I’ve linked to the article below. The article contains the video of the woman shooting the man. She was charged with murder and acquitted at trial. As many of you know I am a former attorney for the US government. Now I didn’t practice criminal law but all attorney’s are trained to do so.
I’ve looked at the video very carefully and a couple of things stand out:
a) The man did not come there with the intention of harming anyone. His behavior indicates the encounter is merely routine.
b) When the woman tells him she is going to handcuff him she provides NO repeat NO rationalization or reason to him…which would of course would give rise in any normal person’s mind that the action is unauthorized. (I think the woman made the decision to handcuff and detain the guy on the spur of the moment—why? She brought her son into the encounter so clearly she had not anticipated trouble or she wouldn’t have done so.)
c) There is a point in the video where the man makes a comment to her that is blipped out. I think he made a sexual comment to her—she got p~~~ed and decided to throw her weight around and “show him who is boss”, and when he resisted she used it as an excuse to shoot the guy.Question: She claims he was going for her gun and this posed a threat to her son. How would he have known the gun was in a draw or that it was even loaded or chambered? He couldn’t know that. And here story makes no sense. Either he was trying to escape through the window OR get the gun and shoot the son for some reason. You can’t have it both ways.
So she is acquitted I suspect because she is a woman. How anyone can watch the tape and not think this is murder is beyond me.

I ubered a guy fresh out of jail on Sunday for a fraudulent DUI. They told him he had a choice of blood test, urine test, or breathalizer. Then, after he chose blood test, they told him they couldn’t perform it and tried to get him to take a breathalizer. He refused so they booked him for refusing a breathalizer. Then still retained him for almost a whole day even though he paid bail.
The prison system is a scam.

This was because he got out of his car after pulled over for a “Dirty License Plate.” He got out to wipe the dirt off and he almost got shot over it. It is incredibly easy to get caught up in the endless red tape of the system. I know kids that I grew up with, who have spent their entire adult lives on probation. It all got started over a trivial incident and the “Snowball effect” ends up with serious jail time and a life time of supervision and check ups.

Exactly. I don’t want to diatribe here but the whole system is MISANDRY and GREED. For me, I have rules that keep me alive and out of jail. No women, no alcohol. That’s just me. That has kept me out of any sort of misdemeanor or legal hassles for 5 years so I’m good with that.
I’m not even a bad person, I’m just a little too cerebral for most women to like me and I drank too much as a young adult, caught an evading arrest felony conviction. I’ve never hurt anyone and pose no danger to anyone yet I’m labeled a felon, unemployable and red taped for life. Never touched a woman or anything. This is how bad the system is, turns regular boy scout/Christian kids into felons and suicides.

I never will understand why people let injustice stand, when inflicted upon their family.
If one of my sons gets murdered, there will be no pussy pass. I don’t care if the person doing it is a prostitute, a female cop, a bail bondsman or a f~~~ing senator. No amount of security would protect them.
I would be the last thing the murderer would see, before I remove their eyeb~~~~. And that would only be the start of their “fun”. If I am going to go to prison for the rest of my life, I want to f~~~ing earn it. I would want it to set such an example, so that a thousand years from now people will talk about it like they do Count Vlad the Impaler.

I think she planned this ahead and her son was there only as a convenient prop. She needs a bullet between the eyes. And JD makes a good point. Under the law a non-police official can never EVER shoot a fleeing person–even if they just committed a felony because if the person is fleeing then your life is no longer in jeopardy. Now police can shoot a fleeing felon but if and only if they personally witnessed the felony committed. Now maybe that has changed I don’t know. But when I was an MP we were trained never to shoot a fleeing suspect.
Anonymous7Even the kid, who appeared to be there to help detain the guy due to him having the cuffs, reacted in shock. He even states, “mom, you just shot that guy”, as though in disbelief because he realized it wasn’t warranted.
She states she was afraid for her son. Well, she should not have put him in that position.
At the end the kid grabs the camera because mommy told him to – interesting.

In the Marines, we were instructed on what is called a “mobility kill”
Now there are probably many names for it but basically you purposely don’t kill the target, merely disable their mobility…shoot em in the legs!
I always say this when ever shootings happen that could have prevented a fatality where none was needed, why did they not go for the mobility kill. These people are sick f~~~s and should not be given weapons because they just want to smoke innocent people.
I was also taught, “two in the chest, one in head.” But that was for terrorist in which I had Positive ID, Hostile Intent, Hostile Action. This crazy bitch broke all the rules on engagement and shot a man in the back killing him.
Justice was not served.
