It is difficult to say one religion promotes violence. They are mutable. Remember all the witch hunts and pogroms against the Jews, as well as the Crusades, promulgated by Christians? And the corruption? Study the history of how the One True Church responded to the Reformation.

Why aren’t Christians still killing witches today? The Reformation. The Enlightenment. We (the West) no longer have One True Church that exerts secular power. Instead, we have dozens of denominations. This has *diluted* the power of Christianity, even though we have one religion, it does not exert centralized authority; the Pope is not in charge of the United States even though the citizenry is majority Christian.

Saudi Arabia is a perfect example of that which I speak. An UNholy alliance between Wahabbist nutjobs and spoiled despotic al Saud royalty that exports terrorism and the spread of extremist Wahabbism. Let’s say instead it was a medieval Kingdom ruled under Christendom. Then, instead of the Fashion Police maybe they’d just go around holding inquisitions, killing witches and Jews. Any better?

Could you say Christianity is violent because the Irish Republican Army killed people and deployed car bombs in the 1970’s and 1980’s when I was growing up?

The Bible is a very violent book, especially the old testament. The death penalty for apostates (those who turn away from their religion) is a common thread between Islam and the Old Testament. Islam needs a Reformation.

Much of it comes down to how it is interpreted and religion’s relation to the (now) secular State. It is ironic that some Islamic States were once MORE tolerant than Christian States in the same period, if you go back in history. Sure, Jews and Christians under Islamic rule had to pay the jiiza, but they weren’t outright executed.

That said, we’d be better off if Islam fragmented into more sects than it has today, thereby diluting the power and control over the State it exerts in some Gulf countries. Even more important, if Islam were divorced from secular government — no more official State religions.

I also don’t mind the immigrants IF THEY WORK. I very much dislike MOST of the POLITICAL refugees, though, because many of them are not working, and have been allowed in just because of civil wars and other conditions. If they had to agree to work within a certain number of months and hold down a job for, say, 80% of the next 5 years, I think that would be a better system than what we have now. Where I live it is very complicated, with multiple waves of immigrants from the Middle East, some of them are very diligent and have started businesses, others have integrated poorly into Western society, so it’s kind of a complex mix. A *very* small proportion are violent jihadists.

I feel comfortable going to the ‘Muslim market’ in my community, where they have the call to prayer played over the loudspeakers. Had some delicious ethnic food last time I was there! And felt perfectly comfortable. I’m not Muslim but I am familiar with the religion and cultures. Nobody was going to knife me. They were drinking coffee, smoking their water pipes at the cafe, and just enjoying themselves.

We screwed up by not supporting the Shah when he needed us.

The CIA were the ones, who overthrew the Shah. This is admitted on their own website. USA prefers to work with Dictators, always has.

Thanks for Posting this Gambit, I like having a Muslim perspective here on MGTOW. I have nothing, but good experiences with Muslims. Personally, I was raised in a fundamentalist Christian sect. They promoted blowing up abortion clinics and violence was acceptable, but only against “Bad People.” Much like Islam, there are many different sects with varying beliefs and practices. All the Muslims I knew were peaceful, God-fearing, Respectable folks.

Muhummad beheaded 600 jews for doing nothing = merely refusing to fight in battle.

Muhammad is the model for Muslim behavior

So as a Muslim, how am I not to conclude that killing innocent infidels (as Muhuamad did) is not right?

An interesting rebuke. Definitely worth a read. Please read the article in its entirety prior to commenting.

I think everything is up to individual interpretation. It shows you why most Muslims are peace loving people.

Yes, read the Koran. It seems to promote violence toward just about everyone. And a large percentage Islamists say the Constitution should be subservient to Sharia law. I say if they believe that,do not want to assimilate then leave.

That said, any Muslim that doesn’t subscribe to the above and wants to contribute to this society is my brother!

Be professional be polite but always have a plan to kill everyone you meet.

I met an auld fella with one eye in a PB in Helmand in 2012. He was called ‘the engineer’ by all the locals in our compound because he was a bit of a bush mechanic and kept the gennies going in the awful heat.

Most of my day was spent in full kit outside the trailer my client worked in, sitting in the shade shooting the s~~~ with the engineer and our gate guards.

He was one wily old fox. He lost his eye fighting the Russians and was a bit of a legend around the local area. He was a muj commander and killed many reds.

One day he asked me where my accent was from, he spoke a few sentences in English, but the terp usually hung out with me as my client was a no-nonsense guy and I liked a bit of banter. Having the terp there meant we got to know each other pretty well. The engineer worked out by my voice I wasn’t American. I told him I was Northern Irish and the auld boy asks me right there if the Catholics were still fighting the Protestants! I asked him how did he know that, considering Helmand Province has some of the highest illiteracy rates in the world. When he was a boy they were taught history in school and geography, science etc. Now its the Koran and that’s about it.

He hated the Taliban, and he was Pashtun himself, and they had a bounty on his head. I reckon they feared him too, because of his reputation as a red killer. He said the Taliban were not representative of Afghans or Islam or Pashtuns, and asked me to let people know that at home.

So here I am telling it. I respect an old warrior like the engineer more than the stupid politicians who get us into these wars, they abandoned the mujahedeen when the Russians left, some gratitude, they could’ve made it like the 1960s again. Instead that auld boy isn’t safe in his own village, and many people in the west think he’s just another tusken s~~~ farmer.

I have no truck with Muslims, less than I have with the cowards and weasels in our own society.

That is a hell of a good story. Thanks for sharing that Cu.

Yes, the Muslim, Jewish and Christian God is the same. His name is written in the four Hebrew characters known as the Tetragrammaton.

the world would be better off without any religion.

    We agree wholeheartedly,
    Sincerely,
    Stalin, Chairman Mao, Pol Pot.

social control was the reason behind all of it.

    I agree wholeheartedly,
    Sincerely,
    Hitler.

The word, “religion”, has as its root in a Latin word, which means to restrict or bind. Your statement, “the world would be better off without any religion”, is a religious statement in that it is a form of social control and ought to be binding or restricted.

If one believes in reason you have violated two of its fundamental principles.

    1) It is a self denying statement in that, it denies itself by making a religious statement which it denies as having value.

    2) It “smuggles” in a religious statement while denying religion.

Basically, you allow yourself something you don”t allow others; religious claims to truth.

    God bless, Michael
