Anonymous42Back in the day…..19th century.
When tens of thousands of MEN burrowed into the earth for it’s precious industrial offerings.
Back in the day…..19th century.
When MEN toiled over the rich green mountains and valleys sawing and removing forest products for a growing civilization.
Back in the day…..19th century.
When MEN like DuPont were developing TNT and other miracle amalgamations.
Back in the day…..19th century.
When MEN built the enormous Bessemer blast furnaces that brought together the mined riches and forged the steel rails that grew to cover and entire content with tentacles reaching into every valley to trade fresh goods that once were impossible and could only be in a DREAM, Oranges in winter, how amazing all from MEN, MACHINERY, and their DREAMS!
Back in the day…..19th century.
When MEN were MEN, WOMEN were WOMEN, and THEY DIDN’T HIT EACH OTHER!
Keymaster really set my mind straight when he said (to words of this effect but likely sharpened) THEY ALWAYS GO TO THE LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR!
MGTOW (myself) have been driven by modern women to tremble in resistance to engaging in their taunts to hit them and make it PHYSICAL. Never hit a women but was hit several times by women and one tried to poke my eyes out!
Why do they do this? S~~~ TEST to see how much CONTROL they have OVER YOU!
Gentlemen, only a fool wouldn’t walk away from the most god damned SELFISH UNAPPRECIATIVE HYPOCHONDRIAC MAN HATING WOMEN TO EVER WALK THE FACE OF THE EARTH!
Hey lady, if I’m such a prick then why am I picking my zucchini to deliver to an old women that lost her husband and is poor by any standard, oh yea, her single mother daughter too, who happens to work for a living and doesn’t freebees!
MGTOW we’re real rotten Sons of Bitches, an’t we!
I go by DET45 because one of my favorite handguns is a stainless 45ACP pistol made by the now defunct Detonics Arms Corporation in Seattle Washington. The pistol I have is called the Combat Master 45ACP hence Det45…. No I am not Tuna or a troll (I’m assuming tuna is referencing a female). I am a man who was screwed by my ex-wife and I divorced her. I’ve been living a MGTOW life style for the last ten years after my divorce in 2007 without knowing what MGTOW was about. Please read my introduction posted in the intro forum. I was just trying to be humorous with some of my posts but now realize that I was presenting an incorrect image of the MGTOW cause. Lesson learned and again I am sorry for any misunderstanding.
Whoa Whoa gentlemen, I’m not advocating beating on women……LOL!
I hope you are not tuna, it will be interesting to read your new post. welcome
You must own a better Crystal ball than I
Anonymous42In that case, Welcome!
We’ve shed allot of light on who we are as men occupying this wayward civilation, and we’re not the monsters they paint us out to be, we’re actually gentle and kind when not agitated and abused or belittled and stigmatized.
We’re actually pretty nice guys that found ourselves in word that rather we not…
Whoa Whoa gentlemen, I’m not advocating beating on women……LOL!
Don’t backpedal. You flatly stated you wanted to live in the 19th Century so you could “punch them in the mouth”. Own what you wrote.
What I’m saying is woman back then (19th century) knew their place in the household and respected men because men back then didn’t take their s~~~ like men do today.
You know little about history. The term MGTOW was coined in the 19th Century.
Also there wasn’t a system in place back then that was stacked against the man and in favor of the women like there is today.
While things are worse now, they weren’t exactly rosy then.
Sorry for the misunderstanding here.
The only misunderstanding here as been on your part. MGTOW is not misogyny because MGTOW is not about women.
Do yourself a favor. Post less, read more, and work on understanding what your read.

Anonymous42Hey Bill, Were you Naval or Marine? I’m guessing Marine, or exposed to allot of them. (^^^^the mind of an officer and a gentleman). You guys are AWESOME!
Old Bill, you are right, I have a lot to learn about MGTOW and I am man enough to admit that I was presenting the wrong image of MGTOW with some of my posts. With that said I believe in the MGTOW cause and I will study this topic more before posting anymore threads. For the last time I am sorry if I have offended anyone, ok guys?

