I figured this red-pill guy(me) would pass this on to those of you who insist on taking the blue pill.

I had a professional friend who worked for 20 years; day in & day out. He gave all his money to his wife and let her run the finances and family budget. All he did was work-work-work. He had 2 beautiful daughters, and put both through college. Time came for him to retire at 58 having worked 60 hr weeks for 20 yrs and he comes home one day off of his regular schedule. He catches his wife with a 1/2 dressed man in his house.
Long story short: this one was just the latest. She told him she wants a divorce and admits openly to screwing around behind his back for over 20 yrs. She said she WASN;T CHANGING NOW. (becaause he was retiring)

Cheating for over 20 years……….while he gives her all his hard earned money………and with no remorse at all, tells him tough s~~~, I’m not stopping and will continue to whore around.

Had he never married, he’d be rich and happy and probably could’ve afforded to retire much sooner.

Hermit: When he told me he was bereft of emotion. He had no clue. His wife gave him sex in the sparse times they were together. She had something over on his daughters, as I feel they HAD TO KNOW, yet said nothing! He is moving along albeit slowly, he feels like a shell,(ie: that someone scooped out his insides).
I would truly hate to see another woman do this to any man.

I know the answer to my question, but I still have to ask. How can someone do that to another person unless they just absolutely hate them? As I said, I know the answer….women. That’s just how they are.

Even though I feel fortunate that I still have some life left to live and I’m no longer shackled to a woman, I can’t help but feel bad for the guy. All that time, all that hard work, all that trust……..all shot to s~~~ by his “loving wife”.

I really think it’s best that if you’re married, be like an old friend of mine. He likes watching other guys f~~~ his wife and she lets him f~~~ other women……..but then why be married at all?

HOPEFULLY, he will have enough resources to at least get a modest place to live by himself, eat well, have a car, gym membership, internet connection and a whole LOT OF PEACE AND QUIET.

She retired 20 years ago and has made quite a fun life for herself in retirement. The last thing she needs is some guy that she doesn’t want to have sex with following her around. I’m sure she’s been planning on how to live on half the retirement money for quite some time now. I wouldn’t be surprised if she has a little extra cash sitting in a safe deposit box somewhere a few towns over.

She could have asked for a divorce, but he probably would have wanted to try to work it out first. Old habits die hard. But seeing her f~~~ing another guy, well that’s just the “rip the band-aid off” approach to getting the divorce a little faster. The fact that it hurt him worse is just icing on the cake.

When reality smashed him in the face, I’m sure he was devastated and having been married so long would not be able to enjoy his new found freedom, or even see it as freedom. He is probably very lonely as his perfect marriage and family fantasy has been smashed to bits. I would guess that he felt like he was making a sacrifice, being the breadwinner for his family so they could lead a better life. I’m guessing he missed first footsteps, first words, firsts of too many to count. All to go pull the plow so the family could have the Norman Rockwell upbringing. And all the while, looking forward to one day being able to retire with the woman he loves. Spend some time traveling with her, being there for the weddings and the eventual grandkids. Playing some golf with his buddies while she and her friends went shopping. Then inviting them all over for a bar-b-q later that night.

And then in a blink of an eye that whole dream came crashing down on him. Yeah, that one’s got to suck. But then again, what would any of us know about that?

As far as I know, my x never cheated on me, but even if I found out she did, I wouldn’t care now. It got to the point that I hated her so much, there were absolutely no more feelings left in me. Unlike this fellow, the fantasy of marriage had dissolved for me long before the actual divorce. However, this man that we are discussing was living the fantasy, so at that moment…….I can almost feel his heart being crushed.

Initially, I thought that would be my “next” move, but luckily I assimilated the Red Pill. NOW, the LAST THING IN LIFE I DESIRE IS A REPLACEMENT MODEL.
