There is another technology that offers great promise that no one seems very aware of.
It is possible to create viable reproductive cells from stem cells.
In most places they are not allowed to let the embryo’s mature but it is an otherwise proven technology.
The interesting thing is this would allow multigenerational reproduction wherein you could create embryo’s from embryo’s reducing the effective timeline for a generation of reproduction to hours instead of twenty plus years rapidly increasing the potential evolution rate without actually interfering with the genetics we lack understanding of.

The users that will push the technology are women with an inadequate cervices that makes keeping the baby in the uterus dangerous and thus gives these women an chance for a baby with her and his genetics.

Men will be a small subset of users who are smart enough to not want the legal attachments made with hiring a surrogate.

Women will eventually take to it like abortion.

Secretly women want to be men and really hold it against men that they have to perform pregnancy and child birth. Women say it all the time. Most men just can’t hear it. Try listening sometime.

Side stepping pregnancy all together would solve a lot of feminism’s failures.

The wage gap, loosing promotions at work and having to stay home and attempt to raise a child that felt love. At least in the first year or so.

After all the home is like a guilded cage to our fragile sparrows.

Women will go, have eggs removed and back to work the next day competing with the ladies of the cubicals , other women at work at to who can generate the most useless emails.

Which is what they enjoy. Being drones. Being the matrix.
