Now a days women will have 5 males f~~~ing her for her birthday and if she get’s pregnant she picks from a hat.
Doesn’t sound very monogamous to me. And not too picky either.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart-R'as al Ghul.
What separates us from the animal kingdom is the ability for rational thought. Biological urges aren’t absent from us by any means, but we do have the ability to deny our urges when it logically damages our ultimate goals.
I would say women have the biological urge to mate with the best male specimen and to provide resource for herself and offspring. These goals are often one in the same. She wants to rich guy because he is looked at as a top specimen and can provide resources. However, his resources are limited, so she is unwilling to share this man with other women. Other women would respect that and then find a different man to fill her needs, again unwilling to share.
I think men were fine with this deal as they were guaranteed getting their needs met as well as the offspring they wanted. If women were only interested in the top specimen, then they would never get to procreate at all.
The problem with today is the government has destroyed that arraignment by granting women access to resource without giving anything to a man in return. No (or very little) procreation with no (or very little) access to their children.
The problem isn’t that women want the best guy out there, it’s that they little reason to accept the lesser guy since his resources are their’s no matter how she treats him.

True, but what provides internal emotional motivation is typically governed by unconscious biological urges. Goals such as a well-paying career (caused by urge to acquire resources) or to start a family (procreate).
Then that great rational mind is simply used as a tool to achieve the goals that were established by the unconscious biological urges. Later on people may consciously explain their goals “post-hoc” but they were still set unconsciously.

In reality, birth rates for poor stupid are multiple times higher than the intelligent and wealthy. And this has been true for all of our recorded history.

In fact, every 1 IQ point above the average leads to a 2% higher likelihood of lifelong virginity.
Let’s not pretend women are chasing down high IQ men and trying to breed with the best of the best. They chase after thugs and the bottom 5% preferentially.

I was thinking today that we always hear how women chasing after rich guys is somehow a “natural” thing, but if you think about it, how can it be natural? Why would nature want 95% of the women to chase only 5% of the men? Eventually, that would lead to fewer and fewer babies being born and the eventual end to humanity. Hundreds of mammalian species employ “winner take all” or “winner take most breeding” strategies. Seals and other pinniped beachmasters have harems in which one male breeds with as many females as he can control. Male lions have prides where they do the same thing along with killing any cubs they haven’t sired. Other species add “sperm competition” to the list of techniques and there are strong indications that human are among those.
The incomprehension at the heart of your “question” stems in part from your idiotic assumption that a “Chad” will only impregnate the one woman who “wins” them. Anyone who even bothers to think about that assumption knows it to be demonstrably false.
As the long human history of harems, seraglios, polygamy, and good old fashioned “cheating” shows, one desirable man having children with only one woman is rarely if ever the case even in cultures which practice monogamy. Just last week we had a thread which you’ve apparently forgotten in which a Tennessee mail carrier is suspect of fathering as many as 1800 children. Marriage and monogamy meant little to him or his “harem” and have meant just as little for the relatively brief period humanity has adopted both.
Civilization is an eye blink in the history of our species and the idea of monogamy shorter yet. Genetic studies have shown that 60% to 70% of all the men who ever lived provide none of the DNA in our current 7 billion-plus population. Whether they “failed” to have children or their children failed to have children doesn’t matter. All that matters is their lines failed and most likely failed because of female hypergamy. If they did have access to women, something which was not as certain for most of humanity’s existence as it is now, those women strayed often enough to wipe those patrilineal lines of descent from the human genome.
Your concerns about “winner take all and/or most” breeding strategies being evolutionary dead ends is entirely unfounded and is a solely result of your abject ignorance on the subject. We need to remember that monogamy is a relatively new cultural practice and one which is not universally practiced even in those societies which reward it. Monogamy is not “normal” or “innate” behavior. It’s a cultural artifact and, like all such artifacts, it’s use will wax and wane in response to the cultural rewards and benefits it provides.
Look at that Tennessee mail carrier again. He impregnated as many as 1500 women during the 50s and 60s, during what are alleged to be the “good old days” for marriage, fidelity, and all the rest. Leave it to Beaver, Father Knows Best, and all the rest are on television and he’s delivering more sperm to unfaithful wives than letters. The culture of that time did not prevent him or his “baby mamas” from making cuckholds of well over a thousand men.
Those top tier women in the US black community are making choices based on current demographic facts and current cultural beliefs. There simply are not enough available black men at their level with whom to enter a monogamous relationship and raise children, so tehy feel they’re left with three basic options:
– Marry down or “settle”: This is something they’ve been told their entire lives they don’t have to do. It’s an anathema to them, a renunciation of all the “You go girl” and “You can have it all” horses~~~ which has been spoon fed them by peers, parents, schools, and society since birth. “Settling” is their last choice, “settling” means they’ve failed when they’ve won at everything else. (Winning mostly in part to being a “double diversity” number thanks to their c~~~ and skin color that is.)
Marry outside of their “race”: This is something which – at this time – their particular subculture especially frowns upon. It’s seen as a form of cultural genocide. Black men, who understandably want nothing to do with most black women, are excoriated for doing it and primarily by black women. There’s also the fact that data from various dating sites routinely shows that black women are the least desired and contacted ethnic group. Black women thus have few chances to marry outside their “race” and then will be ostracized for doing so.
Accept a long term “harem” or FWB relationship which still results in children: This is “least worst” of their three rather bad options. Single motherhood has less stigma associated with it, especially among blacks. Unlike their “sister” hoodrats, successful black women will have the resources to, hopefully, raise a somewhat normal child. They can have children outside of marriage and, seeing as their marriage prospects are incredibly poor, this is the only way a large majority of them will ever have children.
None of those options are entirely “rational” because they’re partially based on irrational beliefs, opinions, and outright prejudices the women in question hold. Their irrational thinking has placed them in a box of their own making with only a few options. Of the those options, single motherhood while being part of a FWB “harem” is the most “rational” of the limited irrational choices they’ve allowed themselves to contemplate.
