Every time I run into family or friends that have kids, they always end up saying that having their children was “the best thing that could ever happen to them”
Why the f~~~ is it people with kids hype up the so-called great things about them but always leave out the bad parts when trying to convince single men in having kids. I never got the point in having kids in the first place. I’ve always been against having them and I’ve always viewed people who did have them as idiots because if they wanted a kid so badly, they could adopt. There’s no f~~~ing reason to “spread your genes” anymore in modern times.
I remember telling my parents since before I was 10 years old I’ll never have kids because I don’t want the responsibility. It’s too much of a f~~~ing hassle to ever have kids. I don’t want to wake up in the middle of the night to tantrums, crying, or having to change crap filled diapers at 2am in the morning.
My parents especially, are passive-aggressive about them wanting me to have kids. They’ll say s~~~ like “well, you’re too young to realize it now, but some day, you’ll just want to magically have kids all of a sudden”
I never got that train of thought. Having kids would just be a blue pill hell for me.
It’s kind of like purchasing some Gucci shoes, they pay an insane amount of money for them and then brag about how much they spent on them to make it seem like it was a great decision. The same concept applies to parents about their kids.
Misery loves company, f~~~ that.
If it has tits or tires, you know you're going to have problems.
i waited until my mid forties to start a family.
it went down the toilet within two years.
had a kid.
lots of work and expenses.
big responsibility.
legal ramifications.
you can be jailed if you f~~~ up or if the woman points at you.
.
don’t ruin your life.
keep your freedom.
.
yes, part of you continues on..
but it’s NOT you..
kids don’t give you immortality.it went down the toilet within two years.
That’s why I decided at a very young age I’ll never have kids. The only thing I’ll potty train is a dog.
F~~~ FATHERHOOD.
Sucked.Do NOT do it.
You are better off getting a puppy.
I plan on doing exactly that. I’ve never raised a dog in my life, but I’ve been around them ever since I was little. Dogs are just better in every way.
Then with new software certifications…go f~~~ my way around the country.. ride snowmobiles, 4×4, hunt, fish, f~~~ and drop $500 a weekend on gas racing up and down the lake. Followed by steak and lobster.
I want to do something similar once pay off my debts. That’ll be time well worth spent.
Having a kid is like willingly tying yourself to a shackles. I’d rather be free and be able to do what I want when I want instead of worrying about feeding an extra mouth for another 18 years.
my goal is to remain childfree my entire life. As the guys above mentioned, it is very liberating. More time, money, space, and less power to women. Courts will by default grant custody of children to the mother.
in the modern western society, there is no such thing as fathers. There is just the mother, and the state.
75% of African American children are raised by single parents. Just think about that! 75%
the only viable argument against not having kids is boredom. However, i would much rather be bored than miserable.
MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.

Anonymous43since my kids told me to f~~~ off, there is no appeal.
I teach 25 kids in my classroom, 7 I could throw off a cliff and be much happier.
I have a hard time dealing with other people’s kids in public; screaming, crying, running around, tantrums, throwing things, or anything that makes you want to go crazy back! I can’t deal with having kids of my own. I never changed a s~~~ty diaper, and I hope I don’t ever get that responsibility because I get grossed out easily. Besides, I can’t even take care of myself fiscally, and I don’t want the financial burden when I rather put that money into getting a dream house with my dream man cave where I can have the guys over every once in a while.
As far as I’m concerned my love is my man cave and PS3 and my children are the games that go in it; at least I love them and don’t mind putting money in it.

Well, I will tell you that my kids are the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me.
Here is a brain blower even for me: I would go through it all again for the kids I have now.
I have lived a life of excitement that few will ever realize, and there has been a lot of pain. But raising my kids and watching them learn from me has been priceless. In many many ways they teach me. Take it or leave it.
When you find yourself in the majority, it's time to reflect.
I’m glad I have kids. They’re awesome.
I bathe in the tears of single moms.
Aunt birthed twins w. Her husband. They both work full time as teacher/engineer and they still can’t keep up with the expenses. 3k a month on mortgage, homeowners separate, another 3k a month on daycare plus living expenses for the kids. They’re using credit cards to get by. Sounds like hell on earth to me. Nothing fulfilling about that whatsoever. Struggling to live in order to have your kids sent off into Marxist education so they can grow up to be sjw’s. Yeah… no.
What’s the appeal in having kids?
I don’t know.
I blame it on being smurf blue at the time, and now I’m paying the price, and will continue to pay for years !!!!
I pay with my : money, time, energy, effort, peace of mind. That’s enough there to depress the hell out of me.
I live with and support my BIGGEST mistakes in life. It may sound cold, but sometimes the truth is cold.
If I was to die today, my last thoughts would be what a wasted life .

