In reply to: Is Chivalry Dead

    Anonymous

As was stated above, chivalry was an invention on how men would treat each other.

Women co-opted chivalry and mixed it with “Courtly Love”.

Writers, musicians and poets popularized “chivalry” as courtly love and thus deference to other military men was now transferred from men to women.

In my opinion, men and women haven’t changed much in 150,000 years so the real root of chivalry is much deeper than our modern history tells us.

Read the Greek plays and you will see elements of chivalry. That makes it 2500 years old that we know of.

The elimination of chivalry has been one of the best wins by men in the feminist wars turning the table on feminists and causing a rift in the female population that could have helped Trump get elected.

    Hillary thinks so.

Women that wanted chivalry voted for Trump, she says.

I don’t think this is political play.

It won’t happen because Ryan won’t support it. He wants to leave without causing any waves.

US politics is an utter joke. I don’t think anyone’s going to be impeached, but the left will continue to pile on Trump and distract him in the off chance they can ruin to the point where the public is ready to get rid of him just to make it stop.

I’m starting to believe that there is no way this will end peacefully. The left and right are so far apart I don’t see how there can be any reconciliation. The left will never give up their insanity and the right will refuse to go insane. The only thing I think could really resolve this is if a more central democrat manages to gain control of the presidency. That way the left can feel like they won, while in reality we move towards a more sane way of governing.

    Ok. Then do it.

    http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/385575-impeachment-looms-large-in-white-house-midterm-plans

President Trump wants to step up efforts to protect Republican control of the House in hopes of avoiding an impeachment debate and congressional investigations if Democrats seize the chamber, according to GOP sources.

“It is super important to the White House, and really the whole White House is very focused on it,” said a source familiar with strategy talks about protecting the House majority.

“The president is expected to dial up efforts in this regard during and after the August recess,” the source added.

While Democratic leaders in the House are playing any talk of impeachment very carefully, the idea of impeaching Trump has strong support within the party’s liberal base.

The National Enquirer are the mercenaries of media. While the corporate media hate President Trump, the National Enquirer will go where the money is.

Anyone who believes that the whole situation surrounding Michael Cohen and his clients (including President Trump) having their attorney-client privilege violated is a win for democrats is a fool.

In this situation, where one side is having the law unjustly applied (President Trump and his allies), while the other side ignores the law (the democrats and globalists), the stakes have been raised to the point where the government and people may divide and collapse into civil war.

This is the cover to their latest issue:

More political play, like the Democrats suing everyone from Russia, to Trump, to Wikileaks, and maybe Breitbart, and Anonymous. I really lost track. You do things like this, hoping things will break, so you can keep things in the news cycle. It is a way to score points with Trump supporters in the GOP, without actually doing anything. Politicians like to do that: Don’t actually do anything but show that you are trying. They didn’t do anything either to try to protect Mueller either. It is all posturing.

So, this is what the bottom of a swamp looks like, miles and miles of crap that really doesn’t do anything.

I don’t think that’s true. I don’t think people want what’s stolen from them returned, they just want to stop the bleeding. They don’t want to pay taxes to fund foreign aid, entitlements, regulations and all the things the constitution never said the government should provide. It’s not even that they disagree with money spent in these areas, just that want to take back their choice in the matter.

I would have agreed with you before the reaction to the Trump tax-cut by the Trump supporters became known.

There is a undercurrent of malice by many American workers towards those whom have stolen from them and abused them for decades. They have been made to hurt and they are enjoying see how the changes in the Trump tax-cut are harming the parts of the population whom had hurt them.

They accuse the American workers of being “fascists” because they are scared of the truth. That the world has turned the American workers, whom are heavily armed, into classic workers style communists.

    Well, you can’t fix stupid.

This is shown as the “stupid” become more threatening and violent towards the nationalist communist Trump supporters with each passing day.

Conservative House lawmakers draft articles of impeachment against Rosenstein

A group of conservative House lawmakers have begun drafting a resolution that calls for the impeachment of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, the top Department of Justice (DOJ) official overseeing special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

The impeachment document makes a series of charges against Rosenstein, the latest sign of escalating efforts among conservatives to oust the DOJ’s No. 2 official, according to a copy of the draft obtained by The Hill.

