It’s not my place but here’s my 0.02 as an observer after the fact. I wanted to post this rather than let it fester.

I think both sides stepped out of line and I hope that y’all can hash this out respectfully as men, to set an example for the menbers and lurkers alike because the way this episode plays out will affect the way menbers conduct themselves in the future. I say that as someone who makes jokes that could easily be taken out of context, like what happened here (insofar as I can tell, I did not see what got deleted.).

DYD you did break one of the few rules.
KM you were rather disrespectful to DYD.

Perhaps a heavier hand as it relates to moderation is in order, The Litter Box exists for a reason, what if it had a counterpart called “The Exhaust Vent”. In which low effort posts could be filtered for quality control. After all as men it is necessary to blow off steam in order to avoid a meltdown, therefore why not have such a release valve in place.

Not everyone is going to get along or like one another, but if we can’t hash out our differences as men on these forums, what are we doing here?

This is more of a rant than I intended, I’ll shut up now. Apologies if I stepped on any toes, but lines have been crossed.

This guy hit the nail on the head. At the end of the day this forum is a solace for men burned by society and not some training ground to incite or advocate violence. Our aim is to red pill as many as we can and give them a new outlook on life so they can focus on their recovery or success. Violence doesn’t help the situation one bit. We shouldn’t stomp on anyone’s head for that matter as the whole point of MGTOW is to let go of anger, frustrations, lust, desires, etc and to instead vent that energy in a productive manner like Tesla had done.

Besides, why should we care about blue pillers or manginas? Our ultimate aim is NFG.

I made it page four before having to comment, sorry about not reading the entire thread first…

Every current MGTOW member came here for a reason and have since remained .
Period.

The reason being is that they were unable to find a location with services, content and communication that they liked elesewhere.

That is our collective commonality and one currently forgotten.

MGTOW is unique among social media sites and like all social media forums has to both give members freedoms that attracts and retains them, while trying to also protect the members from detractors inside and out.

This is never easy.

We tend to forget our actions when we post to one another via threads, however those communication threads both define us, the member, as well as everyone who interacts with that thread, and the external image of the entire site.

This current exchange is not about one conversation or two members, it’s really about becoming aware of this site as a social media “organism” that lives, adapts and grows because of both internal and external actions.

I like having the ability to access MGTOW whenever I choose and hope nothing impedes my ability to do so.

Hopefully all members will decide for themselves as to whether they will do what is necessary to keep this site functioning in a manner that they wish it to be run.

Else they can try to find another site or MGTOW will eventually shut down and everyone will be searching.
