You need to acquire resources and this means that while minimalism has benefits that MGTOW ought to access, it only goes so far and at some point you are going to have to cross their radar (but do it as wisely as possible).

Then I still have to pay car insurance even if I only drive a couple times a year. That alone costs more than my car is worth EVERY SINGLE YEAR.
There was a time in this country when you could live off the land (YOUR LAND). Now we have all been reduced to corporate serfdom in some form or another. Our “Feudal Overlords” are Banks and Insurance Companies combined with Corrupt State Bureaucrats.
The Historical Example for what we are going through here in USA: Fall and Decline of the Roman Empire. The Feudal System began when the once Free COLONI, who were homesteading and had rights to their own land and labor, lost all their rights and no longer owned anything. That was a gradual process, but that really marked the beginning of the Feudal Era. The same thing happened here in U$A.
Minimalism today means working just enough to survive and paying as little taxes as you can. Ghosting in public and doing the bare minimum. Hope and pray that you don’t get that “Knock on the Door” one day and get charged with crimes that you didn’t commit. Otherwise enjoy your stay in “FREEDOM LAND.”

We should get comfortable with ourselves enough to enjoy and look forward to being alone. Maybe it’s just playing word games but I prefer the following: What matters is what makes YOU content, being content starts from within and the paths to a state of contentment are many but the destination is ONE and the SAME.

Personally, there are things around me that don’t make me happy, but I can learn to be content with the way they ARE, and I find that to be enough.

I don’t take issue with being fiercely independent. I’m like that. I won’t take orders from anyone; doctors, parents, peers, bosses. And I view everything as potentially stifling to my freedom of movement. Hospitals, cars, public events, family events…. I don’t do what they tell me, I don’t stay where they tell me to stay.

But there is a difference between how you run your personal life, and understanding the macro view of human governance and civilization. There will be rules and there will be borders. There will be taxes and there will be failings of governance. It’s not an easy project to come down out of the trees and build an interstellar civilization. Progress is slow.

I hate all the same things you hate, in fact the homeless black people in my area are a major problem. I just chased off another one of them from hustling people who are trying to pay for parking. These blacks try to work the parking lots doing rag tag carwashing and all kinds of s~~~. Its killing small business in the area.

So yeah, I get it. It’s all connected. I’m fighting to earn a living so I can eat and sleep safe at night. I like the system and although its not perfect, Id rather support it than abandon it. It needs improvement, I know. When something needs fixing, we don’t trash it or abandon it. With that attitude, we may as well go back to Neolithic times.
