OMG this is true. This is totally true. That having been said, white people can do it too, look at the Italian mafia.

On another note though, it’s a combination of “we come to America, the place where you forge your own future or end up homeless on the street” attitude (i.e. we don’t rely on government), workaholicness (hence high income) and a low standard of living (hence low expenditures).

Also a large part of it is the immigration filter. Imagine you’re an immigrant official. Between a lazy person and a hardworking person, you let in the hardworking person. Between a smart person and a stupid person, you pick the smart person. Between a well-educated person and an uneducated person, you pick the educated person. It’s not that asians are smarter, it that the only asians here are the smart ones.

But also there’s a fun part when you take into consideration the following:
between an entrepreneur and an engineer, you let in the engineer. Between a doctor and a politician, you let in the doctor. You kind of want the immigrants working for you and not vice-versa. Hence the so-called “bamboo ceiling”; it’s not discrimination, it’s that the immigrants here are actually s~~~ at being leaders.