Anonymous1I love the 19th century. That was the time period when the fruits of the Renaissance really came to bear. You had the Natural Philosophers advancing Sciences and Mathematics by leaps and bounds. A whole movement of inventors and great thinkers from Michael Faraday, to Thomas Edison. By 1899 almost all of the inventions that gave birth to the 20th century had been proved out. Radio, Motors, Generators, Light Bulbs, Fluorescent lights, Radio Control boats, Automobiles, X-Rays, Vacuum Tubes and on and on. Tesla was at the peak of his abilities and he inspired a whole generation of boys like John Stone, Lee Forest, and Edwin Armstrong. Niagra Falls Power Plant was built and the Electrification of America had begun. What an amazing century. As for the women, who cares. There was far more exciting and interesting things to be doing with your time than getting married.
Hey Bill, Were you Naval or Marine?
Both, sort of. I ran reactors in the Navy for 6 years and then served in a National Guard artillery battery for a little over 20 more.

Get yourself a copy of the The “Inventions, Researches, And Writings of Nikola Tesla” or the “Nikola Tesla Treasury.” You can learn about what a Man can achieve if he “un-c~~~s” his life. If you enjoy the 19th century you would like this book. You may want to read about my patron saint Oliver Heaviside, the book is called Oliver Heaviside: Sage in Solitude. You can also go to your local University Library and get the books from the 19th century, if they haven’t gone down the memory hole yet, last time I checked they are still collecting dust on the shelves. Hehe, you know you are in good company when you are reading a book last checked out in 1903.
I will study this topic more before posting anymore threads.
Don’t swear off posting entirely. Be all means post questions, ask for opinions, and share your experiences.
Posting screed about how “weemins suk LOL” and about how you want to hurt them doesn’t help you on your MGTOW journey.

I am retire Air Force (20 Years Active Duty) and I am currently serving overseas in Kabul Afghanistan as a Department of Defense civilian. I arrived in the Afghan theater 9 March 2017 and return back to the states 21 Nov 2017. This is my third deployment.

Anonymous1At least today men can opt out and Go Our Own Way
They could do it more easily in 19th Century America though. The Federal Government hadn’t gotten so large. You could go build a Log Cabin in the woods and not worry about some tax collectors kicking your door in. Ever read “Walden” by Henry D. Thoreau?

Anonymous1Praising the “good old days” is nothing more than historical illiteracy.
Civilizations rise and fall. When a Civilization is in decline, the people look back on the “Good Old Days” with rosy glasses. They tend to think it was better than it was. In some ways, it was better though. Just as Rome looked backed upon its glory days, when the barbarians were at the gate, so it is with us, who yearn for the 19th Century. There is no doubt in my mind. Our civilization is well into it’s decline phase, and that is based on my historical literacy.
I do not have any intentions of hurting any woman nor have I ever hurt a woman physically. I will say that I’ve said some nasty things to my Ex wife when I found out she was cheating on me and playing me. That I’m guilty of.