The kids are not the problem, the spending habits of the parents are. Do they need a house that costs $3k plus homeowners fees? How old are their cars? If one is a teacher and not making much money then why are they not taking care of the kids full-time instead of paying $3k for daycare?

Kids CAN be great, but it’s like betting 00 on the roulette table. I was very calculating when I had mine and also had some luck. Best thing to ever happen to me but in a day it could turn into the worst.

Fairly new cars. Beats me. They put themselves in a tough situation. The cost of living is off the roof in SoCal, it’d be more ideal if they relocate. Unfortunately, the tradcon – paradigms died out in most women around here a long time ago; they’ll pay for the daycare and expenses instead of giving up their jobs. Independent women ftw.
Here is a simple example:
A) I bought a cheap vacuum when I moved into my apartment. A month later it is “like new”.
B) The ex bought the same vac at the same time. A month later the thing is half destroyed. Missing both attachments, and the beater brush is making a horrendous noise. They broke off one of the brackets that the cord wraps on when stored. How the hell do three kids and a dopey broad destroy quickly an item designed to run at least 3 years??? And the ex should manage the situation so the kids don’t wreck it, but she is just as much an oaf and beats the s~~~ out of it too.
“B” is a metaphor for your whole life if you are married with children. Removing myself from the baffling chaos, my life is peace and order now.
Sovereignty above all else.
Reproduction is a good thing. The modern woman has corrupted the gift of holding life in thier bodies. Hence 1 billion abortions since the 60’s.
My whole life I’ve desired to be a good father. I grew up in the 80’s so the feminazi rot was on full display, and the golden calf couldn’t be questioned.
If the thought police, and duplicity of women were’nt so rampant, educating people people new to this planet would be a an unparralled joy. That’s my contribution to the forum.

To answer the original question: None.
People are sheep, and they behave as society expects them to.
Let me put this into perspective:Society defines good and evil always the same way: We are good. Those that are different than us, are evil.
Thats why Mayans didn’t think there was anything wrong with human sacrifices. Now, this does not mean we cant find a better life for ourselves and those around us. The problem comes up when we think one thing, but society ask us to behave differently. Case in point, dont talk about children as if they are a burden.
I am 32, so by now all my friends and closer family are married with children. All of them tell me how much they’d rather be single, or at least without children, but they would never tell that to anyone else.
This is because I dont judge and I never care if others judge me (its a quality that is very attractive for people who have been behaving differently than they’d like to).
One of my friends put it best: Children are the best thing that ever happened to me, but you should wait until you have them. (He has said that 4 times in 2 years now, I’m getting the feeling he means wait forever).
Here is the best part about it: All the children of these families like me because I am a big kid (AKA I do what I want and I dont have my own children… and I play computer games while others talk about children).
So, kids like me and I get to spend some time with them. When they get annoying I can just leave. Why would I ever want to change that?
Why would I ever want to change that?
You will want to change when you fall in love and want to get married to your “soul mate”. Then its only natural to want to change your ways, and have your own children. Wait I can’t hold it back any longer , PUKE, PUKE, PUKE, on second thought, Stay Healthy, Stay Sane, Stay Independent, Stay Single !!!

I’ve always been against having them and I’ve always viewed people who did have them as idiots…
Why are you bothering to ask the question when you’ve already come to the conclusion that people who have/want kids are idiots? I’d give you my thoughts on the subject, but I’m an idiot who had kids, so why should I bother?
If you don’t like people with kids and want to call them idiots just do it. Drop the pretense of trying to understanding someone who has a different opinion and experience then you.
Ok. Then do it.
The appeal isn’t logical it just there, personally I can’t bring myself to actually have children of my own. Such a thing would forever put me at the mercy of a tyrannical asshole. That being said I would take no issue in looking after a kid if he or she needed it.
A MGTOW is a man who is not a woman's bitch!
