I was thinking today that we always hear how women chasing after rich guys is somehow a “natural” thing, but if you think about it, how can it be natural? Why would nature want 95% of the women to chase only 5% of the men? Eventually, that would lead to fewer and fewer babies being born and the eventual end to humanity. Wouldn’t nature want the opposite of that?
Now lets look at what men want: A good person, like themselves, who is in relatively good shape (healthy). If women ALSO wanted that, you’d have a compatibility rate somewhere over 90% with only unhealthy people struggling to find mates.
The male way of seeking a partner is so much more effective in terms of keeping humanity thriving and prosperous, where as the female way of finding a mate can only lead to a severe decrease in birth rates, misery (since most women will fail to find that 5% guy), unhealthy living, and eventual death of the human race as we know it.
I understand that a woman would not want a guy who was a jobless bum, living at home off of momma. But this nonsense of literally every woman thinking she is deserving of some uber-rich dude straight of a fairy tale has got to stop. Seriously, do women ever grow up? How many good men with good jobs have they passed up because of their idiotic fairy tale FANTASIES of finding Mr. Richie Rich? At some point, you have to learn to be an adult. But women today seem incapable of doing that.
Not really in animal kind usually the alpha male is the only one with access to reproduction.
All the others get a quickie if they get lucky and chad animal ain’t looking.

The truth is I really did just want a kind, loving, loyal wife and if she had stayed that way I would have stayed with her til death us do part. I was in it for the long haul and quite happy to stay loyal.

I never stated anywhere that I was perfect so you don’t have to take that line when we’re just having a discussion.
I’m not looking for a perfect wife or any wife at all. I just wanted a caring and considerate person when I was looking. Sadly, I could not find that so I chose not to settle for a harpy that would move me to an early death.
Just because you got those high scores doesn’t meant you had the mentality to let your life be driven by it. To me, it seems it naturally occured because you have a charm with the ladies and I can’t knock that.

That is a crock of horses~~~. I’m not sure which men you’re talking about on what continent but Western men have valued traditions and the family for thousands of years and we’ve built great civilizations as a result of that principle. Society did not discourage our primal urge to over breed — it was our rational, reason and logic which women lack entirely.
Men don’t want a good person/women? Yeah right why do you think so many of us are here to begin with? We were fooled into thinking that there was a good c~~~ out there for us in the first place! Our forefathers knew this and thus kept women in their place, we on the other hand have been conditioned about women being some special snowflake type.
