My perception is that arguments over whether MGTOW is biblical, unbiblical, compatible with Christianity, or not… all miss the bigger issue.

The way I see it, Men Going Their Own Way isn’t a religion. It’s just something that men do because they’re tired of getting shat on and are finally saying, “enough.”

So can atheists be MGTOW? Of course. Can Christians be MGTOW? Of course. What do we have in common? We’re tired of getting shat on.

I haven’t honestly put a great deal of research into this, but there are several translations that I understand are true to the intent of the original.

My personal reading Bible is the New Geneva Study Bible, which is a New King James translation. I’m partial to the style and flow, although I certainly appreciate others as well.

I recall there was some controversy a few years ago about some new translation that many conservative Christians didn’t like, but I don’t remember which one it was.

I think it was the NIV that changed the word sodomy for example, there are many more. Me personally, as a protestant, the King James(1611) is the only reliable one, although this I am sure has been mistranslated from the original Greek on occasion.

Exactly… there is no accountability or responsibility for women in today’s society, at least nothing like what men have to shoulder. And anything that threatens this paradigm, directly or indirectly, real or perceived, must be destroyed! Because we wouldn’t want to make these poor weeemynz feel uncomfortable!

not a very good one.
religion is not part of MGTOW.
it should be placed to the side unless relevant.
it rarely is.
politics however might have religious components,
but i try not to get side tracked by it.
but sometimes,
you have to call it like it is.