Anonymous42Listen to Old Bill, he’s showing you where the tether ropes are that stop you from flying, eventually soaring into another dimension! MGTOW have learned the art of wrenching our own mental engines to perform superior to conventional thinking!
Coincidentally, allot of our philosophy mirrors scripture perfectly, they’re the ones that are blind and cannot see that men were not meant to live without sovereignty.
Maintain your sovergnty and you maintain you mental health, any deviation is cancerous thinking that if left unchecked will likely kill you!
We have Herbivor brothers in Japan, one reciently wrote a letter and it mirrors our logic that developed continents, cultures, and worlds apart, same as the black community in the United States, we all became MGTOW as the demographics show coinciding with the popularity and growth of feminism and all controlling gynocentrism.
We’re natural organic men choosing to live naturally under natural law, fleeing the best of gynocentrism and it’s soldiers found in feminism.
They could do it more easily in 19th Century America though.
That’s true.
The Federal Government hadn’t gotten so large.
That’s true also.
You could go build a Log Cabin in the woods and not worry about some tax collectors kicking your door in.
That’s not quite true. After all, Thoreau claimed to have decided to live in the woods due to a poll tax.
Ever read “Walden” by Henry D. Thoreau?
Walden is a collection of lies sanctified by time and Thoreau an abject fraud.
Thoreau didn’t build the cabin and the cabin wasn’t exactly in the woods. It was in what can best described as Ralph Waldo Emerson’s backyard. As for solitude and self-sufficiency, Thoreau walked almost daily the few miles into Concord where he spent his time in a tavern, he sent his laundry out to be washed, and his mother visited most Sundays with a hamper of food. Thoreau claimed one of his “reasons” for living in the cabin was his opposition to the poll tax, but one of his aunts had already paid those taxes.
Thoreau was fortunate in two respects. First, he was an intimate and protege of Ralph Waldo Emerson and Emerson was the leading light of the Transcendentalism movement. Anything Thoreau wrote would be championed by Emerson and thus gain an audience.
Second, Thoreau died relatively young at 44 from bronchitis which exacerbated his TB. Most of his writings involved natural history with an emphasis on botany. His body of literary work was relatively small; a few books of poetry, Walden, some essays, and the like. Because his philosophical oeuvre was so small and because his “booster” Emerson outlived him by nearly 20 years, Thoreau and his work received “good press” long enough to reach the point where it was praised more often than read.
After active duty I returned to college to finish my degree and found myself in an English lit course being taught by a grad student who loved Thoreau. My paper minutely dissecting Walden and Thoreau actually brought her to tears. So much so, in fact, that she couldn’t bring herself to grade it and passed it along to the professor responsible for the course. He gave me an A, naturally, and then took me aside to remark that debunking deeply held beliefs is rarely welcome.

That I’m guilty of.
That is something we’re all guilty of.
Indifference is our goal here and it should become yours; what’s called the “No F*cks Given” or “Zero F*cks Given” mindset. I post this often and it’s always worth mulling over:
“If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment.”
– Marcus Aurelius, MeditationsGood ol’ Aurelius is reminding us that we choose to get angry or disappointed or enraged. If instead we accept that women will act like women, we won’t become angry or disappointed or enraged by their actions.
Women are what they are. Accept that, choose not to care about those things beyond your control, and begin to appreciate true freedom.
Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

Anonymous1That’s not quite true. After all, Thoreau claimed to have decided to live in the woods due to a poll tax.
Yes, I understand your point. “Walden” was a poor example on my part. I agree with your assessment of Thoreau. My point is this, with a smaller Federal Government it would have been easier back then to bug out in the woods far away from any cities. There were a lot risks no doubt, life was very hard (Thoreau couldn’t have done it). You could possibly have a chance at some real freedom though. The Tax Collectors simply wouldn’t be able to find you (I’m thinking deep woods in Appalachia or somewhere like that). Compare that with today, even if you go off grid, there will still be any number of Government agencies that will harass for Permits and Taxes and Bulls~~~. That is my ideal example of a Man living life on his own with real independence and freedom, something not possible today.
I also know that life in the 19th century was a horror show for most people. For one thing the diseases you mentioned earlier being a major cause of misery for the average person. Factory Towns that paid you in company credits. They had to buy everything from the company store and they were slaves to the company in all but name only. Then when workers went on strike you had guys like the Pinkerton’s, who would come and gun your whole tent city down for their employer.
Indeed this topic makes the OP a suspicious character, So I went to read most of the topic Det45 started, well it doesn’t look good for you OP. Those topics you started also have a funky smell
to them. From what I’ve read I would say 60% possible tuna for this new member, which ain’t too good in my book! if not a tuna we got someone wild to say the least.
