I was a kid in 1968….. crazy time! There was soooo much prosperity in the US, yet so much strife lie underneath the very fabric of society. LBJ wanted to end poverty, and fight a war “against the commies” in SE Asia.Americans had jobs,money,food,and a good home. People anxiously waited for the next car model to come out.

People started demonstrating in the streets, happened on weekends, then almost daily by one cause or another. Everyone wanted to know WHY we had to fight a war literally for another country that couldn’t/wouldn’t fight for itself?

The demonstrations got passionate,….and sometimes opposing parties in demonstration would clash. First in large cities, then eventually anywhere including college campus’ Vietnam war,Civil rights,Equal rights,Racial equality,you name it;they demonstrated.

We are not near civil war yet,….. although there is fuel for the clashes during demonstrations.
This crazy Governor in New York just passed yet another very controversial bill involving Abortion into the 3rd trimester of pregnancy. There is indeed a silent majority that find this very disturbing.

If/when the demonstrations appear: ALL parties will be passionate towards their cause. For now, it is NOT 1968.

It’s not a civil war. It’s just a revolt. Similar to other communist revolutions that happened in other countries. The republic will have to put it down. Right wing and centrist civilians need not fight. US military and police are more than capable of handling it. The revolutiinary politicians need to go.
