if that was the case, people could do anything they wanted. Murder, Stealing, Adultery, Cheating, etc would all be free reign- and there is no real reason why it would be wrong.

I’ve heard some people use the argument that the purpose of the species is to survive and anything that did not help propagate the continuation of the species would be wrong because it goes against that goal. And to that I say bulls~~~, because the concept of wrong would not exist. It would only be what they do and don’t like- and in that world there is absolutely no damn reason to give a f~~~ what anybody else desires.

Survival of the fittest would definitely be in play, and once again, there would be nothing wrong with it. It’s natural, and how things are and have been since the “big bang”. You get killed or stolen from- OH WELL. Looks like your weak genes will not continue propagating the gene pool.

I notice pretty much any atheist that is using the argument against God because of how “ridiculous” the idea sounds always says, “HEY look at what horrible atrocities YOUR God committed”. CHECKMATE.

The obvious and rather pivotal question therefore is then where exactly are you getting YOUR moral compass? And what makes it the objective right and wrong everyone should follow?

I do believe that the answer to that question is the main key to theism/anti-theism/atheist etc whatever else. I have yet to have an atheist actually directly answer that question without trying some sort of haughty spit-take on it (as much of your responses in this thread have been)- but I have gotten the answer you spit out as a deflection many, many times.

Avoiding a question because it makes you uncomfortable does not make the point invalid, and in some ways, doing that is akin to what you say Christians are doing.

Morals are culturally dependent and change over time. Early Christians would call most modern Christians highly immoral.

If morals were objective then they are arbitrary, god does not display morals. He/it displays the most immoral acts conceivable.

Obeying gods word is not morality its obedience . obedience is not morality.

You are saying something is right or wrong because God says so not because it is.

You ignore almost everything in the bible to come up with your subjective morality like I do.

Now stop wearing mixed cloth and eating shrimp etc x 1000. Your bible forbids you on moral grounds.

Scary thing is it seems the only thing stopping some theists from raping and killing everything in sight is fear of p~~~ing god off, morality indeed.
