Whatever happened to entertainment just being about art and entertainment? Why is it all a political propaganda tool now? Even sport is being used now despite the claims in the past that sport was great because of the lack of politics.

decent strip of bacon ..

I think I’ve tried most brands and it’s impossible to get decent bacon any longer .. bacon used to be crisp and perfect with not much trouble frying it ..

the stuff they sell now cannot be made decent no matter how hard I try. I’ve tried it in drip racks in the oven .. traditional fried, microwaved ….. I remember decades ago when bacon really, really .. was good, tender and crisp .. i.e. perfect.

What happened? .. does anyone know of any brand of bacon that isn’t total pathos? .. that still looks and tastes like bacon used to be .. like twenty years ago.
I don’t even try buying it any longer and I’ve switched to pork sausages.
