I don’t see how this isn’t the right response to this invasion. They have no legal right to enter the US. If they are claiming asylum, UN policy, they do not get to choose what country they go to, they need to go the nearest country. Besides, UN has to authority to defy our constitution, nor the ability to enforce anything against our will.

As well, the US provides $127 million to Honduras on a yearly basis. Since most of these migrants are from Honduras, that is clearly not money well spent. It needs to end immediately

Posse Comitatus only applies to U.S. citizens within the borders of the U.S. during times of peace and does not apply to foreigners or when martial law is declared within a specific area.

There is actual coordination going on within the militia community all across the country, and there is talk of going down to the border and handling things where the government has become incompetent/traitorous.

The Federal Border is Federal jurisdiction. I don’t see how Congress or any States can stop this. Same as the Border Patrol, which is a Federal agency.

As the commander and chief of the military the President has exclusive power over the what/when/where when it comes to the military. The only REPEAT only thing congress can do is either declare war, or cut funding–that is it. As for the states forget it—the national guard can be federalized with an executive order.

We are well past time for these measures to be put in place—what the left will do at this point is try and orchestrate a “massacre” of the poor helpless illegals. “OH look we shot and killed some of them my my how evil the USA is”. Well they’re in for a surprise, I for one HOPE that is right HOPE we start shooting because after we do border crossing will come to a screeching halt.

There should be no need for violence in this, unless it is instigated by the invaders. If someone crosses the border and an illegal border crossing, you simply capture them and put them back on the other side of the Mexican border. MAYBE tell them that if they wish to enter the US LEGALLY, they need to do so at the establish border crossing locations with an appropriate passport, visa, and/or other required documentation.

If anyone attempts to cross the border with a weapon, confiscate the weapon. If one of the invaders tries to use force to enter the US, they should be used as an active combatant and treated as such.

They will have to work out the details on it, to maximize results. The wall alone, if it ever got built, wouldn’t be enough anyhow. The wall merely delays people getting over. It won’t deter them. The wall is a static defense that doesn’t adjust to what an opponent does. People find weaknesses in walls and then attack those. It is Mexico’s problem if they don’t like it. They need to fix their border. If they want to say the U.S doesn’t secure its own borders with Mexico, to prevent guns from entering Mexico, that is a claim that can be looked at.

It has to work, it needs to try to minimize negative side effects and it needs to be paid for.

This was a plan put in place during the Obama administration. Has been going on for years. It takes 4-8 days depending on mode of transportation to cross Mexico from the south to the US Border. The only reason Mexico allows these illegals in to their country is because the agreement is that they won’t stop till they hit the US border.

The former administration knew all this and actively worked with the Mexican government to process these folks through. By US law, if you capture an unaccompanied minor at the border, you are required to allow them in and place them in a detention facility, then release them to a relative or sponsor. The press gave it little coverage in terms of an organized event.

The Mexican government revealed that the caravan of more than 1,500 families from Central America making their way north is part of an annual event occurring over the past seven years without prior interference. Mexico City asserts it is not promoting the irregular migration and is considering how to detain some while granting asylum to others who qualify.

The revelation was made in a recent statement issued by Mexico’s Foreign Relations Ministry where it addressed the issue of jointly dealing with immigration and also discussed the caravan, which has drawn attention from the U.S. government.

Mexican officials revealed that the caravan is a public event which tries to bring attention to Central American migrants who are forced to flee their homes to seek refuge at other points north. The caravan has been a yearly event since 2010 and since the migrants entered the country in an irregular fashion, they are subject to Mexican immigration enforcement.

The statement makes no mention of any enforcement actions in the previous years and revealed that this year they are offering asylum to those who qualify.
