It doesn’t matter if you are a good guy or the bad guy, society will extract value from you and your work one way or another, take it from my father that he was a drug lord and he made millions and lost it over night when he got raided in hes own house, Society extracts value from men in a multitude of different ways like jail (Most of the prison institutions are private corporations), Wars (Bankers always cash in when they bet for both sides), divorce (you know the score), the government coming after you for back taxes etc, etc, etc, etc….
We are peons and society plays into our minds by showing us nice illusions like ownership or supposed accomplishments, the one thing i noticed is that if you ever made more than 6 figures it’s like having a giant target symbol on your back, both the government and the matrix will be out to get you, they will do it in multitude of ways, some nicer than others sure but it all ends up hurting you and not helping you either way in the long run.
I always see different groups (some racial specific) complaining about the welfare state, but there are a lot of veterans, boomers and people that worked or work a lot cashing in these benefits, the government always solves solvency problems by starting proxy conflicts in areas of the world in which the United States wants to bring people from, we bring plenty of Cubans, Venezuelans, Ukrainians and people from other parts of the world that are either experiencing harsh economic conditions thanks to the sanction policies of the united states or due to direct conflicts directly caused by us.
No one seems to notice that the U.S. is always replenishing the slaves, they don’t care if the whites or blacks go lower in their respective populations, they want a fresh set of slaves to dangle the citizenship to like a carrot on a stick, make them marry, reproduce and work 20+ years before they get the citizenship, all the while Americans born and bred here are suffering in the streets homeless and hopeless, a lot of us leave the country because the housing situation has gotten worst, the crime and business climate aren’t much better either, but if you listen to the knuckleheads in the media and the idiots that follow/listen to them all they seem to spit is that “everything is good and America is growing” every time i walked outside that was NOT the case.
If you took a grant from the government, student loans or even filed your kids as dependent to get that sweet 2k-3k a year don’t complain about people who are on benefits, you are also getting your part in this system we all payed into, when i left the U.S. i made sure to cash in all the money i gave to SS in a single check into my bank account, i just love the people that talk s~~~ in the news, in public about people that are just trying to survive with 700 dollars, but we don’t mention hes highness trump spending millions bombing an empty airfield, say what you want but i am tired of the BS excuses us Americans make for this petty excuse for a society.

By being a minimalist, one can minimize how much the parasites can take while still having the one thing everyone has until they die, that being “time”. A minimalist works just enough to afford to survive with some creature comforts, but he still has time to enjoy life by taking up hobbies. Reading a book, or even writing a book. Painting. Playing music. Etc.
A bachelor, whom has not interesting in relationships, nor children, can live off a very small amount of money.
A minimalist stays below the poverty line to keep the government from taking much wealth from him to pay for everyone else.
A minimalist prevents lawyers, judges, government agents, ex-wives from profiting off of him as a wage slave through corrupt courts with alimony and child support laws.
And it is next to impossible to make a slave out of a minimalist as long as he has access to guns and ammo. If society tries to make a slave out of him, with his firearms and ammo, he will take a few of those whom come after him, then he will make a quick, painless exit out of this life and into the afterlife.
A minimalist is the silent enemy to society because he will not contribute to a society that only wishes to exploit his efforts and deny him any rewards.
The best part is that the idea of the “minimalist” is an very old concept.
The first recorded person to acknowledge the concept was Alexander the Great, whom committed on Diogenes.
Alexander the Great stated, “But truly, if I were not Alexander, I would be Diogenes.”
Alexander the Great felt that if he could not be king of all he knew of, then he would want to be a man with no obligations, nor responsibilities, which is exactly the type of man Diogenes was.
This is what a minimalist strife for. To be completely free of society demands, while enjoying his life.

As for “great wars”, it is looking like the next “great war” for the U.S. will be an internal war. The same could be said for a number of other nations, especially European nations where like the U.S., nationalism is on the rise and the nationalists are bucking against the control of the globalists.
Your defeatist attitude needs to be readjusted. The globalists have overplayed their hand. Also, many among the younger generations of the globalists and their servants seem to lack the subtleties that allowed the globalists to remain in power for so long.

While that might be the intent, the truth of the matter is the nation is divided between the large city populations and almost everyone else. It is urban versus rural populations. This is reflected in a county by county result of the elections and by a breakdown of wealth. The large cities hold most of the wealth, while the rural areas are much poorer. But, the large cities lack firearms, while the rural populations have armed themselves to the teeth.
Americans have been kept ignorant for far too long that i do not trust like you in a healthy outcome for us two will come from what you are describing

Now i will add that living a minimalist lifestyle will save you a lot of trouble, but the laws that are currently on the books or are coming out wont spare you even if you made right life choices.
I will add that you are born alone and will DIE alone, doesn’t matter if you have the wife and kids, What matters is what makes YOU happy, happiness starts from within and the paths to happiness are many but the destination is ONE and the SAME.

They tell us in history books how terrible it was that the peasants of old owed their lords their labour and could not move to another area without their permission. Finance runs on credit today and credit makes obligations. You want a house -then you are obliged to work 20 years for the mortgage and the company that arranges the mortgage charges an admin fee. You are saving for your retirement, then you give your hard earned money over to a pension company who invest your money, so that they become creditors of another company and then they charge you an admin fee. Is anything new being made by these debt transactions that are charged admin fees for? No the labour of serfs is just being bought and sold.
The biggest joke is money. British money declares on each note “I promise to pay the bearer on demand the sum of…” It is a credit note. You take one of those notes to the bank of England and ask them for your money and see what happens. You will not get your money. Your labour has been sold for a credit note that a government can devalue at will in competition with its rival nations, thereby shrinking its debt to you (a debt it will not actually pay anyway).
We are all serfs and now there is no more new frontier to run away to where we might be free.

