I see we’re on page 2 already! Nothing brings out the comments of heroes and rescuers like someone believing in unicorns! LOL

From the sounds of it, and I don’t mean this as an insult but as a matter of opinion … You’re having a manic episode, triggered by the questions, doubts, what if’s, and convictions swirling around in your mind. I know this feeling well and have been there multiple times myself. It’s okay for this process to take place, but i advise you to not let it alter your path.

You think she’s a unicorn ? How do you know this for sure ? Some guys are married to a woman they swear are perfect unicorns, and after 24 years, an opportunity for them to monkey branch presents itself, and they leave their husband of 24 years without hesitation or remorse. This happened recently to a coworker of mine.

The fact is most men don’t know the person sleeping in the same bed with them, even if they’ve been with them for over 20 years … I urge you to ask yourself these questions … How many “unicorns” develop personality traits you’re unaware of as they get older ? How many of them already have hidden traits you’re unaware of ?

Neuro, it isn’t so much of a manic episode as it is the physical pain in my body tonight. I overdid it today with all of the work I accomplished and am paying for that now. Bed, chair, etc, doesn’t matter. It hurts enough to alter my sleep. Granted, extra time awake will add to mania, I understand that and that it plays a role. My body is seriously damaged unfortunately. I am not asking for sympathy, please do not take it that way.

Sidecar, you have given me a mission tonight. I’m going to work on this ego and accept that I am not invincible. You’d think I’d know better with all I’ve gone thru.
Going to go do my physical therapy stretches and see if I can’t get this pain and muscle tension to chill out enough to lay down with at least some form of comfort.
    Again, thanks Brothers.

Even if you were asking for sympathy that would be okay 🙂 I have sympathy for my fellow MGTOW’s. I hope you’re able to find some calm amidst the brainstorm and get some rest so your body can heal my friend.

She’s not your unicorn, she’s your nemesis. Just about every man has one.
Prince Charles has Camila, SkyO has pumpkin.
Romeo had Juliet to bring him down, and Samson had Delilah.
And Homer wrote about how Helen of Troy caused the downfall of a civilization because of her hold on Paris.
It’s as old as human history.

You can use all the logic in the world and in the cold light of day you’ll know you’re right but humans are creatures of emotion not logic, and you’ll still be enchanted by her.

As long as you enjoy the fantasy of what it would be like to be with her, and realize it’s just that, a fantasy, you’ll be ok.
If you really believe she’s a NAWALT or Unicorn, you should talk to men who have lived with her. They’ll explain what a boring c~~~ she really is.

I do not like the expression unicorn, they are some invented animal that do not exist, they are OUR ideal image of a female that would be our partner, sexually, financially etc.

Good women actually exists, but seeing a female as a unicorn is a sign of oneitis, meaning that your judgment may be changed by the effect she grip she has on you.

Good women are less and less, but there are no unicorns, no one can guarantee to you that a good woman will turn against you at some point in time, so giving the legal ammunitions to ANY woman right now in time is not a smart move.

Try to heal that oneitis, my suggestion is many many redpills, and if that is not enough, dig deep in her past, and search for the bad things about her that you do not know, this will help with understanding that there are no unicorns, and that your view of her was just exaggerated.

Having confidence is not a bad thing.

Confidence has nothing to do with ego, because confidence comes from knowledge, not from any mere self image. In fact the ego usually leads to false confidence, and false confidence is always a mistake waiting to happen.

You’ll do what you have to, advice is free here and comes from lots of good guys. But in the end only you make your choices.

Sorry to hear about your arthritis. I have it in my lower back and its degenerative too, but sounds nothing like the level you’re at. Keep strong and look after yourself; this was a brave thread to put up and you spoke from the heart. Best wishes.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t give advice. However, the one thing I do believe with all my soul is that there are no Unicorns. Only awalts. I stand by this view in my own world and have for the past twenty-two years. This belief continues to serve me well in every aspect of my life. No relationship issues .. has freed me to follow my own interests to a larger degree than any other lifestyle would have allowed. No relationship issues, no residual loneliness, no legal hassles .. only opportunities .. I have absolutely no regrets. Things are good.

Also haul round bales and have spent many hours enjoying skid steer. All my cut hay escaped rain this year. I’ve also cut and baled some clover mix .. found that it takes longer for the cut clover to dry sufficiently for baling but the neighbor’s animals enjoy it like candy.
Had some issues with the “kicker” during harvest on the regular baler this season. Had to hire and round bale some instead .. and also had to drop about two hundred square bales on my field .. lots of extra work but got it done and loaded onto wagons with the help of a couple of Amish neighbors. I don’t use any of the hay here .. I sell it all to various buyers.

Yes, it’s actually bizarre how much our sexuality can affect our mental state. I remember being obsessed with a bitch i met online years ago … then i met her in person for the first time, discovered she was a landwhale, and my obsession was literally turned off in seconds, and i was thinking rationally again.

I curse our creator for giving us the biological instinct that makes us physically desire women, because they are a cancer to us.

    Rainbows exist too.

At least I’ve seen a couple of them.

As long as they lasted though.

We all like to think that we are special, but the universe doesn’t much give a f~~~ about us. We like to think that some woman’s “love” for us means that we are special. She is probably only a unicorn in the sense that you have not been with her long enough to find out otherwise.

Really dangerous/manipulative ones can instill that felling and reignite it on occasion to keep man under control.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. - Aristotle
Warrior asked Fear, “How can I defeat you?” Fear replied, “If you don’t do what I say, I have no power.”
