I’m more in agreement with Eric. I honestly don’t have a lot of interest in how many sexual partners she’s had. I understand that it’s a higher chance for STDS, but I want conformation she’s clean regardless. I get that it can be a reflection of moral character, but I don’t see it as an actual substitute for moral character. I don’t care about what she’s done in the past as much as how her past has shaped her into who she is now.

No, her past isn’t really what keeps me from wanting to marry her. The laws on divorce are by far the biggest factor. I see that as the driving factor that enables all sorts of other bad behaviors that keep me from wanting to marry women in general.

Even if the laws on divorce weren’t so biased, and I actually wanted to get married…I still wouldn’t want to attempt to settle down with a woman whom I’ve known has been around the block. Just playing the odds…who would I have a better chance at actually having a lifelong relations~~~ with if that were my desire? Someone who spent her 20s shuffling through a different boyfriend every 3-6 months or someone who only had 1 or 2 long term relations~~~s during her 20s?

Its not just about dirty vagina syndrome…because the chick who is in the 20+ partner realm could get a test proving she’s clean while a girl with 1 partner may have herpes, its just the concept of insanity. How many times does the same thing need to happen before you stop expecting different results? If her 20s were all about riding the carousel why should you suddenly expect her to change and settle down? Granted…a lot of them can play the game for a while in today’s society to get a wedding, babies, and eventual divorce payout, but even if you take that out of the equation, I still wouldn’t want to put much faith into such a woman. I guess if I really wanted a lay bad enough and they were interested they’d be alright for that for a while, but I wouldn’t be factoring them into any of my major life choices.

Its a lifestyle really…and most of them enjoy living it. I’m not like “You aren’t a virgin, you must be a whore…” but there is a big difference between a woman who has had a few long term relations~~~s over their life, and one that had a string of one night stands and gang bangs when she was in her prime.

To an extent its like if I spent my 20s mostly unemployed bouncing around low paying jobs from which I mostly ended up fired, built up a long history of arrests for various petty crimes, still lived with my parents, and didn’t put any effort into getting an education or developing any marketable skills, then met a woman I was interested in and told her I’m going back to school next semester and I’m going to turn my life around…how would she describe me? Clearly its not going to be with words like ambitious, hard working, or successful. Would most women want to marry a guy they couldn’t at least apply those adjectives too?

Its the same with women. You meet one who has gotten poked by enough dudes before you…are you going to describe her with words such as loyal, committed, or respectable? Hell no you aren’t, and if I was going to wife a woman up I’d like to be able to describe her with all those words.
