The fact that females comprise the majority of the electorate is not lost on those in the business of getting re-elected and diving spoils to their donors. “Family values” is code for “pro-Marraige 1.0” and is often as deleterious to male collective interests as anything out “Marriage 2.0” i.e. feminimsm.

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/utah-porn-ban-public-health-crisis-a6843711.html

Senator Todd Weiler filed the resolution, SCR. 9 Concurrent Resolution, on Friday declaring that pornography is creating a “public health crisis”.

The resolution states: “Whereas pornography use is linked to lessening desire in young men to marry, dissatisfaction in marriage, and infidelity.”

So. In the state of Utah. The home of Mormonism, where the idea of big families and the man being financially and religiously tied to a gigantic brood. A fundamentalist, pseudo christian religion that has women subservient to men. This home state is having issues with bringing these men to the plantation.

    Hmmmmm. How odd.

It’s gotta be the porn. Yeah, that it. The porn. No way that marrying some relentlessly dissatisfied harpy that is dropping kids out of her like a clown car would chase away any rational, sane young man.

That’s weird why would men not strive for sex with women.

I mean feminism is about equality right, like how would depriving masculine energy along with the religion that doesn’t let you wear condoms have a negative impact on sex.

That would just want to make me earn it more.

Like having 8 kids with a post wall women I mean like that’s the dream.

What’s wrong with the men over there, we know it can’t be the women because that would just be misogyny.

Among 18 to 30-year-olds, 79 per cent of American men and 76 per cent of women watch internet porn at least once per month, according to statistics compiled by Covenant Eyes, a site that filters pornography sites.

76 % of females watch porn yet porn is the reason men aren’t marrying. Very interesting.

I read something about men are leaving the Mormon church (huge in Utah) at such a rate that Mormon females are getting lots of plastic surgery to compete for the remaining Mormon men.

A larger view is that the state of Utah wants to do something to make men want to get married again. If blocking porn doesn’t work what will be next? Bachelor tax? forced classes on how great marriage is?

Is porn the cause of low marriages or the effect? We all know the answer.

The good news is here is a state government that acknowledges that there is a marriage crisis and that is men dropping out and not the HuffPo version that it is cis females choosing to stay single.

    This is an interesting issue.

Throughout Church history, various Catholic thinkers have offered differing opinions on sexual pleasure. Some saw it as sinful, while others disagreed. There was no formal Church position in the matter until the 1546 Council of Trent decided that “concupiscence” invited sin but was “not formally sinful in itself”. In 1679, Pope Innocent XI also weighed in by condemning “marital sex exercised for pleasure alone”. The Church position on sexual activity can be summarized as: “sexual activity belongs only in marriage as an expression of total self–giving and union, and always open to the possibility of new life.” Sexual acts in marriage are considered “noble and honorable” and are meant to be enjoyed with “joy and gratitude”

    Source : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex,_gender_and_the_Roman_Catholic_Church

So, did the state replace the church in its invasive desire to regulate the private sexual lives of its citizens ?
    So much for progress…..

The solution to the above, was a separation of church and state. Applying this logic, is not the solution now, to separate the state and man ?

First off porn should be a human right it allows one full control by their sexual drive.
But that statement really does highlight the fact that the goverment does not care about men. Anyone in goverment knows the law’s on marriage and they know they are bulls~~~.The fact that the goverment in Utah can’t see that really makes one lose faith in goverment.

I think it has more to do with the heavy mormon action going on, they’re very religious. Of course, good luck banning porn in this day and age, it’s everywhere. And truth be told, before any porn ban takes place, I think every dude has a porn file on their computer, so just download it all and go offline. F~~~ it.

Feminism is a movement where opinions are presented as facts and emotions are presented as evidence.

That is what I think everytime I see any article trying to explain why “men don’t marry”.

Women are incapable of being wrong.

In fact, they seem incapable of a lot of things…

Hold tight, cause the shaming is only starting, and it is going to come from EVERY direction.

