On another thread I mentioned the scarist thing I ever heard hillary say. When asked a couple of years ago about her bookl sales tanking she replied: “The country just doesn’t deserve me”. Yes I think WW3 is coming. People in the west seem to want it. When that Malaysian airliner was shot down over the Ukraine (why was it flying over a war zone???) people carried on like Putin personally ordered it, which is insane – but people seem to WANT to believe it. A lot of folks, and yes I am thinking tradcons and neo-cons and cons in general – seem to miss the old days of having the Soviets as an enemy and seem unable to deal with the new reality. So, the Russians are always bad / evil / to blame. Every aggression from America / NATO is self-defense. Every matching defensive act from Russia is aggression. They WANT a war.

I am preparing, to be sure, because whether its war, or hurricanes (yes the climate is f~~~ed, open your eyes) or the collapse of social structures due to feminism, or a terrorist attack, it seems we are headed for the fall of the West. I’m working on building a generator. I have water tanks. I’m stockpiling, growing, arming.

But if it IS WW3 and a nuclear winter comes, well, we’ve had it. It’s as simple as that. There’ll be NO ozone layer left after a full nuclear exchange, too.

Now I can agree with Russky about Trump. Granted Trump wasn’t my first pick, or my second. As a Constitutional conservative I was a Ted Cruz supporter. Trump isn’t perfect but no one is. He at least loves the USA and respects the Constitution. Hillary on the other hand is a dyed in the wool Alinsky-ite. A single minded ideologue with no conception of individual rights, liberties etc. For such a person the world/history/reality begins and ends with them. And only their own “vision” matters. That is what we have had for the last eight years and four more years of the same thing is unconscionable.

At the end of the day the white house is going to be occupied by one or the other and for my money I’d rather have the person who ISN’T responsible for anyone’s death.

I agree with russky on almost all of his posts, and I was on an opposite side. I’ve been in this business a long time, mostly on the trigger side, and a lot on the ROE side. At this point, if you think Hillary is better, no one can help you. I don’t think my typing would do mutch good. Listen to what russky says, he sees what is coming. I rather eat s~~~ and die than support Hillary. I clearly said in my original post I think they are all sociopaths.

I respect trump for what he has achieved. He is a great business man and has many good qualities. But he is a liar and I don’t trust what he says. I have no doubt he’s the better choice between the two.

Could this have something to do with it? I just don’t understand why people think he is a sleazy liar since I haven’t seen anything like that in him… And I’ve seen dozens of his speeches in their entirety since he became a candidate. This is all nonsense. Those are smart men but they are incorrect today.

Good men TRIED to do things, but then are smacked down by all the blue pill men and oligarch apologists. The game is different now. With the power of mass media, the oligarchs can shape the population any way they want.

It’s no longer a comparatively few evil people, with good men standing up to them, and a silent, stupid majority that is either impartial or eventually sides with good.

Occupy Wall St. should have been a landmark event with the people uniting to take down banks, the way the people punished the bankers after the Great Depression, but this time mass media made fools out of them and the people backed the banks.

There is not a thing we can do. At some point you have to just take care of yourself, and let people get what they want. If the horse you’re trying to lead to water keeps rearing up and kicking you, you are not doing something noble by getting kicked to death. No matter what anyone else tells you. Even if you led it to water, it still wouldn’t drink anyway.

I understand what you’re saying and I agree – I’m not an idealist anymore. And if there is a major crackdown and s~~~ hits serious fan – I’ll swallow my pride, STFU and ghost. But in my heart I’m never giving in and losing hope and faith. It won’t be my first time living under a totalitarian regime, so I know how to act. But until then – you’ll have to suffer me speaking my mind. I moved 3500 miles to have 1st amendment rights. Constitution hasn’t been officially burned yet, so gotta enjoy it while I still can.
Exploring down the rabbit hole and absorbing all the news and info is one of my only remaining passions in life. I won’t be fighting the man, but I ain’t going to internment camps either. I’m slick as a weasel when things get rough
