@paul23: You are not an alpha. There’s no such thing as an alpha male human. Alpha is a term for describing canine behavior. The concept doesn’t apply to humans, and from your mastery of English grammar and typing acumen I seriously doubt you are a dog.

Twostep, I believe in the quote below of your comment. It’s what goes best for MGTOW.

Oh well, no harm done. I’ll give you points for being c~~~y, and I mean that in a complimentary sense. C~~~y is good.

    Welcome!

(I would upvote your posts and give you more stars, but for some reason the upvote button isn’t working for me right now.)

-Oldsage: You don’t need to proclaim “alphas”, the actions tells you.
-sidecar: since we’re not in caveman time, emotions has predominated the whole attraction scene. It’s either you’re emotionally strong, emotionally weak or whatever the case maybe may label you alpha or not.

Alpha Beta Cheetah male whatever, is PUA talk. Making a pseudo hierachy over other men by criteria women find attractive. Why’d you even care? Be a human being.

Yep, what you said, oh @unbelievableyetnot.

If only that were true it would be soooo much simpler.

It’s either you’re emotionally strong, emotionally weak or whatever the case maybe may label you alpha or not.

Human behavior is far more complex than that. It obeys some very simple rules, but the emergent behaviors that come from those rules are ridiculously complex. Far more than can be quantified on any single axis, be it alpha versus beta, strong versus weak, or whatever. Even the guys who made dungeons and dragons figured that out when they came up with their almost as ridiculously simple two axis lawful / chaotic x good / evil system.

You’re much better off describing humans in terms of blends of archetypes than on any sliding scale.

“No, you’re not an “alpha” male because alphas aren’t introverts. Alphas are social titans and not wallflowers.”

https://introvertedalpha.com/ Look up this site my friend, it says everything about what a “true alpha” really is.
    – A true alpha doesn’t need someone to wipe his “ass”
    – A true alpha doesn’t need constant validation
    – A true alpha NEVER seeks helps from peers, he prefers to go and do it alone by himself.

Comparing a alpha and a introvert is a contradiction. A better term would be a independent person, not a alpha. I don’t know, If you are confusing the term, or you just don’t know any better.

Bill, it’s not nice to call people “stupid”

You better grow a thicker skin. The Op that calling you a moron is just pointing out on how flawed your idea is, Not insulting you as a person.

Actions have consequences and consequences have prices. Cause and effect at work.

Meant to say ‘not possible’. I guess we do not have an edit button.

Oh and ps paul. That person Sarah Jones or whoever she is who “coined” that term “alpha interverted” needs to get their head checked. Even those two words don’t sound right when put together.

If you say so. Like some people have already said, do not define your life by your disdain of women.. or how “I don’t need women blah blah”. I know it feels good but that shouldn’t be the base. It should be no more than an opinion.

As far as being alpha goes, you can be pretty much anything you want to be. You don’t need to ‘please’ anyone here. If you’re happy being an alpha, its good for you.

Everyone has different definitions for defining that term. For me, alpha is someone who has a lot of achievements under his belt; doesn’t matter if he desn’t give a f~~~ about things; nor does it matter if he has never had sex or gamed women…. he is the master of what he does best….and has proof of his achievements.

All this “I’m alpha, you’re beta” is not beneficial to the much-needed cohesion among a brotherhood. Don’ stress over it.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

The idea of alpha, beta, zeta etc, how about we just call ourselves men. There is no need to be divided on personality traits, especially not when the term “Alpha” comes from explaining the behavior of a dog, as sidecar pointed out. We have differing traits and behavior, but why should we try to label ourselves and eachother, with the same terms women love to use on us ?

Yeah, if he’s trying to sell something here, it would be better to label it as “independent.” That alpha, beta, omega stuff is just a lot of posturing. Introverts aren’t looking to be “alphas.” They’re looking to play to their strengths, which traditionally include independence.

Yeah, if he’s trying to sell something here…

I don’t think Paul is trying to sell something. I do think, however, that Paul has been sold something.

The website he provided a link to sets off all sort of alarms, especially the lifestyle “coaching” and “free” consultation parts.

I do hope Paul hasn’t given them any money.

Yeah, I looked around the website. It’s a coaching site for dating. It teaches men to be “badasses on the dating scene” or something like that. The founder, Sarah Jones, started out as a “life coach” and now runs a dating service for Silicon Valley yuppies. Here’s a profile of the founder on the Yahoo style page: https://www.yahoo.com/style/san-francisco-dating-coach-earns-185616595.html

The whole “alpha male” thing is just a marketing angle. It’s just dating advice for introverted technogeeks. Not a bad thing, but it has nothing to do with “alpha males” per se.

Yeah, I think it’s 30 minutes. I like to edit after posting, and sometimes I end up playing Beat the Clock trying to get in my edits before the button disappears.