    Cheers.

It’s not a religious problem but an economic one. Marrying makes it easier for a woman to force a Man to become a parent. No marriages and child birth rates decrease so there are not young workers to replace those who retire. Eventually local economy collapses.
Of course they can’t make women accountable, they might get stuborn and refuse to lay more eggs. …i mean to have chilfdren. Besides banning male masturbation does so way back it’s even mentioned in the kamasutra. Reason ? A man capable of giving himself pleasure won’t trade freedom for pussy. Remember, Man want women, but women need Men.

"We didn't start the fire. It was always burning. Since the world's been turning" "A world that vilifies men only breeds a generation of men that feel no empathy towards women" “In a woman’s mind , there is really no such thing as a ‘we’. In her eyes, earth allways revolves around her, not the other way around. So thinking that your needs , aspirations or desires are valid enough to be persued, or even that you are entitled achive such goals, is like asking your boss for a pay rise in your very first day at the job.”

once again, correlation being mistaken for causation. Disenfranchised men turn to porn to find some pittance of sexual satisfaction and that’s the cause of all the problems. Men wouldn’t turn to porn if they were getting any at home.

Yes men are watching porn instead of marrying their partner. It’s simple I can see clear as day. I have been reading the redpillwomen and I see that these women were literally turning guys off for sex let alone marriage. It wasn’t his porn addiction causing the problem it’s just the outcome out of it. Women whining, crying, bitching, etc turned men off. When these women stopped that s~~~ to men and lose weight if necessary these men wanted sex with their women again.
Some of these stupid women think just by dressing sex is going to turn their man.

How would porn be banned? blocking the isp in the state? what would be the punishment for porn? what about grampas dirty magazines that every teen male knows how to find? There is no logic on the basis of how the ban would be enforced. Considering i can download porn on the internet and save it to the hardrive for later use. And if i could not access it because it was banned i can simply go on tor and search the same sites being from a unblocked isp. I don’t even live in utah but i see flaws in the plans.

Just an east coast asshole who likes to curse, If you get offended by words like fuck, cunt, shit, piss, bitch or any racial slurs then you just scroll down.

You have to realize this isn’t an actual plan, it’s just a strategy to get female votes. For all their bluster and idiocy, women are the ones that want marriage and need it, albeit temporarily. Obviously politicians can’t and won’t offer real solutions, after all they created this environment for reasons known best to themselves and to which we can only speculate. But women are self interested, will always vote selfishly, and are very easy to manipulate. They are also the majority, despite claiming minority status for themselves.

Giving women the vote is what ruined the US, and there’s no fixing it now, so don’t worry about it. That’s the beauty of MGTOW, all these problems that we didn’t cause and aren’t allowed to fix aren’t actually our problem.

Who cares if women have a problem and some politician will pander for their vote by finding a way to blame men for it and attacking men for it? Heck if anything, banning porn will just further help men.

I gave up porn a year or two ago and have never felt better. We men are visually triggered, and when you stop triggering yourself you really get control over your sex drive, which really frees you up. I personally rarely think about women. If I didn’t have to run into any in my daily life I’m pretty sure I’d forget they existed.

First, there is no proposed law to ban porn in Utah. It’s a non-binding resolution, the text of which can be found here: http://le.utah.gov/~2016/bills/sbillint/SCR009.htm — so while the resolution CALLS FOR ill-defined ‘policy change’ and calls porn an ‘epidemic’, it doesn’t actually DO anything.

The sponsor, is a Mormon. The reason to bring his religion into this, is that it is CENTRAL to the discussion.

Mormons view sexual ‘sin’ as next to murder. And that is a principle means of controlling the sheeple; guilt. Men are leaving this cult in droves, and the Missionaries, are no longer successful in recruiting new members, because of the internet, where prospects can learn about Joseph Smith, the Golden Plates, and baptizing dead people at Mormon Temples.

