We are indeed in the territory of animals and there is no place at all in the UK where the habitat is not altered by man. This does make me sad inside. However it is what it is now and we have to regulate the environment now since we can’t turn back the clock. (Personally I would like to see Scotland re-wilded in parted -bears, lynx and wolves could control the animals in such areas and we couold let the wild forest return to the bland green hills but I can’t see the Jocks going for being our safari park can you?) No wolves means deer and also foxes proliferate greatly (wolves will kill smaller carnivores as they are competition).
Do I support fox hunting -we need to clarify for our colonial cousins that “fox hunting” here means Hooray Henries on horses with a pack of dogs chasing foxes across the land and chewing it all up as they go (banned by bloody lefties but still done supposedly in a way that the hounds don’t actually catch foxes any more but of course they do) What an American might call fox hunting where a man goes out with a rifle and shoots foxes is “shooting foxes” here. I don’t have the money to ride Colin. I have never hunted. Fox hunting is the most ridiculously expensive way to kill a fox imaginable. But I gather from a former lover and from the daughters of squires that I once taught that it is great fun. These females seemed to enthuse about the social scene and the fact that you had the freedom to charge all over the fields “like you were flying in the film Avatar”. What they wore and what their rivals wore was probably more important than if they ever caught a fox. Would I let the local hunt on my land? If it got my daughters to go to the hunt ball yes I would. They might marry a rich bugger. Otherwise no they can keep out because they do cause quite a lot of damage. Do I shoot foxes -yes. I feel a bit sorry for them when I see them dead. They look so like dogs but they are not like dogs, they are foxes.
I think it is important to have sympathy for animals. I actually keep a corner that is completely wild. No gun is fired there and no steel is taken to a tree. To lose the animals would be a great loss. But we too are animals competing for resources and will you give up your niche in the world for animals? The campaigners all want someone else to give up their interests.

Oh Colin, speaking of animals, you say you play with the neighbors cat……… I went over to the x’s house today to get my weekly blowjob, but she wasn’t there so I sat down and turned on the TV. The cat jumped up into my lap and curled up and went to sleep. I wish I didn’t have to leave to go back to work. I would’ve taken a nap with him. I miss that ol’ fury animal. Yes, a cat my Auntie feeds sits on my lap out in the garden. I wish the Ginger cat would come on the blanket with me(he has done).
When I stroke the Ducks/Geese, an orb of serenity touches my soul, albeit for a brief interlude.
I am in the process of making my will as I am sure I haven’t many morrows left. I will be stipulating that I don’t want a funeral.
I wish to be cremated and have my ashes thrown(mixed with duck pellets) onto the canal bank where the bird fowl devour me and then excrete me out. The insects will then eat me, and then s~~~ me out…..and so forth, always being at one with nature.