There has been no indication, however, that Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and other House GOP leaders will act on the measure, having largely remained silent amid calls for his removal by hard-line conservatives.

Conservative members led by Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), chairman of the House Freedom Caucus and a close ally to President Trump, drafted the eight articles of impeachment against Rosenstein.

——-More in link. A few points to be made. Rosenstein should at the very least be facing charges for his past action.
Liberals are so focused on attempting to take out Trump they do no realize the impact the actions they are taking now will have on future presidents, even there own.
Without leadership in the house (Ryan) this may go no where fast.

Tax cuts actually mean an increase in tax revenue, however, without spending reductions in parallel, it doesn’t work. Spending is the obvious issue and comes off the backs of the middle class.

Bob, no offense, but I have heard this same statement over and over again.

The comment ignores what many people have been actively ignoring. That being the ideological shift by the working class outside of the major cities, the so-called Trump supporters.

While President Trump is a capitalist, many of his supporters are not.

After forty years of bulls~~~ of save what you have and hold the line, along with insults and abuse by the rest of the world, the working U.S. population and former working class of the U.S. population are no longer conservative, nor capitalists.

Look at where the support for President Trump comes from. When President Trump suggested Mexico, someone else besides them, pay for the border wall, these U.S. citizens went crazy with support for the idea of having foreigners pay for something, for once.

Look at the support for the Trump tax-cut. This was not only tax-cut for the working class, but the cap on SALT deductions have put the financial screws to the rich and the “progressive” states in the U.S.

From comments I have read for the last several months I believe that Trump supporters are more happy about those whom have hurt them finally suffering than actually getting more money back in tax-cuts.

The American workers are no longer interested in debts or charity. They want the entire pie and have the rest of the world pay for their benefits and wealth.

In response the rest of the world accuses the American workers of being “fascists”. But, the truth is far, far worse.

They accuse the American workers of being “fascists” because they are scared of the truth. That the world has turned the American workers, whom are heavily armed, into classic workers style communists.

The American workers are not going to pay for this mess. As far as they are concerned they are the victims of the rest of the world stealing their wealth and futures. And while they have been abused, those whom abused them foolishly allowed them to arm themselves to the teeth.

All that is left is the spark or sparks to set off this firestorm.

Personally, I plan to have beer and popcorn as I enjoy the show.

Do you look around you and think that everyone else is doing better than you? Do you see everyone else driving a nice car, living in a nice house, and spending money on everything under the sun? You might think “jeeze, everyone is richer than I am.” Well, don’t be fooled. It’s usually the people that are showing off their wealth that are the poorest. Remember, your net worth is your assets minus your liabilities. You can “own” a lot of stuff, yet have a negative net worth. Just because you can use it doesn’t mean it’s yours.

Unless you have a LOT of money, you don’t have s~~~ if you’re constantly buying stuff to show off. Now Trump? He can both show off and be wealthy. You’re not Trump, and chances are the people around you aren’t either. They’re up to their eyeb~~~~ in debt. I have a net worth of several million dollars, yet I drive a 13 year old car. But that’s why I have a net worth of several million dollars – I don’t go around spending $100,000 on a new car every 2 years.

I actually just bought a new car – a 2009. I went to look at the brand new Cadillac Escalades (I always drive big SUV’s) and they freaking sucked! Not to mention the nearly $100,000 price tag. So I said f~~~ it and bought a 2009 for less than 1/3 the price. I wouldn’t have even done that except that my 2005 Excalade is rusting out. I bought the 2009 because it’s been rust-proofed and only has about 60,000 miles on it. Should last me another 10 years at least.

I have to have a big SUV because of the crazy drivers around here. If I drove something small, I’d be dead. I’ve been in 6 accidents I think over the past 8 years, NONE of them my fault…and I only drive a few thousand miles per year! In one of those accidents, the guy driving the other car almost died. Had to be airlifted to the hospital. I didn’t have even a scratch.

