Yes brothers, the bubble is going to burst—get out while you can! This ship is headed to the bottom!
I know I say this in every crypto-currency thread so I’d hate to break the chain.
Gold & Silver…excepted by everybody.
Bullets are also a good currency as they can put food on your table and can save your life.
Alcohol will always be a good currency when the economy collapses.I was dead set on Obama being the fall guy for when the bubble finally popped but it appears Trump will be. I can’t see how they can keep all this printing going on for much longer. It’s been agonizingly entertaining though.

That’s a tough one with the ammo though. Which will be more valuable, the common calibers or the uncommon calibers? See, many people have 9mm and there’s a s~~~ ton of that ammo out there so I’m saying each round is worth equivalent to a fraction of a cent during an apocalypse. I do not own a 9mm weapon, but I do own a 10mm which is not a popular round so that ammo is not as common. However, I do know that there are some like me who love this powerful little semi-auto round. So would the uncommon 10mm be worth more?
5.56 vs 7.62 x 39…….which will be the higher ranking currency? I’m guessing there are more AR15 owners than there are AK47 owners.
There are so many various calibers out there. Reckon it’s gonna’ be different with each person you trade with. You come to me with 9mm rounds and I’m not gonna’ trade with you……..unless I know someone who needs them. It’ll be tricky.

If you were to buy a business or some real estate, it would be wise to look to see what solid assets, business plan, and profits are in it before you plunk down your money. There are stocks that pay dividends, there are stocks that have ore deposits of value, there are stocks that manage real estate, etc. A miner of precious or base metals has a deposit, though at some point it might be depleted.
Some people get caught up in “flipping houses,” which is based on the “greater fool” theory that one will be able to unload it on that fool. Why gamble on something that has dubious intrinsic value behind it? What assets does bitcoin have? Scarcity? Gold, silver, and platinum are real useable assets and are scarce. Contrary to what many believe, gold has many uses beyond a store of value or jewelry.
but I do own a 10mm which is not a popular round so that ammo is not as common
Ah yes BUT 10mm is coming back! Sig announced a new model last year chambered for it and NOW Ruger, Spring field armory, and Kimber (Camp Guard 10) have all launched new weapons in that caliber. ITS COMING BACK!
Midway USA, Sportsman Guide and Natchez all have great deals on 10 mm ammo.
Is 10mm a good round?

How does the 10mm compare to the 40cal in terms of ballistics, etc?
All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. I heard that it was supposed to be coming back many years ago, but then I heard nothing more. I heard back then that it is a popular hog hunting round. A friend of mine told me that no one has come out with or will be coming out with anything so I’m glad to hear you say that various manufacturers plan on producing 10mm auto weapons.
I have an old S&W model 1006 and I’ve always loved it. The only problem I’ve ever had with it is the springs in the magazines get compressed if you leave them loaded for very long. I have two magazines and they both have that problem, along with replacement springs that I bought for them. I haven’t experienced this with magazines for any other weapon. You ever heard of a similar problem?

Compare to 40 S&W

I have S&W .40 and it does the same thing. I replaced the springs once.

Damn, Smith & Wesson must have s~~~ metal they use for magazine springs. Sure wish I could find a good replacement.

The model 1006 was good enough for the FBI to order 10,000 of them—1990. the problem you mentioned is a new one on me. Suggestion: Take the mag apart and polish the inside surface; it is also possible the problem isn’t the spring but the magazine follower could be sticking—take file to the edges and smooth them out. See if that helps.
By the way the Ruger is on a Government model platform and is out in stores NOW. I’ve played with one and I really like it EXCEPT the barrel is black so over time the finish at the ejection port is going to wear off and look bad. Retail is about $720; and of course it has a lifetime warranty.