For those not familiar with it, the Mormon Church is a very large business headquartered in Utah that controls the politics in Utah like Boss Tweed ran NYC. It has 40 billion dollars of assets and an annual tithing income of $8 billion dollars a year. Its primary product, is life everlasting, on your own planet. The Board of Directors is referred to as the ’12 Apostles’, who serve for life. It was founded by one Joseph Smith, who was a treasure-digger and con man, prior to founding it, to get rich and get pussy.

It controls the Utah State legislature. The senator proposing the resolution, obtained both his undergrad and graduate degrees from ‘Bringem Young University’, aka Brigham Young. It is sometimes referred to as ‘Bringem Young’ due to Brigham Young and Joseph Smith’s penchant for young child-brides.

As for ‘female votes’, women vote similarly to men in the US, but with men split nearly equally between democratic & republican parties & women favoring the democrats by about 16% http://www.people-press.org/2015/04/07/a-deep-dive-into-party-affiliation/ .

I would say only those who pay taxes should get the vote, in proportion to what they paid the last year. And exempt government employees.

As for WHY Utah residents love porn, maybe it’s because the ‘garments’ (underwear) Mormons must wear in their religion are so UN-sexy? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_garment — let’s just say, those aren’t flying off the shelves at Victoria’s Secret…

I live smack dab in Utah. Hell, their Brigham Young University is less than 2 miles from my apartment and I’m surrounded by apartment buildings where half of the “available rooms” signs are meant for BYU couples to rent per semester and crap like that.
I was unaware of the porn problem down here, but only because I don’t really watch porn stuff anyway. And as far as what I’ve seen, there is no “shortage of Mormon men” here for single women. SOME guys are getting fed up and going Red Pill, yes, but for every man who does so, there’s 20 manginas talking about “marrying their true love in the temple” and keep up the search, regardless of any story that warns them about advancing into their own destruction.
Hell, in the Mormon Church, there are actually “singles wards”, entire congregations of singles where the focus every Sunday is not on Christ, but lessons on the importance of getting married and having a family. Of course, once you turn 31 and you’re still single, you’re automatically booted out of those singles wards and left to fend for yourself because if you’re still not married by that age, you’re blamed for not trying hard enough. But you can always go to the “family ward”, sit in the back of the chapel, and watch people give you strange looks because they’re wondering where your wife/husband and kids are at. People who will give you a warm welcome, and then once they find out you’re single, they make up excuses to avoid you.
Believe me, THAT part of Utah is one I’m very familiar with.

There were a couple other details I neglected to note:

Utah has the lowest age of first marriage for women, at 23.7 years old http://www.prb.org/DataFinder/Topic/Rankings.aspx?ind=133 and also, the largest family size, by about 0.4 persons.

Bringem Young University, a private school, has an ‘honor code’. If you don’t go to Church, or have premarital sex or drink (alcohol, coffee, or tea), you can be disciplined, or even kicked out — your ‘Ecclesiastical Endorsement’ revoked by your local ‘Bishop’. There are limits to men and women visiting each other (hours, etc). ‘Apartment Managers’ visit rooms to make sure nobody is violating. Kids that come out as gay, have even found the school not releasing their transcripts to other schools… So don’t go there unless you’ve really drank the Kool Aid. They have an Honor Code Office to enforce it. Chastity is part of it — no porn, no masturbation, and of course, no sexual relations outside marriage. Women are encouraged to marry only ‘return missionaries’ — men that went out to spread Mormonism to new converts for 2 years on their dime. . . Oh, and to get ‘temple married’, plan on paying 10% of your income to the Church. And to get IN to see the marriage of your kids in the ‘Temple’, you must also have a Temple Recommend — ONLY Mormons with ‘Temple Recommends’ can participate in the super-secret sacred ceremony. How do you get a Temple Recommend? Pay 10% of your income to Mormon, Inc. HQ Salt Lake City, of course! Otherwise, you literally cannot go to your kids’ wedding. It is a great control scheme. Jim Jones would be proud of this one.
