Wearing a pin-stripped brace and carrying a leathered briefcase, complete with a weathered face, he’s a bully boy

Checks out the forecasts, sales graphs, present and past, he’s a bully boy

Follows the stock exchange and those online who he deems strange, he’s a bully boy

Reads the financial times, regurgitates women’s crimes, hates the one who constantly rhythm’s, he’s a bully boy

Best friends Tim, hates “him” who drones on about performing rim, he’s a bully boy

Three times unsuccessful, borrow a gun from a yank friend and pull, he’s a bully boy

This one I understand. Don’t poke the bear or he will come out fighting.

Trust you are keeping well Colin.

A woman is like fire -fun to play with, can warm you through and cook your food, needs constant feeding, can burn you and consume all you own

Still upright. Still not fathomed whether that is a good pose or not.
    How are you?

Bed early and plenty of plain water.
It is quiet because I haven’t been on here! Pretentious, moi!

I’ve never read one that I could so easily understand.

Since a gun was mentioned………..I took my new gun, (that none of you selfish bastards would help me buy), out to the range yesterday. Improved with ever magazine I ran through it. I’m gonna’ like this pistol as much as my other 1911, I believe. So damned expensive, but so damned accurate. Collecting/shooting guns is an expensive hobby, but it sure is fun when you learn how to shoot the damn things.

Congratulations on your new gun hermit. What did you get?

I am contemplating getting one of those semi auto shotguns with large mags that you were talking about. Even in this liberal infested country they will let me have one since I have a good reason to put it on my firearms certificate. What model do you have?

I bought a thermal imager last week. Now that is a total game changer. Its like seeing through the eye of a god. Nothing can hide from you in the wood. I actually felt sad inside after first using it. Hunting will not be the same again. Its another step away from nature but who could refuse such a piece of kit. If men refused new hunting kit in the past we would all still be chucking pointy sticks at things. I am thinking now that I need to save up and get a thermal imaging scope too.

Guns are a lot more satisfying to spend on than women and far less trouble. When you tire of them, you just put them away until the urge comes to get them out again.

Yeah, that’s the address alright. Due to the holidays, must just be hung up in the post.

Why would you praise your arch enemy with creative writing? You really so obsessed with him? I know, I know……..it is he that is obsessed with you, in your fractured mind anyway. At least he didn’t berate you in this one, unless you consider his very post on your thread as berating.

I thought you would’ve seen me mention it in one of Colin’s other threads, but I’m happy to finally let you know.

Since I enjoy my Springfield Armory .45 ACP 1911 so much, I bought a Dan Wesson 1911 in 10 mm. Was considering a different model but got the Valor because it was more upgraded with things like Trijicon night sites.

Your question of “what model”, are you referring to a shotgun? I am currently without a shotgun as I traded one away for handgun and gave the other one to my son as a family heirloom. However, when I am able to save up some more money, I will hopefully get a Mossberg 12 gauge with a 9 round magazine. I was going to get it before I lost my mind and bought that stupidly overpriced handgun which decimated my bank account. It’ll be a while now.

I was considering a thermal scope for one of my rifles, but they’re really expensive. Funny thing is, the handgun I just bought is exactly the same price as the scope I was looking at. Would be really great for night time critter killing though. The possums and armadillos wouldn’t have a chance.

Wow that must be some awesome 1911 if it is the price of a thermal scope. The thermal scopes I have been looking at are about $5000. Maybe thermal things are priced lower in the US? Most good things seem to cost less there.

I think those large magazine shotguns are really cheap second hand here because you have to hold it on a firearms certificate not a normal shot gun certificate (yeah I know it seems to make no logical sense) and so when someone comes to sell, there are only a few buyers at that time who both have permission for one and also have not yet bought one. So I was thinking that some time I will get a good second hand one when I next am writing to the police about guns. (Its not worth all the hoop jumping unless I am writing anyway). I don’t do much with shot guns but a fully modern shotgun is a great piece of kit and so I would like one. The pigeons would be getting a surprise! So Mossberg is a good make. Thanks. Shotguns are really not my game and I don’t know much.

The thermal scope I was looking at is just under $2,000.00, but there are so many out there, I don’t know if it’s a good one or not, but the few reviews I’ve seen have been positive. Don’t know if you’ve ever heard of Les Baer 1911’s, but they are completely custom and hand fitted with very tight tolerances. I’ve been told that Dan Wesson’s come in just below them. So far I’m very pleased with it. Seems to be a very fine weapon.

Man, you’ve got some crazy ass gun laws over there. I was thinking of you and another English friend I’ve told you about when I was in the gun store making this most recent purchase and the salesman and I were discussing English gun laws compared to U.S. gun laws. When I made the final decision to trade in my old handgun for this one, it couldn’t have even taken a half an hour for me to walk out of there with a brand new pistol. He took my trade in gun and made a quick, few seconds phone call to find out that it wasn’t stolen. While I was filling out the single page paper work which are mostly yes or no questions, he took my drivers license and within minutes found out I was legal to purchase a firearm. I’m sorry to keep bragging about this, but it’s such a great feeling not having to go through several pages of paperwork nor any waiting period and walking out of the store with a new firearm. Makes me wish I was wealthy so I could do it more often.

I don’t want to tell you that Mossberg is a good make without having any practical experience with one, but from what I’ve heard about them and what they cost, I believe you’d do alright with that brand. All my life I’ve only shot my dad’s shotguns, the Belgium made Browning being the one I shot most. That old shoulder buster was a good gun, but I’m sure I’ll like the Mossberg much more, when I finally save up the money to get it. It’s less than half the price of the handgun I just bought, but I want to build my account back up before making anymore major purchases.

I just went on line today and ordered a thousand rounds of 10mm for my new handgun. That was a $350.00 purchase, but what good is a gun without ammunition? LOL Don’t know what options for buying ammo you have over there, but buying in bulk off the internet is the cheapest way over here. Way cheaper than buying at the local gun store. I got this case of 10mm for 35 cents a round where it would’ve been around a dollar a round buying locally.

I’ve heard pigeon tastes good, but I’ve never eaten any. Other than chicken and goose, the only other bird I’ve eaten is quail and pheasant. Not a fan of the bland pheasant, but I’ve always loved quail. Too bad there aren’t any left around here anymore. Man, we used to eat so much quail when I was a kid. The only bad thing was when dad missed a piece of lead shot when cleaning the birds and biting down into it and spitting it onto the plate. Painful yet fond memory. LOL
