She had a great show with a great supporting cast, and they had fun while doing it.

Ive worked with a few unknown female comidians that would kill you.
But they are rare.

There’s a Bill Burr interview where he says, “Women have no sense of humour.” Needless to say, he’s immediately booed. But women are free to prove him wrong at any time, and as usual, they never do. Words are all that count, after all.

My mum has a sense of humour. She’s a tomboy and has far more male friends than female. Her best friend was a guy, and every time they saw each other he’d say, “How you doing, old bitch?” This didn’t offend her, because he didn’t mean it maliciously. It was a playful greeting that showed how close they were – they could speak like that in front of each other and always laugh it off.

You cannot do that with any woman now, not even a woman who claims to be laid-back. Hell, the women who make that claim are usually the worst. If a woman says that she’s hard to offend, she is guaranteed to be the opposite. While shooting Knocked Up, Katherine Heigl talked about how she was “one of the guys” and really hard to offend. She later complained about how sexist that film was. I don’t think she and Seth Rogen have spoken since.

I remember seeing this online argument where someone said, “I hate political correctness. You cannot make a funny joke anymore”, and some idiot replied, “Political correctness is not about banning jokes – it stops people from saying mean things about each other, which is a good thing.”

That would have to sit right up there with “feminism is about equality.”

and on topic – women can’t laugh at themselves and I know loads of women at work who take completely harmless jokes personally. Plus women aren’t funny