In a broad sense thats what deliberate minimalism is. But if you can enjoy it then it works, you’re not suffering but enjoying the freedoms minimalism provides, and still living life that overall is pleasant to you.

I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.
Man in the mountain, I agree with you. Minimalism works in as much as it keeps you under the big state’s radar -low income, bit of black economy work, no marriage certificate, not spending on consumer junk you don’t need, its hard for them to extract wealth but if the radar locks onto you its no help at all.
They can still draught you. They can still decide to build a road across your land, they can still decide that you have done something they do not like and take away your liberty or wealth. They can still even control how fast you drive your car and how you maintain it and they will tax the fuel you put in it, force you to insure it in most countries, make you pass a test before they let you get in it alone, make you wear a f~~~ing seat belt even.
When the minimalist gets hit by the big state he has nothing to defend himself with. When an army marches into Diogenes’ town it is true that Diogenes had little to lose because he only lived in a barrel but when they commandeer all the food and prices rise what will Diogenes eat? When a drunk soldier kicks the s~~~ out of Diogenes what will he do to defend himself, when he has not armour. They can kill him at will.
Go minimalist and you avoid the radar only because the radar is set to extract wealth and you are giving signals that you have nothing worth taking. When you get in trouble its resources that will get you out of trouble. You need to acquire resources and this means that while minimalism has benefits that MGTOW ought to access, it only goes so far and at some point you are going to have to cross their radar (but do it as wisely as possible).
A very wise old man who once employed me taught me that “They say this is a free country but it is only free if you walk carefully without touching the electric fences that are along the side of all the roads, you even p~~~ in the wrong direction and you will get a shock” The west today is like a prison camp where the inmates are all free until they try to cross invisible wire set by liberals to keep us all safe. The old man was saying this because his new young wife had spent a very generous allowance he had given her for the year (the value of a new car) in 3 months and them asked for more. He said no. They quarreled because she would not accept no. During the quarrel, he pushed her. The police came round and took all his guns away as he was now a perpetrator of domestic violence. He crossed the radar, he touched the invisible fence. The woman left because he would give no more money but his guns didn’t come back.

That is something I realized back in Elementary School. I was forced into compulsory “brainwashing” school and the adults around me were forced to work jobs they hated. Everybody was poor, but they still handed 30% of their income to the Government. The ones, who tried to cheat the system and get rich in the underworld…They ended up like The Man In The Mountain’s Father. Losing everything and getting hauled off to Prison for a very very long time.
Its too late for minimalism, those days of the USA are long gone. You can no longer own your land or house. You rent it. Failure to pay your property tax will result in you losing the property. You cannot build a house or a barn (on your land) without getting permission and paying a fee.
How can you survive as a subsistence farmer living off the land? You would have to work a job to get MONEY to pay your property tax. In other words, you are not allowed to “Live off the Land.” I realized this all, when I was a small child. Yet most go their whole lives and never notice.
It’s been “MY AMERICAN DREAM” to be a subsistence farmer since I was about 6 years old. Sadly, I have no way of realizing this goal unless I can save up enough money to pay down about 50 years of property tax. Then I still have to pay car insurance even if I only drive a couple times a year. That alone costs more than my car is worth EVERY SINGLE YEAR.
There was a time in this country when you could live off the land (YOUR LAND). Now we have all been reduced to corporate serfdom in some form or another. Our “Feudal Overlords” are Banks and Insurance Companies combined with Corrupt State Bureaucrats.
The Historical Example for what we are going through here in USA: Fall and Decline of the Roman Empire. The Feudal System began when the once Free COLONI, who were homesteading and had rights to their own land and labor, lost all their rights and no longer owned anything. That was a gradual process, but that really marked the beginning of the Feudal Era. The same thing happened here in U$A.
Minimalism today means working just enough to survive and paying as little taxes as you can. Ghosting in public and doing the bare minimum. Hope and pray that you don’t get that “Knock on the Door” one day and get charged with crimes that you didn’t commit. Otherwise enjoy your stay in “FREEDOM LAND.”

Yes we’re all constrained by the society we live in.
But I have an escape plan, currently working towards buying a small country home with land, a place I can semi retire to.
This won’t be in the UK – too expensive for what I want and the culture isn’t worth staying for anyway. Get me away from concrete littered streets, loud degenerate people and generally ignorant idiots please.

I have stepped out on faith and traveled from my home state
of Texas across the red river to Oklahoma with no money
having went broke during the Winter while studying at
my mothers house all winter..every spring for many years and scraped up an existence
from my environment without having a public utility bill
in my name. Knowing I would not make enough to keep from
going broke again the next winter.I reserved my right to interpret my rights in my own terms,
I invoked those rights and exercised those rights without
a problem. This was a minimalist lifestyle and most of my male friends
were envious of my very self evident freedom..
I did not feel impoverished nor was I unhappy.Until the day come when I tried to claim those rights..
so that Government could do their job and protect them..When it became apparent that local, state and federal authority
would not protect my Private common law rights, I decided to protect
my own rights. I declared my independence from the general public
and established my own government outside the jurisdiction of
those who would not perform the duties that governments are instituted
for..It went like this:
