Sounds like hes got plemty off amo. Most looters are empy handed to carry things. The will gonto empty hoises only.

That why you have to make it look like nobody’s home – shut the lights off and wait with weapon ready))

I am setting shop in my kitchen. I’m using a blanket to cover one window per OldBill’s suggestion. You can’t get on my patio without me detecting you.

The forecast seems to be calling for lower wind speeds for us now with 80% of the city gone so it’ll be paradise for the few looters. It’s isolated looting, but I heard it from a very reliable source just like what you posted last night, Russky. Go loot the rich white neighborhoods. Any BLM minions be they white or black that loot on my property will result in C-Pig shooting. Looters are not very popular in Georgia.

They do know a lot about body disposal up Tower’s way though. The upcoming super ebb tide will be probably be running like 8 to 10 knots of current which is really fierce. God, I hope I don’t end up having to do that. It does beat involving the law. They stated to expect no services for three days so it’s DIY around here right now.

The other f~~~ed up thing is they won’t let you get back into the city for 2 to 3 days so it’s a controlled zone rather free range looter zone. I’m holing up and have everything I need.

I told my friend who was worried about potable water that I can make whatever he needs.

I have family down near Orlando who are hunkered down. They’d rather be swept out to sea than have to evacuate and spend a week on a gym floor.

    I could not agree more.

Hey C-Pig, I don’t think your peppers are gonna need any water for a while. Good day to wash the car!

If you’re still online later tell us how far you have to lean into the wind (I love doing that).

On the knob (locals call our property) the wind topples trees on a regular basis, one winter the wind coming from the pass was 70+, I could only take baby steps any more and the wind would blow my leg off course like a weather vein, I was going crosscut to the wind with the added trickery of icy spots!

The pepper plants are very, very happy. Tropical storm force winds are about 50 miles away now.

Worst case I get an eyewall scrape which would suck.

Low and slow, brother, low and slow.

Remember, you’re not just sheltering in place against dindus, looters, and other jackals. You’re sheltering in place against LEA too.

It’s a mandatory evac order. LEA has orders to move you. If you start firing in the air as “warnings” or “marking your boundaries” or some of the other nonsense suggested, you’re going to get LEA’s attention. All the local, county, state, and fed Barney Fifes are going to follow that noise to you door. Then the “fun” will really begin.

No warning shots. You only pull the trigger because your sights are on some raggedy ass dindu’s center of mass. You only pull the trigger to kill.

Good to read about your blackout preparations. After dark, make time to check it all from the outside.

Low and slow, remember. The only time anyone should even suspect you’re there is the instant before you kill them.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

I saw a report last night about price gouging and I thought of you hunkering down. Glad to hear you’re alright. I’ll be watching the news coverage. I have a niece hunkering down with her little boy there, too. She’s like you, though. Looters beware…

I honestly don’t see any reason to evacuate if a house has a basement and not in a floodplain – it’s just idiocy. People are worse off stuck in traffic than in their own basement. Unless it’s a wildfire of course. But it’s just me

Thats why i said..a few rounds. Split the differnce between the law hearing you anf the looters hearing you.

I don’t think CP has to worry about a wildfire during a hurricane. So, you’re gardening? Are you gonna have a hurricane party next time? I remember New Orleans with a friend of mine from boot camp. N.O. is his hometown. We had a party and watched the storm track on TV as the hurricane missed us. That was 1974.

    No warning shots.

I’m not the warning shot type. I’ll be ghosting hard after dark. The front of the house looks just like the evacuated houses even my car is missing. Thanks OldBill for your sage advice!

You really don’t want to fire a weapon. We have ShotSpotter deployed. They’ll be on me like the stink on s~~~.

I’ve never experienced a tropical system where I’m prepping my weapons to be at the ready. Three more AR mags to stuff. Times really have changed for the worst. I figured it’s better to be prepared.

@joetech: We had a hell of party for Hugo which devastated Charleston nobody expected it to miss us and hit them to be young and dumb again.

Oh, I’ll have cover though. I think this storm is going to be a dud due to staying to farther out to sea. It’s just the assholes looters and LEA taking advantage of a situation. People stay to loot. I stay to keep from being looted.

The local police are basically like you’re own your own. I would not want to be in a storm surge area though.

When I read this thread, my jaw dropped open. I cannot believe what you guys have to deal with over there, people really have turned into f~~~ing assholes.

Why isn’t the army parking a tank on each street with a 7pm curfew and “one warning before we start shooting” rule ?

I hope none of you suffer any damage to your health or property. If you have to defend yourself, try to make sure their compatriots aren’t also armed, and don’t forget, they know where you live.

Why does that song sound so familiar?
