Nothing special man. I usually wear my shoes until they disintegrate from my feet. I’m a tee shirt (no logo) and jeans guy…always have been all my life. I decided to treat myself and buy a new pair of shoes because my old ones were getting beat up and I thought I’d make a change.

I knew a bloke who was incredibly wealthy but he would dress like a slob, more like homeless almost.

So one day he walks into a luxury car seller dressed in dirty shorts, a singlet, thongs (flip flops for you Yanks) and carrying a bag. He looks around and then waits at the desk. The staff ignore him, surely he can’t afford anything here!

I know. I treated all of my customers equally.

Some intentionally come in cheap clothes to see if you are a gold digger (cheating and overbilling) businessman or if you take them seriously.

I figure after going through this thread, it’s better to avoid wearing nice clothes unless your job requires you to do so. Hell, I might end up dressing like a hobo just for the hell of it for the most part.
