This apology is being made public to all those in the forums. This apology is directed at Old School.

I am sorry for being a drunken asshole last night in the live chat. I can differentiate between a citizen and their government. I am sorry.

I’m a drunk. I have major problems with drug and alcohol addiction. I harm myself on a daily basis for reasons I do not understand. I enjoy causing myself pain and chaos. It is stupid. It has become my norm.

You men have been so kind to me and have taught me so much that I would not have otherwise figured out on my own.

I would ask that any of you who pray ask the Lord to watch over me. I am scared of myself. Nobody, save The Lord, can harm me like I harm myself.

Again, @oldschool, I am sorry for my words towards you. They were rants of a drunk.

BJS: I know exactly how you feel, brother, in day to day life we put on a good face for everyone, but every once in a while we are seen with the mask off. It happens. Dont walk from the community that you are (most likely) getting the best therapy from.

I was a drinking alcoholic from 2010 to 2016. When I realized I was in a dark hole I could not get myself out of I went to my primary care physician and asked him for help. He referred me to a pharmacological psychiatrist whom I saw a couple of times. The psychiatrist prescribed a drug that lessened the urge to drink. I took it for six months. He also referred me to a therapist who helped me discover why I am an alcoholic. Haven’t had a drink since September, 2016. This all happened because I didn’t want to be a drunk any longer.

I urge you to seek help if you really want to stop drinking. It is available and there are people who will help you accomplish it. They do this every day, they won’t judge you or shame you. It won’t be easy but your life will be so much better if you live it sober.

The only difference here is that I’v chosen gaming, anxiety and depression over alcohol at some point in life. But it was also very stupid and I harmed myself. Now Im way better. There is a white stripe in life, after a dark one, I imagine life like it’s a zebra.

You are aware of what you do wrong, make it right and work on it. You will get better. Start bit by bit.