I live in a big house, but I got it for a steal of a deal. It was appraised for $529,000 but I got it for $362,500. For that price, it costs the same for some dump by the high-wires where I live. The increase in my net worth was no small bonus either. And if real estate prices crash, this thing will probably be worth what I paid for it at worst.

S~~~ is crazy expensive these days, but I’m doing the best I can. You have to have a house, and you have to have a car. Unfortunately I have to buy a big SUV so that I remain safe, and I have to buy a house in a nice area so I don’t get killed in my sleep by some random criminal who broke into my house. The crime rates in neighboring cities are INSANE! Several people get shot on a daily basis in a city about 20 miles from my house. I had to go into that city at night a few years back and heard f~~~ing gunshots. I haven’t stepped foot in that city since, at night or during the day.

But anyway, my point is if you want to be wealthy, one thing you must do is stop spending money! At least until you can obtain some income producing assets so that your living expenses are paid for. THEN you can spend part of what you make on fun stuff. I personally own rental property. It’s worked out very well for me. There are other income producing assets, but few generate a 14% yearly ROI like my rentals do.

The main difference between wealthy people and poor people is that wealthy people own income producing assets. If they stop working, they still get paid. Wage slaves have to work. If they’re not working, they don’t get s~~~. As soon as they come home from work, the income production stops and doesn’t resume until they get back to work again. You’re basically a slave. Break the chains. Obtain income producing assets.

Please. Mexico isn’t doing anything. Let’s not twist facts around so they sound more interesting.

Mexico was never going to fund the wall directly. What Trump always meant was that Mexico is dependent on us, so he was going to leverage that relationship to fund the wall. I don’t think that’s really changed. However, it looks like we will need to get going on the wall before we can leverage trade and such to provide funding. Even then, who knows whether that will really fund the wall fully.

The only facts here are this: Trump said that funds would come from Mexico to pay for the wall (whether or not upkeep would also come from them, is unknown). There are no funds coming from Mexico now to pay for the wall, so Trump needs to threaten a shutdown of the U.S government, to get funds. In short, due to no funds are coming from Mexico to pay for the wall, Trump is threatening a shutdown. Due to Trump’s promises, and intentions, Mexico is responsible for this. The only may here isn’t whether or not Mexico will do it, but whether or not Trump will.

That is the only facts here. Everything else is a bunch of puff in the mind. Do you know exactly how Trump is going to extract funds from Mexico to pay for the wall? I mean scenarios. There isn’t anything here. Name some, or it doesn’t exist. It isn’t facts. Go ahead and name them. Trump hasn’t.

In short, if there were actual funds coming from Mexico, then this threat wouldn’t need to be done. Well, unless you consider Mexico paying for the wall, just a negotiating ploy to trick America into paying for it, that won’t actually happen. All you have is this supposed negotiating genius by Trump, that hasn’t manifested itself. It didn’t repeal and replace Obamacare. It really hasn’t done anything, but you keep trusting in it.

The problem with this form of negotiating is that it isn’t the person who you are negotiating with that gets stuck with something, it is your side that does.

Play hardball with Mexico, and Mexico will ask the United States to ends its drug war. It will make deal with the drug lords there, and do whatever it can to survive.

Anyhow, tell me how America will extract cash for the wall. I mean, go on record now and state how it will be done. If you can’t, you are the one who possesses no facts here. And the only twisting is me trying to untangle a mess of vagueness meaning nothing. I have to, I am dealing with someone who tweets covfefe as a word in an incomplete sentence. Apparently language consistency isn’t a strength of the Donald.

Obama was in office for eight years and nothing in Chicago changed.

Exactly, in fact not much changed from Bush to Obama, and not much will change from Obama to Trump, nothing big anyhow that helps out the average American or changes foreign policy.

Kanye may just see that the game is rigged and this is his form of trolling the hive. Maybe he had big hopes with Obama and he turned out to be more of the same… And he knew Clinton would be yet more of that same so he backed Trump…
